NB200-10Z does not start - slect boot device message
Hello, sorry for my English, I'm Italian and I have him translated by the translator.
I am writing because I have a big problem.
My toshiba NB200-10Z has this break: I turn it on and I get the "Toshiba innovation leader" screen and bottom left shows «crazy (F2) Setup, press (F12) to the boot device selection menu...»
No matter what button I press him, and still nothing happens. I tried to replace diskbench hard ram, but nothing does not change.
I don't know what to do.
I am very worried. Can you help me?
Thank you to tell me everything
Dino, Rimini Italy
Usually, the message appears because the laptop could not boot boot device...
In most cases the disk HARD is not found in BIOS due to the fault and therefore the laptop not found system.
Question: are you able to access the BIOS F2 key?
If so, the HARD drive is listed in the BIOS?
You can boot from another bootable media such as disk or a USB key?

Windows 8 could not start - no boot device - no Options
I have a Gateway computer in 2013 without a disk provided with 8 preinstalled windows drive. I did a full system recovery less then a week ago and you have not done something with windows since. I turned on my computer today to a reading "windows failed to load" error screen then I rebooted and that you haven't even spent the front door after twenty minutes of waiting. The next reboot a few was a frustrating mix of bridge and eventually achieve a black screen with a small white line in the corner, and then never do anything. Finally I made it to an option screen that told me to use the arrow keys to select an option. But there is no options. None. I pressed on the top and down arrows. Nothing. I pressed on enter. Nothing. Finally I pressed ESC received another message, I need to insert my windows installation disc. Where, I ask, am I supposed to put this drive? I pressed on enter and led to a black screen where the only key that did anything at first was esc where I only got the error, no boot device - please reboot system. Then I pressed on enter and esc a few times before you restart and repeat the process with the same results.
I wonder if anyone has a solution. Please, any help would be appreciated. I also told him really as far as I know on this computer, I don't know much about them, so I don't think I can answer anything about the hardware.
You the computer tells you that it cannot find a device that has OS loaded on this subject. This normally means that the hard drive has gone wrong. First thing is to run the diagnostic on it. When you press the power button start tapping on the F button for your computer and BIOS menu will open. Select diagnostics if you have one and test it to find errors. Not all system equipped with diagnostic in the BIOS. If the hard drive breaks down or he says that you don't have a hard drive, then you need to get a new one and order the DVD of recovery of the manufacturer. If everything goes, looks like the BONE is damaged. If you have a CD or DVD to install Windows repair system, boot from the CD/DVD and run the repair of it. You will have access to the boot device options in the BIOS to make it boot from the CD/DVD. If you do not have a CD repair system, you can make one from a computer that has the same OS as yours. If that does not fix it then your probably going to have to reload your OS back operational. You will need to recover your data and files before you do this. If you want to try to recover your files click on the link below and read about how to download and use a Linux Live CD to the system startup to retrieve what you want. If you have a computer of Windows 8, then you must disable secure boot using the CD. The Live CD you will also see the rest of the computer.
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-v...
Once you got what you need, you can reload your operating system.
Try the advanced startup options. When you press the power button, start typing the F8 key. You will see the early startup menu. Select repair your computer. Select your language and enter your user name and password. Click (brand name) then next and factory Image Restore. Answer the question and it should start the recovery back to the factory settings.
If you can not access the advance startup options and then try to recover from the recovery partition.
When you press the power button start tapping on the F button for your computer and BIOS menu opens, select the recovery mode. This will reset your computer back to factory settings.

Windows xp does not start because of error messages
I was using my laptop, then I decided to restart windows media player coz had crashed and would not work.
I click on start.turn on computer.restart. It takes a while and it did not restart, so I click on restart again.but that she still does not restart. so I try to close and he does not either be pressed to go I hold power button to turn off and it turns off.
When I got home, I turn on my laptop, it starts to load windows normally and then goes to blue screen HP and right before going to the XP user profile selection page, this error message is displayed:
-isass.exe this application failed to initialize properly (0XC0000005)
When I click ok in the dialog box, you'll see this message:
-services.exe this application failed to initialize properly (0XC0000005)
When I click ok in the dialog box, the error isass.exe above message again and when I click ok, the services.exe above error message appears again.
so in total 4 error messages in the following order: isass.exe, services.exe, isass.exe services.exe
When I click on ok in the last error message dialog box, the blue HP screen is still there and it refuses to load the selection of the user page XP no matter how long I leave it.
How can I fix? any help would be much appreciated...Notes:
Laptop HP - that came preloaded with Xp professional edition sp2, so no XP cd.
-Cannot access all Office
-If started same error occurs in the "last known good configuration" or "safe mode".
-contacted HP for help but they were useless.
-access bios.
-mouse and keyboard is functional.Karim maher,
Thanks for posting with us. If you are able to boot mode safe mode with command prompt, and then run this command:Chkdsk /r
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315265
It is also possible that this happens if there is a registry problem. You can consult this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545
If they do not help, then you will need to use the recovery options that are available from HP to perform a repair installation or a parallel installation.

I have a HP G70 - EM I think... INCORE Intel i5 4gbram, 1tbh/d, computer LAPTOP WITH WINDOWS 7 premium USER...Us and try to resolve technical problems online until it has your from?
I'm just amazed myself that I even made myself, the option I chose was
FULL WINDOWS PC RESTORE
(I hope I get these details just like I fixed it just last night)
throughout these updates, it always reminds you have the power cord plugged in and not to turn off the laptop.
first of all it is then checked for a backup which was not one, so then then it restarted and began to
start installing the updates that was around 64 to nearly 70 of them if I remember I thought crazy it
has taken an eternity.
following it then restarted and installed a reconfiguration 3 updates to re configure the hard disk, which he did not (this may just happen on my laptop)... and then it restarted and installed 3 updates 3 of 3 to 100% with each.
and after restarting my personal profile came on windows vista family premium, I entered my password and its opening! ... I was amazed!
but to test the problem I did a reboot with power cable attached to the phone, he was fine. then a stop down and turn on without power cable, always very well.
I'm now writing this online with my laptop :-). . I hope it stays like that.

I am running Yosemite (OS 10.10.5). Trying to open 6 LR, I get two error messages. (1) an internal error has occurred. Could not create the required folder: / Users/username/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Lightroom / develop Presets. (2) an error occurred when attempting to change modules.
When I tried LR 5 running on the previous system, I got the same error module changing, but cannot find anything on the Adobe site and thought that maybe the program was not compatible with the system. But here again the same problem. I really want to stop using the old computer with LR 3 and use the updates, I bought.
Hi Benjamin,
You must change the permissions of the folder Adobe in two libraries.
Browse to the location: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
/ Library/Application Support/Adobe
CMD + click on the Adobe folder
Click on Get Info
Click the Permission & sharing
Click on the padlock
Unlock it
Change the permissions of writing & for all users.
Check the link and try the Solution 5: error changing modules
Let us know if it helps.

Your hard drive is failing, fast (these things last forever). You need to replace as soon as POSSIBLE. If you have important data on what cannot be replaced I suggest you plug it into another computer as an external drive and pulling all the data you need it off.
If you do not have the possibility to connect the drive directly on another PC, you can download a live Linux CD/USB.
Step 1: Acquire a blank CD or USB. If you use a USB port, format it in FAT32.
Step 2: Insert your chosen in your PC Backup media.
Step 3: Download Unetbootin.
Step 4: Select a distribution in the drop-down list. Just about anything will work, but for your application, I would recommend "Puppy Linux".
Step 5: Select your media.
Step 6: Once Unetbootin is complete, insert your media in the PC is installed on the corrupted hard drive.
Step 7: Boot puppy. (You may need to select your Flash DRIVE or a CD in your BIOS)
Step 8: The use of the included file manager, mount the hard drive and browse for the files you need. You can then save these on another DRIVE or a CD drive, or the internet.

Windows server 2008, converted to a Dynamic Volume does not start
Hello
I'm running the v5.1 free eSXI hypervisor. In order to increase the size of my boot partition I changed it to a dynamic volume. When I rebooted the machine would not start "no boot device." I installed it with the controller SCSI Paravirtual. I started a Windows Server installation CD to try to 'fix' the server, but even with drivers manually Paravirtual he does not see the windows operating system. Can I start from scratch or y at - it a hope?
Thanks a lot for your suggestions in advance.
OK I solved this. Here are the steps I took in case someone has this problem:
I exported the VMachine to a model of the FVO on my local PC. I used 'WinImage' to convert this VHD image that I could ride in VirtualBox (only because I am familiar with it). I hit F12 in VirtualBox (after the installation of a Windows Server CD in the machine) who started Windows Server on the CD and allowed me to run the recovery command prompt. I guess conversion scratched somehow 'dynamic' volumes, because they might be considered now. I ran:
Bootrec /fixmbr
Bootrec /fixboot
Bootrec /rebuildbcd and brought back the operating system in the boot list
> restart
For windows first time tried to start, but I'm a BSOD so I thought it was just a mistake of the storage controller. I used WinImage to convert a vmdk which I was able to boot into VMware Workstation by modifying to 'IDE '.
Successful start!... and then just "transferred" to the ESXi Hypervisor of VMworkstation after the have attached to the host server.

Please help: Windows XP does not start error message: STOP: 0 x 00000024
Original title: Please help: Windows XP does not start.
Windows XP does not start, there is a message: STOP: 0 x 00000024. and run CKHDSK/F to check for hard drive corruption. But I don ' t know how to make it work? Please help, thanks.
If this is the message you get, then you have multiple problems...
1, xp should be on the C: drive, not F:
Default C: is for the OS only. With xp on drive F: and you use only a hd
then the hd must be formatted and all partitions deletion (unless there is a relocation
the operating system is present). Install the xp installation cd, boot the pc on a cd (some PC need BIOS
be defined for this, (boot priority), once at the cd menu, press r for recovery console, select 1
for the C: drive, press enter for the password, type: Diskpart in diskpart, see all partitions, delete all,.
Create one, press the key type, ESC: EXIT leave pc reboot, install xp from the cd, format it when asked.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit freezes on startup after the last update.
I think I have updated a major problem with the latest update from microsoft. I've been running windows 7 ultimate 64-bit for over a month now, as I received it for a launch party I was the host. That's all works fine but a few nights ago, he just st
