Navigate messages

Hello

I have a stupid question, but I'm not able to find the solution on the internet...

I use 'previous' and 'next' to navigate through the posts... and I would like that when I reach the last msg
by pressing 'next', it will jump on the first...

Anyone know how?

When I used 'Next' just like you and reach the last, than the one that I want to read, be it down or to halfway down the list, I press the "Home" button on my keyboard. He takes me to the top of the list and chooses the first e-mail.

    You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update if necessary:

  • Messages displays instead of contacts phone numbers

    Messages on my iPad displays almost every conversation by phone instead of by contact number. If I type the number at the top of a conversation I gives me the opportunity to add it to an existing contact, and I can navigate to the appropriate contact and see that the phone number is already there. Oddly enough, I have a contact which conversation shows by contact with the photo and all.

    All messages are correctly displayed by contact on my iPhone or Messages on my iMac.

    On the iPad, I went iCloud preferences and deselected 'Contacts' choose to have to remove them from the iPad and then their synchronized again. I also reset the iPad (i.e. held the Home and Power buttons until stop you it and then the Apple screen reappeared before releasing the buttons). The problem persists: Messages does not (mostly) my Contacts.

    What else can I try?

    You might be looking at threads of message that began with this phone number for so long, or were part of a group message?

    What happens if you try to messages with a clean slate is by sending a message to a new person marks (starting a new message thread) or by removing all your message the previous discussions (including group messages) involving a person who currently stands as a phone number?

  • Missing mail messages...

    Don't know if it of a question of Sierra or not, but it's the first time it's happened and in 2 days to upgrade to Sierra.

    My mail main account of IMAP e-mail was working fine this morning.  About 49 000 messages.  I looked on the message window this afternoon and it was completely empty.  No messages.  Title bar displays "0 filtered messages.

    Messages appear on my phone/ipad/webmail, but not in Apple Mail for this particular account.  Other accounts appear correctly.

    I tried to rebuild the mailbox, without change.

    I deleted the IMAP account and she recreated, it again downloads the messages from 49 000, but does not display them.

    The messages are still on the IMAP server, I can do a 'about this account"and it shows there are 49 000 messages in the Inbox.

    So, now what?

    Navigate to the folder of the user library. This folder is hidden by default. In the unhide: select the Finder in the Dock. Less go in the Menu bar > hold down the Option key and you will see the library.

    • Access to containers.  Drag the com.apple.mail desktop folder

    • Navigate to the Mail folder.

    Select the V4 > MailData folder.

    Delete all files in MailData with envelope in the name. (or 3)

    Open Mail. It will re-index your files.

    When I click on Select All to my saved messages, to move them to a folder in my documents, I can't move them all. I can move individually, but that's slow going, as there are hundreds to move.     The method you describe will save all messages in a folder at a time. The attachments are saved, but not any remote content.

    Simple messages can be saved in the windows folder in a format selectable 'save as type' - eml, txt, html.
    Groups of messages are stored in the folder selected as EML files only. There is no option ' Save as '.

    Saved messages can be opened by the appropriate windows program, generally a text editor for txt - Notepad files.

    To save a group of messages

    In Thunderbird, open the folder to view messages.
    CTRL + A to select all messages
    Right-click for context menu,
    Select 'record under... '
    Navigate to a folder in the left pane,

    All the selected messages will be saved in the selected folder. There is no confirmation to save.

    If one or more of the messages already exist in this folder (messages where the subject is the same), you will be asked to confirm each replacement, there is no option "replace all." This could be a problem if you try to archive messages in an existing folder. You can replace a previous message that has the same subject line.

    Windows treats the files in this folder as normal, no preview of the content, not searchable by Thunderbird.

    You list only an iPhone.

    You are only using an iPhone because it's Cougar (OS X 10.8.x)?

    On Mac, you may be able to use a backup to return to the conversation before you were sent the emoticons.

    You need open a Finder window, then use the Menu go, all holding the key pressed ALT.

    You may have the default display settings.

    Turn on the "Folders pane" can help you navigate better. I got used to the look of 'style Outlook' at some point.

    I think you mean the text stating "x of there matches", to the right of the box where you entered the search term.

    The first number ("x" in my example above) indicates the current entry highlighted on the page that matches the search phrase. If you use the upper and down arrows to navigate through the instances of this term on the page, you will see this number go up and down.

    This has happened since the last update. Currently on v38.0.1 desktop. I don't see this message when you use an Android tablet, and Favorites and passwords seem to be synchronized.

    The message then offers the preference button. When I click the button, the message disappears. Reappear when you navigate to a new tab.

    Thank you. Yes, I've always seen the Firefox Sync credentials, and I can't connect to accounts.firefox.com/settings.

    This morning, I deleted the signedInUser.json file in the profile folder, rebooted Foxfire and signed in Web sites. I left the PC to go to sleep. Wake up two hours later, there is no error message.

    I note that the file signInUser not re-emerged during the re-start of Firefox. If at this point, it looks like to solve.
