  I have a Toshiba Satellite L350 (Windows 7) that I bought in January. Everything was fine until the last two weeks when my webcam suddenly stopped working and when I sign in Dungeon getting a webcam of the message initialization failed, please check your device and restart the computer or the camera.

  I went to settings and it says camera works, but it is not. I also have another pop up when I sign saying check Toshiba laptop stopped working (not sure what it is)

  Hi Jan,

  I had the same question as my webcam didn't work and so I reinstalled the driver for the webcam that could solve my problem. You can download it here:
  http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

  But I recommend to remove the old version first. Then use CCleaner to clean the registry and then you can install the latest version on the Toshiba site.

  Toshiba laptop recording you can remove from Control Panel > Add/Remove programs.

  It is not easy to say what the problem is there but what you can try is to remove the Camera Assistant software system and after restarting the laptop installed the last driver of the webcam, you can find for your laptop model on the Toshiba download page

  You reinstall Windows using Toshiba disk recovery or a normal disc of Microsoft?

  If you have already reinstalled the driver for the webcam I advise to use CCleaner tool. It is a very nice freeware tool that can check your registry for the old registry keys and delete.   I have a NB250-108, which was improved in RAM 2 1 (sorry I am garbage to techy stuff) as a friend suggested he could accelerate his top. (makes)

  I had a few years now and the battery is not coterminous with and I have problems with the load as I really need to move the charger to operate so I was wondering if it's time to face facts and instead end up constantly spend on him and end up with broom triggers I should get a newer version?

  Can someone tell me what would be the difference for everyday use between this and the NB510-11U? That is, would it be as fast as my RAM NB250-108 upgraded?

  Please excuse my ignorance, but I am a total novice and only use my netbook for hotmail, ebay etc.

  As I already wrote in another thread:
  Two laptop computers NB250-106 and NB510-11U are just a bit different:

  The NB250 supports 1 GB of RAM, NB510 supports 2 GB of RAM
  The two units seems to be equipped with an Intel Atom processor. Therefore, there is not much difference.
  Display size is the same 10.1

  The NB510 is equipped with a larger 320 GB HARD drive (NB250 supports 250GB)

  To be honest, it was only a difference in RAM.

  The information I want is what should be the Partition sizes for the DATA (d) and SYSTETM (e), what software should I have installed under the SYSTEM partition and is at - it all URLS where I can download it from, this software also must be made bootable? (for recovery system etc.).

  Please note: I'm still all software should I under the partition DATA (d :)) and its single partition SYSTEM (E :) software missing.) I hope not to have to pay for the recovery DVDs!

  No, you can't download the image of Toshiba.
  If you want to install the Toshiba Recovery disk image, then you must order the CD from here:

  Managed to get the BIOS with ESC and F1... and got m/c start CD player. with W98 drive in

  ScanDisk fixed a lot, a lot of probs... then to start to reinstall W98.

  Stupid me thought that I wonder if he will now start without having to reinstall windows.

  Turned on / turned off... now I'm stuck.
