NB100 internal microphone does not
Hello
I did a fresh install of XP SP3 on my NB100. I do not do it from the Toshiba recovery disc that my NB100 would not write this Toshiba disc creator that comes with it to my external DVDR/CDR even if it works well with Veritas.
So I downloaded all the drivers and everything there works well. Except the micro internal. I don't see anywhere to select more precisely. I choose the Realtek mic source, but I guess that's the microphone on the front panel. Whence the internal mic resident or where are the drivers for it? I searched this site and google anywhere. The microphone was working fine before the re - install.
See you soon
KeV
Hi kev,
There is no additional drivers for the internal microphone. It s part of the driver of the webcam, you will need to install.
In addition in Windows sound settings you can also activate the Microphone push to increase the microphone volume. Open the settings and change the input settings. Here, you can enable it.

Recently installed Windows 7 on Pavilion dv6748us - internal microphone does not work
I searched on the web, without success, to find how to solve this problem.
I recently installed Windows 7, 32 bit, on laptop HP Pavilion dv6748us to my wife. Now its internal microphone does not work.
Have got some advice "roadside" use a Windows Vista driver; Have no idea what is the driver or how to get it.
Have found information about uninstalling driver realtek audio and reinstall an earlier version; Have no idea about it no more.
Would appreciate an answer with a positive result.
Thanks for any help.
Hello:
Looking at your system information, you may have one of two possible audio cards:
Conexant HD audio or the RealTek HD Audio
The fact that you could not install the RealTek HD audio driver tells me that you don't have a sound card RealTek. Check your device manager and look at your sound card and check what sound card you have.
Here are the Vista 32 bit driver for the Conexant sound card:
Here are the Vista 32 bit driver for the Realtek sound card:
If you have the Realtek audio card, I would download and install the driver of more recent, HD directly from RealTek site:
Accept the agreement, download and install one on the list. Maybe it has been updated to solve the problem you are experiencing.

Hello
The internal MIC is part of the webcam module.
What happens if you start the webcam, try saving and small clip? The sound recording is this too?Usually, you can change the recording devices in Control Panel-> sound-> recording tab
Here, you can check what devices are available. Right click and check if hidden and disabled devices can be demonstrated.By the way: I had some problems with the playback of the sound after installing the Realtek audio driver. I uninstalled the Realtek audio driver and Device Manager remove the audio display Intel (in games, field audio video controller). In the peripheral zone system you could remove the controller high definition audio.
Again, restart the laptop.Usually, removing devices should be recognized automatically. Then go again to the dashboard-> sound-> recording tab and check if other devices outside external microphone are available.

Satellite S50T-B - internal microphone does not work
I have never attempted to use the microphone before today, so I don't know if it's a question that has always existed or barely took place recently.
I have Windows 8.
The internal microphone is not working I have a microphone with my recording devices menu. There are currently enabled, and another one that says that it is not plugged. This second microphone appeared after that I uninstalled the driver Conexant Smart Audio that was suggested on another forum.
Currently, I use Microsoft windows HD audio device and outside this second pilot disconnected microphone in the sound menu. When you use the registered sound software sometimes I hear a click and when I click on the menu of the bar beside the microphone fills.
I can't take the laptop where I brought what I moved the country after purchase.
Hello
As I m not wrong not the internal mic belongs to the internal webcam.
From my understanding, you need to activate the webcam in Windows settingsOpen the camera app Point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse to the top and then click settings. Click on Options. Here, you can adjust the settings for each option.
As I m not wrong there, you should be able activate the microphone on or off.
Finally if you want to use this microphone, you must set its default value in the sound? recording device tab. -
Satellite A100: internal microphone does not work
Well well, my type cell phone (or so it is said) is a Satellite A100, I have everything (I think) works fine, but it is only when I try to use my built-in mic phone the problem starts, it won't work!
It is said there is a built-in microphone, but the bar will not move as he cannot hear my voice, even when I'm screaming! I tried on msn thinking it was a small problem, but he said that had heard no noise!
It worked fine when I plugged my microphone in my webcam installed, but the problem is now, my older brother was and broken than microphone and I wanted that my only integrated to work but is not!
He said that the microphone is a Realtek audio HD with SRS, so I need to know if anyone can help me with this? Please?
Hello
Could you post a detailed laptop Satellite A100-xxx name?
It would be very interesting to know if the laptop supports an internal microphone or not.To my knowledge, some of the A100 don t support the internal mic and that is why you should use the external mic

Internal microphone does not work do not on HP Pavilion dv2608ca.
I have a dv2608ca HP Pavillion age of 4 years. The microphone has worked for the last 3 years and about 6 months ago, it stopped working. Any time, I record something using the recorder on my laptop, I hear two sounds dull (as if someone was tapping on the microphone with a finger) and then silence. I took it to my local Best Buy for repair. They ended up wiping my own hard drive and then reinstalling Windows Vista. This fixed the problem for a day, and now the microphone does not work yet. I do not anything to the system between the time wherever I came back from Best Buy and 24 hours later when they have stopped working. I tried to check the microphone with Windows recorder and there is no indication that a sound is detected (green bar does not move). No sound is detected with Skype or msn messenger. I tried right clicking the speaker down icon to the right of the screen and check the level of the microphone and making sure that nothing is cut. I tried to go to Panel following the instructions for the Device Manager and cntrl (updating the driver for the result Conexant High Definition Audio.: "driver is already updated"). Please, I beg you! Help? Thank you!
Thank you for your response. I read the links you provided and knew that I've tried all these steps already. Fortunately, in browing HP Web site, I found a feature that helps you identify the driver for your specific model updates. From this page:
I clicked on the audio driver and instead of updating my driver, I thought to upgrade to the previous driver. And it worked! I clicked on "Previous Versions".Problem solved! It is important that when using this Web site, the correct model of the HP product is identified so that appropriate support can be provided. And I guess I learned that the upgrade is not always the option of sound with my operating system Vista and HP laptop computer! -
DV9930US. internal Microphone does not work do not (Vista and Windows7)
Hello
I had my DV9930US for awhile, but until recently, I've not used the webcam or microphone internal.
I am preparing for a trip, so I thought I'd see if I could get something like Skype Setup, but I find the internal mic doesn't seem to work (do not hear anything). Audio output seems to work very well, and also if I plug an external microphone on taking forward, under the keyboard, which seems to work... it is just the internal microphones (there are two, I think, at the top of the screen, which surrounds the webcam) which do not work ...
Everything looks ok in Device Manager. Under 'Sound', I have "Realtek High Definition Audio". The driver is dated 15/01/08, V6.0.1.5548.
I tried to test it with sound recorder, I also tested the microphone 'configure', but it never shows all the bars and the Sound Recorder file records is essentially silent.
I still have the original Vista Home Premium on this machine and also Windows 7 Ultimate (I double boot), and even the original Vista seems to have the same problem.
I've seen a few posts here with problems with G60s, but no resolution, so I was wondering if anyone might know which
Perhaps the problem is?
Thank you!
Jim
Hello
For the record, I finally found the problem.
In the DV9930US, there is a small PCB (1 "x 1"), called the "of the power button. This is the power button, and 3 pin connectors, as well as a flat cable connector.
The microphones under the screen to connect to a 3 pinned connectors, and the flat cable is going, I think for the real sound card.
I had replaced the pickups, which does not solve the problem, so I bought the replacement power button that fortunately, came with a new flat cable.
It turned out that the original flat cable from the power button on the audio card was bad.
I replaced the flat cable, and then worked the internal microphones.

Latitude 6430 - internal microphone does not work do not
Hi, I am trying to get my internal mic work. Speakers work fine btw.
I installed the latest drivers and when I look under recording devices I see only 3 devices:
-Mic dock (IDT High Definition Audio Codec)
-Jack Mic (IDT High Definition Audio Codec)
-Rec. reading (IDT High Definition Audio Codec)
(as in this screenshot from another thread: http://en.community.dell.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/3517/7801.screenshot.png )
Shouldn't there be something like a "Microphone Array"
More info: I am running Windows 8.1 and the laptop does not have a webcam. I show offline and disabled devices.
Thanks in advance, Kai
I have a Latitude E6500 laptop, running Windows 7 and that's how I activated the internal microphone:
Panel--> Sound--> recording (tab on top)
In the rectangle showing all the microphones that are currently turned on, if you do not see the internal microphone (or Mic/Line In, etc.), click R to bring up the menu that gives you the option to display disconnected and device off and check both. The internal MIC is displayed. R click on the rectangle and set it as the default device, and if you want to use it for Skype, Google Voice, etc. Set it as Default Communications Device.as well.
I don't know if it works on other Latitudes or with other Windows operating systems.
Let me know if it works for you.

Internal microphone does not work do not with Windows 7 RC on dv9000 (Dv9817cl)
Hi, I recently installed Windows 7 RC (64-bit) on my HP dv9000 (DV9817cl) and everything seems to work outside the internal microphones.
In the section of section material and audio control panel sounds he is only a specified recording device "Microphone, device high definition audio, not connected. I guess that's the port microphone 3.5 mm at the front of the laptop. There is only one problem of driver in Device Manager for "other devices > coprocessor.
The current audio driver is high definition Audio Device from microsoft v6.1.7100.0. I tried looking for updated drivers ion the web without success so far.
Anyone know where I could get a updated driver or have any suggestions to get it going?
Thanks in advance
Message edited by Hamer7513 on 07/25/2009 02:25Hi Daniel,.
Thanks a lot for the info. I could not quite update the audio driver you linked to, but I eventually find update driver on the hp site:
I used the "hermosa" driver version and now everything works OK.
I used the updated driver that you suggested for the error of the coprocessor driver, which worked well.
Thanks a lot for your comments.
See you soon

Satellite Pro P300 PSPCDE - internal microphone does not work
Win7 Professional 64 bit German
Helllo Forum,
The problem seems simple but its delicate. The internal microfone is not working.
I cannot find any topic in the deivce Manager. Is there perhaps a way to activate the Mikro as FN + X?
"I've tried the standards such as ' Start +" Mikro ", right click on the speaker icon...Is there someone who had solved the same problem?
IAM running low on ideas...
Thank you
How did you test the internal mic?
Usually, the internal mic belongs to the internal webcam. So have you tested this in relation to the internal webcam?
Pre-installed webcam software allows you to create movies and pictures. The film can be recorded with the sound and the internal MIC is used for thisIn addition the internal microphone should appear in Control Panel-> sound-> recording tab
If it s not visible, then you must right-click and must check the options; Show hidden devices, see the disabled devices. You could activate the internal microphone and this could make as default device.
