Navigate the screens
Hi all
How to navigate a single screen to another screen means how to add another sprite.
Thank you
Smail
Hey satish,
This has been discussed several times in the forums. Basically there is no concept of screens just a manipulation of the children within the application. Once you want to add a new "screen" you'd simply addChild() function and when you want to delete a view "screen" you'd a removeChild() function. below is a simple example of the technique:
Page1.as
package { //Remember to import all of the classes that you //are using import flash.display.Sprite; import flash.events.MouseEvent; import qnx.ui.buttons.LabelButton; // The following metadata specifies the size and properties of the canvas that // this application should occupy on the BlackBerry PlayBook screen. [SWF(width="1024", height="600", backgroundColor="#FFF000", frameRate="30")] public class Page1 extends Sprite { private var page2:Page2; public function Page1() { //initiate new object here to use later page2 = new Page2(); var labButton:LabelButton = new LabelButton(); labButton.label = "Click"; labButton.setPosition(10,50); labButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,dothis); addChild(labButton); stage.nativeWindow.visible = true; } //change the event to MouseEvent since that is what you //are listening for public function dothis(event:MouseEvent):void { addChild(page2); } } }
Page2.as
package { import flash.display.Sprite; import qnx.ui.buttons.LabelButton; public class Page2 extends Sprite { public function Page2() { var label:LabelButton = new LabelButton(); label.label = "Welcome to Second Page"; addChild(label); } } }

Is there such a thing has a picture on adobe viewer where I can store my photos and navigate them, view it on the screen?
Something like the mac iPhoto,
Yes, as Trevor mentioned, with the bridge, you can press the space bar and the images will become full framework, then you simply use the arrow keys to scroll though them and the space bar to return to the visualization of bridge normally. There is also a slide show option.

My touchpad / slider did something weird, then attaches after put the laptop to sleep and wake it (no reset). I write the problem here in case someone has it and where it appears again.
No reason apparent (no reboot, working on more than an hour), my cursor has begun returning several times up to the upper right of the screen whenever I lifted my finger on the touchpad (no touch screen). I write this, my cursor is now sitting quietly in the middle of the screen, apparently not abreast of his prior preferred to move to the upper right corner in the recent past. My solution to workaround (after a good 15 minutes of frustration and cursing) should always keep at least one finger on the touchpad. I put a finger where I had to be to move the cursor from its current location (to where I wanted to go) and the other on the touchpad for the cursor wouldn't move suddenly to the upper right corner again.
Another that put the laptop to sleep and he wake up, I have nothing to solve this problem, but it seems to be OK for the moment. I think that there is a hidden software glitch somewhere.
greetings to the community. .
I had exactly the same problem and tried to put my computer to sleep for 20-30 seconds, and it worked. THANKS for this posting!

It may be inadequate, say you goodbye, they say goodbye and then here, you sit on the phone again to try to unlock it, navigate to the phone and and click the stop button. What happened to the good old days a single button to hang up not buried behind the safety and the screens of the application.
I don't know I'm missing something on my iphone iOS 6 v 9.3.2 is there not a quicker way to hang up a call?
Hi there TelmedTim,
I understand that you want to end a phone call without having to unlock your iPhone and open the phone application. Next time, try to press the sleep/wake button and that should do the trick.
I hope this helps you!

I worked on a large document for several years and all of a sudden I can't scroll to the bottom of the screen with my two fingers on the touchpad, well that I have no problem scrolling to the bottom of this page to search for similar issues. I can navigate only to go up and down with the arrow keys.
What version of Pages is running on your MBP?
What version of Mac OS X is running on your MBP?
The MBP is not iOS running.

Why don't my PrintOut look like the screen display?
This happens everytime I use Firefox.
Whenever I try to print a list of Ebay, the main image is omitted from the print. Here is an example. This first link is to a (Fn and PrtSc) screenshot of a typical list on Ebay:
http://s1176.Photobucket.com/albums/x327/xvqgp/Firefox
Search for image FirefoxScreen.jpg PhotoBucket page
There is an overview of the issue at the left side of the page.
Now take a look at what I get when I use the command 'Print' to Firefox (it is a scan of the printed page):
On the same page look PhotoBucket for FirefoxPrint.jpg
There is a big empty space where the main image should be!
I have not been idle and checked a few things before I ask this question:
(1) I went to print as settings the useful Firefox article on printer troubleshoting points out. It has not cured the problem.
(2) of the same article, I have tried the function 'Print' on Internet Explorer. Although it pains me to say, I have the correct impression of Internet Explorer.
(3) to use Firefox in "Safe Mode" has not removed the problem.
(4) operating in 'Normal' mode but with disabled modules did not remove the problem.
(5) when I move the mouse over the main image on the Ebay page I
JavaScript:;
in the lower left corner of the screen. It is perhaps a clue, or is it a herring-saur?
I would be very grateful for the help.
Have you tried to use the print at the bottom if this eBay page?
Or is that what you use?All in all, it is not unusual for "print" be a little different from what shows on the screen ' ", this page can use @media to"screen"and"print ". The print on this page could be the difference, or the web browser may be after that code is that you used the print button or the menu item in Firefox.
http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/media.html#media-typesAs a general rule, the @print CSS is used to hide the menu navigation (can not 'navigate' to an another page on a sheet of paper) and maybe ads (can not 'click' on an advertisement which is made on paper) in being printed so that the article text is printed on paper.
Basically, it is probably not a flaw with Firefox, but rather Firefox following the commands on the page placed there by the person who wrote this page, or a standard "CSS stylesheet" used by eBay.

Impossible to navigate the hyperlink in the upper part of a Web site using Firefox
I can't navigate the hyperlink at the top of a Web site using Firefox. For example, in the site Web of Firefox, the cursor does not change 'arrow' to 'hand' when I point to 'Sign Out' or 'Inbox '. But it's ok for the rest of the site (i.e. the top right).
However, if I use Internet Explorer, I havn't met the same problem. Help please advise.
This problem is caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.

I tried to enter a password and navigate the menus to join a telephone conference today and found the keyboard is unresponsive and have the screen go black while trying to press the keys. Can we say boring! Anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible that you put your hand over the proximity sensor (top-right on the left part of the phone) during the call, causing it to go black? Try to put the speaker call after it connects like that allows you to disable the proximity sensor.

The screen record, channel up/down buttons missing in live TV
Hello
I am running Windows 7 (Version: 6.1.7600.16385 - win7_rtm.090713 - 1255) on a HP m9080n pc (System and tuner below specifications) and encounter a weird problem when watching live TV. If I place the mouse on MC I get on the screen control for playback of movies rather than over-the-air television. that is recording, guide and channel up/down buttons are missing. From time to time MC will draw upward and the buttons will be there but I have not found a model for when they / will not be there. I tried to watch 7MC goes directly to the tv live, from the guide, etc. nothing works.
There are a few variables to deal in what I executed some add-ons (DTBAddin 1.0.0.6, ShowAnalyzer and DVBLink for HD - PVR). Their uninstall does not change the behavior.
Has anyone seen elsewhere this behavior and have ideas or suggestions to solve this?
SYSTEM DETAILS:
HP m9080n

AMD 5770

Try to reinstall Media Center and set up to delete its settings.
To reinstall the Media Center, click on start, Control Panel, programs, programs and features, click Activate on Windows features on or off, in the media category uncheck Windows Media Center, press OK and restart your computer. Then, repeat steps and check the option of Windows Media Center to reinstall it.
To clear the settings, open Media Center and navigate to tasks, settings, general, installation of Windows Media Center, run the installer again. Choose the custom rather than Express Setup.

Cursor jumps across the screen.
While trying to navigate around my screen with my mousepad to laptop, the cursor jumps randomly offline.
- ex: when you try to click on the scroll bar (on a Web page) at the bottom of the page, the cursor jumps to the top of the page.
- ex: on the desktop, I'll move the cursor over an icon, and the cursor will move to a random point on the screen and continue to move in the direction my finger, said that on a new path.
- Sometimes, the slider works very well.
- The problem occurs when you use any program.
- I don't have the problem "while typing, my mouse moves and clicks on".
- The movement is just a quick jump from point a to point b. (not rapidly moving around screen clicking everything)
- If you need more info leave me a message.

No audio at the bottom of the screen icon.
I have no sound, I can't find the sound icon who was always at the bottom of the screen. I think that the sound could have been accidentally turned off. How can I check that and turn it back on?
To get the rear speaker icon, follow these steps:
Open Windows Explorer then > tools > file display Options > make sure that show hidden files and folders is checked > apply > OK.
Then navigate to the following folder, which should now appear:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
Locate the sndvol32.exe and copy it into c:\windows\system32, overwrite if asked.
Restart and you should now have to least your mixer back (your icon can be placed in the taskbar).
The sound works now? If this isn't the case, re - install your audio drivers a download from the website of the manufacturer of your computer/PC laptop, or one of the CD that came with your device.
Re-post if this issue remains.
See you soon,.

Cursor stuck in the center of the screen
All of a sudden the cursor on my son's pc is stuck in the middle of the screen. It's a mouse optical usb. I checked that the mouse (3 different ones) works on other computers in the House. I tried to move the mouse to different ports, but the cursor remains blocked. I rebooted the computer several times, both with the wired mouse and without the mouse, in him after reconnecting. When I go to Device Manager (navagating around using the keyboard... fun, not!) there is no category for mice and other pointing devices, do not know if this is relevant or not. This computer runs on Windows XP. I would be grateful for any suggestion, at this point, I feel I have ruled out problems with ports and mouse/mice, do not know where to look.
So, you have a USB keyboard or a PS/2 keyboard?
What is the brand and model of your mouse?
You may also download USBDevView from http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html and see if it can detect the presence of your mouse in the registry.
Hi PML... I appreciate your help.
It is a usb mouse. I have access to 3 all seem to run on other computers. So I'm trying to use the computer problem is an optical mouse, Kensington, model K64381. OK, so I downloaded the driverboost... and I'm ready to scan, but even if I am using the tab key, I can't land on the button 'Search now' huge... it never stops down on the link 'leave driverboost'... any suggestions.
I meant the keyboard , not the mouse. If you have a PS/2 keyboard, then you can safely uninstall all the USB root and hubs controllers (working from the bottom up) in Device Manager. When you restart, Windows should detect the hardware and reinstall everything. It may - or may not - the problem of your system, not recognizing the mouse when it is connected.
The problem if you have a USB keyboard is that you then will be temporarily withoutANY interface to the computer... and IIRC, you must meet certain dialogs during the phases of detection. If you can't answer (because you do not have a mouse or a keyboard), nothing is reinstalled.
Even if you do not have a PS/2 keyboard, before uninstalling the hubs and USB controllers, you can search the devices 'ghosts' that can possibly cause a conflict that prevents your system by recognizing the mouse. The directions are here:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539 replace step 1 with the following, which does not use the mouse:
Windows key + R > cmd > Enter
I'm not sure what you mean regarding the "Driverboost." I wanted to say to you allows you to download a utility named 'usbdeview. Direct download (for a zip file) link ishttp://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usbdeview.zip if you are able to unzip the file, you must then just run usbdeview.exe and he should do the scan automatically. There is no button "scan now".
USBDeview.exe should do the research work in the registry automatically. If you want to consult the registry yourself, start by running regedit and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum
Should a subkey under Enum named HID, and a named another USB. If you develop any of these two subkeys (based on your device manager, you can miss the subkey HID completely), you should see a number of entries that begin with the characters Vid. Here is the 'provider identification' for different devices connected to your computer.
The VID of Kensington is D 047, then look for an entry or entries that look like this: "Vid_047D & Pid_xxxx" (the xxxx is the "product identification code"; I believe that the value of PID for your mouse 1067, but I could be wrong).
If you click on the subkey under the Vid for Kensington, you 'should' see details of your mouse. It should look like this (although it is a Logitech mouse):http://cid-18b259158254905b.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/mouse%20reg%20key.jpg

Protection of the SPA112/SPA122 of the outside traffic
Some of our resellers (ISPS in most cases) are huge problems with their client of SPA112/SPA122 lock up due to malicious traffic to SIP from the outside. To alleviate these problems, the best solution for us would be the ability to put the whole SPA1
