NB510-109 - recovery data backup

Hello

My SSD has failed and I need a new. Is it possible to save or retrieve the data recovery including the Windows Version of content so that I can install my existing Windows Version on my new SSD starter?

The restore option does not work.

I have a Toshiba NB510-109

This little netbook was originally shipped with HDD so I m wondering how did you install original recovery image on the SSD.

In any case, if the SSD is completely dead I see not any opportunity to do something about it. What you can do is original restoration disc order for your machine, but my recommendation to you is to install the clean version of 32-bit Windows 7 using the Microsoft installation disc.

I did this on my NB520, and believe me; It works much better than the original version of starter. Graphics performance is much better when I watch movies.

    Hello

We have a process in place for the App backup folder... I saw a process where data recovery is made by just the files ind and pag... and the restructuring of the DB... it is a good practice for the data backup and recovery...

Assuming that the pag and index files are in the same location that the db files then, stop the application, restore the files, start up, up to you if you want to restructure as if you have restored all the files, it will be in the same State when the backup was performed.

  • NB510-109 - driver missing for Ethernet and network controller

    Hi again

I replaced the HARD drive on my NB510-109 and installed W7 32-bit teacher. Windows unfortunately has no Driver for my network controller and Ethernet. The seller of Ethernet is 1969 (Atheros), but the driver I found does not work.

The seller of network controller is 10EC (Realtek or Acer) but I can't find a driver.

Is there a link where I can load the original driver CD/DVD?

PS: I could not save the original data of my old HDD for HARD drive has not finished.

Are you looking for driver LAN or WLan driver?
I m asking because the network controller could mean the WLan or LAn card.

However, the laptop supports the Atheros LAN card and you must install the Atheros LAN driver.
The WLan card is made but Realtek. Its 802.11bgn RTL8188CE card Wlan.

On the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find two drivers Atheros LAN to Win 7 32 bit:
    v 2.0.9.9
    v 2.0.11.12

I recommend you to check them both.

Realtek WLan driver can be downloaded from Toshiba WLan Portal:

  • Restore the iTunes app data backup and backup to iCloud

My iPhone 6 has been stolen. I got iCloud backup enabled, and the last backup was 2 days.

I do a full backup encrypted via iTunes it also sometimes manually, the last time was 1 month ago.

I bought a 6 new iPhone as a replacement. When I tried to restore from your backup, everything (photos, applications, settings) seems to be restored very well, but most of my applications (not all) were missing from their app data.

More importantly, Google Authenticator, which had all my keys to two factors and in hindsight, an app that follows the historic activity and has experienced a year of daily data stored on the device value authentication.

I don't understand why it affected only a few applications, but not all. Most applications requiring a login account is no longer connected, makes me think that their data was not were properly restored either. I found one or two applications that had some settings restored properly, but most of my apps seem to be returned to a State of the new facility.

I tried to re-do the restoration of iCloud again and got the same results.

I'll try the iTunes backup restore then, but even if it works I would miss even 1 month of a data value. Is it possible to recover this data? I guess that that's actually in the iCloud backup 2 - old days, but for some reason any, that he is unable to restore.

Is it possible to combine the full restoration of iTunes and then update with the most recent data backup to iCloud app?

Update: when I tried to restore the iTunes backup I received this error a few minutes:

Is it because the original phone was an iPhone 6 and the new phone is a 6s? Is it possible to access my backup?

  • Simple question about data backup recovery

    Hi all

It is the first time that I will propose Vmware Essentials Plus Kit as a solution to one of our customers.

The solution will be X 2 DL180 server with 2 TB of storage each connected to an IBM iSCSI SAN DS3500 series.

I want to be able to provide this scenario HA, and also, I want to use the data recovery backup to perform backups of virtual machines OF SAN DL180 server, so in the case of the SAN has very serious injury and can not be brought back online on the same day, in order to start the machines directly from the DL 180 servers.

I would like to know if it is a supported scenario.

    Thank you

Very welcoming. Unit vDR is certainly worth using because it allows long-term storage of backup and in a space images relatively small. Restoration of 10 mV because of a collapse of SAN he would not provide a simple and fast restoration.  The same 10 script ghettoVCB clones could be high in a few minutes.

  • Using primary data backup recovery

    Hi all

Here we have an environment dataguard with db1 (db_unique_name) as primary and db2 (db_unique_name) Physics of the standby database. We have configured dataguard in environments of 10 g and we don't use a grid control. And now we want to configure rman for incremental backups. After you set up, we took full backup successfully in the newspapers of the previous day and archive. While the test case we dropped a primary data file and tried to get it back. It displays the following error. Also when I tried "overlapping backup" since the primary, is to show that all backups taken to sleep are "expiration". But the same backups show as 'available' RMAN connected standby mode. Can someone help with this problem?

  • Data recovery for backup ESX4

I already do the backup to the LUN with 'Data Recovery '. Is it possible for me to complete the data in the LUN to the tape recorder. BTW, could someone tell me what the DR uses for backup? Is - this mode of SAN or NBD?

Is it possible for me to complete the data in the LUN to the recorder

In its current form, no.  IF you use a vmdk for the target of the VDR, you always have to copy this vmdk in tap somehow drive... There is no way to archive data still... I'm sure that VM ware is working on this, but seeing as how VDR is always 1.0... It could be a year or two before we see this mature at this point.

Take the name, the more sinister than the backup.  This is an archive of the reserve, not long term.

Is - this mode of SAN or NBD?

Both.  I found out today that if you put a VDR in a datacenter, and your VM of in a different datacenter these backups will be the network.  If VDR is unable to access the vmdk he tries to backup, you will also get a network backup.

HE reconfigures the VM, add the disk to the VM VDR and makes local, so that the data (add min scsi) local to the machine virtual and copied via the San, because it is mounted.  He's trying SAN first, then he resorts to the network.

So I think you need to do so that the LUNS are visible on the ESX host where the VDR, so that it can correctly 'see' the VMs for SAN backup.

  • HP Pavilion Entertainment PC: Can I use HP Recovery Manager Data Backup If my hard drive broke down?

I am running Diagnostics on my PC. I don't know if my hard drive is completely broke down, or if my hard drive has a formatting error. I'm currently back up all my data using HP Recovery Manager, because I may decided to restore my computer to its factory settings to correct I hope than the hard drive. My question is: if I can run HP Recovery Manager and data Back, it means that my hard drive is not broken?

    ghahs

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your post about your hard drive problem and wanted to help.

Let's start by defining some terms.

When a disk 'crashed', it means a hardware failure, such that the disk cannot be read. You can not write on the disc or read him.  It can only be repaired by this disassembly and replacement of parts.  This must be done in a clean room environment and the cost to do that starts at $1000 USD.

When a disc has "failed", this could mean practically anything.  In some cases, this means that the file system is damaged.  This may be due to the closure of the PC in the middle of a write operation, as when all of a sudden, you turn off your PC.  This can also be due to hardware problems as for lack of sectors.  In both cases, the drive is probably still usable, but in the second case, it won't be for long.

So if HP Recovery runs, then it is not 'crashed', but he could have 'failed' - and in the latter case, if she fails to sectors, replace faster you it, the better.

    Good luck

I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.
