  I have Acrobat 8 Professional (pc, operating system Windows XP) and want to know how to make a pdf from Microsoft Word (2003) where the size of my document remain as they are, a non-standard size, such as 5.5 "x 8.5". All the choices of "paper size" is standard, and if I check "Custom" and type the non-standard dimensions, it does not work.   You can create a customized for Acrobat page size.

  In Word:

  1. File > print (choose AdobePDF) > Properties.
  2. On the Properties of the Document Adobe PDF tab, choose Add beside the size of Page Adobe PDF.
  3. Type a name for your new custom page size and type in your dimensions.
  4. Click Add/change to close this window, and then select your newly created in the drop-down list paper size.

  I checked your account & I see that you have purchased the upgrade to Acrobat Pro DC November 2 & Acrobat Standard DC November 3.

  Update requires the previous version of Acrobat serial key to activate, but the second is a purchase of full application (Acrobat Standard DC), and so it should not ask the serial number recorded previous product.

  Make sure that you enter the series of Acrobat Standard DC key not key upgrade Acrobat Pro DC series.

  I am preparing a newsletter created in Adobe InDesign to send to a printer in Germany.  This is the first time I send a document to the press since her arrival in Germany in February and the first time since upgrading my computer and software for:

  MacBookPro: Model 5.3

  Adobe InDesign: version 6.0.6

  Adobe Acrobat Pro: version 9.4.0

  When I connect to the computer via HDMI to my Plasma Hitachi 37PD5200 screen, which can go with resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 max resolution I get is 1024 x 768.
  I try to change the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, but there is no custom settings for the HDMI port. The software detects the Hitachi monitor and says it is only capable of 480 p EDTV. And I can't change that.

  If I connect via the VGA cable, works very well, with 1600 x 1200 resolutions. But the problem is that Toshiba HD-DVD player works only via the HDMI port.

  If I connect a PS3, Xbox 360 or my player to DVD via HDMI, all devices to detect 1080i.

  As someone had this problem before?

  Very strange, I know that the satellite X 200 series supports the standard HDMI V1.2 (up to 1080i). You can watch HD DVD movies on internal Toshiba laptop screen with a resolution of 1080i pixel and external TV Full HD with 1080 p resolution.

  I m not 100% sure, but I think that this setting can be changed in the BIOS. Check it!
