NB550D - what is SDHC slot?

I wanted to add a SDHC card, but did not know how fast the slot is in this book. Could he take full advantage a card 60 MB/s or the player will be the bottleneck?

Hey Buddy,

I never heard that the speed of cards slot is limited. Usually it according to the SD or SDHC card.

Where given a SDHC with 60 MB/s? Fastest SDHC card is known for me is SanDisk Extreme 30 MB/s and they're fast. I only use this brand of SDHC cards and never had any problems with performance or something else. They're fast enough for recording Full HD movies for example :)

The SC and the location ExpressCard slot are not the same.  I have a Latitude E6410, and it has a card slot smart (SC) on the left side and a slot ExpressCard (EC) on the right.  The slot of the EC is about 3 times thicker.  The smart card slot is for reading chip (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_card) and is a way to check someone's identity to allow them to use the computer and is shared with the Government and various companies.  The slot Express Card (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ExpressCard) is for expansion devices, such as wireless or USB 3.0 ports maps.  ExpressCard is the newer and faster standard replacement for older PCMCIA cards.

  • What is the slot under the battery

Just got my new T400 yesterday and was very excited about it.

have a question here.  I noticed a place where the mental battery seven pines touch laptop, in virtue of this place, there is a small plastic film with a similar size to a micro-sd card card. He's also a figure resembles a card SD (rectangle with a corner cut). If I pull the plastic film, the card can also be removed, but the film remains in.

I don't find it anywhere in the manual. What is this site supposed to do? I guess that is not the SD card reader, because it's on the left side of the laptop, not hide under the battery does.

    Thank you.

I think that it is the location for SIM card for the machine with system WWAN. If you do not have the WWAN, it's just a dummy slot that does nothing.

  • NB520 or NB550D - what is best for me?

I read about this 2 models (NB520 and NB550D) with nice design and super car radio, but I can't decide that for me?

My needs: internet (mail, web, youtube...), the Office package, movies (divx, rmvb), picture (basic edition). I know the difference in characteristics (CPU, graphics,...), but cannot use this knowledge :(

    Could you help me?

    Hey,.

There is not much difference between these models: the two have 10 display, powerful speakers Harman/kardon, autonomy of Windows 7 and 9.5 and 10 hours they are perfect for mobile use.

Intel Atom CPU and CPU AMD NB550D NB520, but I don t think that there is a difference in performance. They have almost the same performance.

In your case, I buy the cheaper model. In addition the design or let's say color is a little different then buying the model you prefer. ;)

    Hello:

Here is the link to the Intel chipset plug for the chipset of your PC.

You will see the revision of PCI 1.1 listed.

  • XPS M1530 customization - what is a 'Slot Load Blu - ray Disc (BD/DVD/CD read/write) "?

Hi all! I'm looking to customize my laptop so that it can play Blu - Ray movies. Is "Slot Load Blu - Ray Disc" the thing I'm looking for?

    Hello

You want to buy a disc "Blu - Ray".

You must make sure that you choose that has included software for watching Blu - Ray movies. 'Slot Load' means a player who is not a tray that pops out like a CD or regular DVD player don't. You just have to push the disc into the "slot". I saw some problems with the discs of "crack" and suggest a regular reader of plateau.

    Hello

I guess that your average slot on the right side of the laptop.
Well, the express card expansion slot can accommodate two standard module formats: an expressCard/34 and expresscard/54 module to the module. An expressCard module is small, modular add-in card technology based on USB and PCI Express interface.

  • Satellite A210 - 11 c - what else can log on slot 3 G/HD?

    Hi all

    I have a few questions about my Satellite A210 - 11 c:

    1. What is 3 G/HD slot used for the motherboard except mini PCI-e card of 3 G.
What else can I connect there?

    2. is it possible to connect the mSATA SSD at this port

    3. What is built into the controller disc HARD SATA 1 or 2?

    4. can I use DDR2 800 Mhz?

    Thank you

    > 1. What is the slot 3 G/HD used for the motherboard except mini PCI-e card of 3G.
    > What else can I connect there?

You can us only for the 3G module

    > 2. Is it possible to connect the mSATA SSD at this port
    NO.

    > 3. What is built into the controller disc HARD SATA 1 or 2?
    I guess its SATA I (1.5 MB/s)
My Satellite A210 supports SATA I

    > 4. Can I use DDR2 800 Mhz?
The speed depends on the speed of the FSB chipset.
If you supports 800 Mhz FSB (front side bus), the modules would be too much to 800 Mhz.
Modules if compatible with FSB 667 Mhz, would be the same if 667 Mhz faster shooting speed in charge.
I guess you have to use the modules of DDR2 PC2-5300 memory

  • HP 1800 does not reflect the memory of 16 gb Micro SDHC

I just add a card Lexar 16 GB Micro SDHC for my new HP 7 1800 but don't see any increase in available memory.

Is that what the SDHC-compatible HP 7 1800?

The instructions that I found do not mention using the Micro SD slot. Not even the way to remove the card.

Anyone using a MicroSDHC card in their HP 7 1800?

    Thank you

    Jerry

Ok. I found that the card works. Apparently the HP 7 1800 had only 5.56 GB g available plus 14.91 GB the card. I thought that the 1800 came with 32 GB GB 5.56 available does not seem like a lot.

Also understand that the map is spring-loaded and pushing on it releases it.

    Hi Ranzig,

these slits at the bottom of your IdeaPad U410 are cooling vents,

It is advisable to not block them completely for long periods of time.

especially if the laptop is under the heavy workload.

  • Inspiron 11 3000 series security slot

I bought an Inspiron 11 3147 with what appears to have a security slot no K-Slot. But I was unable to find out what kind of slot is. With the laptop, I bought a Kensington (part number Dell A5883764) security cable. The bar on the cable is too wide to fit into the slot on the laptop. The cable fits well in my other devices with a k-slot. The only explanation I can find is that Dell not only did large enough slot, which is also hard to believe to me.

I opened a case with Dell, but the technical support was not able to find a compatible security cable and advised that I contact Kensington.

Joint is a photo showing the slot and cable.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Recently, I got my Dell Inspiron 7000 13 and I had the same problem with my combination of Kensington lock.

Search for information in the web, it seems that Dell has changed the location of security for a shorter one (Noble safety Wedge) for some tablets, Ultrabooks (including Dell XPS 12) and the Inspiron 14 7437-7000. There is no information for Dell Inspiron 3000 11 or 13 7000 series, but I can see in some images the size of the slot is the same as the Inspiron 14 7000.

The new crack uses security Noble Wedge (manufacturer: TZ08 |) Dell reference: A6451164) and the link to buy it in the Dell store this special security cable is:

    http://Accessories.Dell.com/SNA/ProductDetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=DHS&CS=19&SKU=A6451164

I'll buy this cable hoping that it fit my Dell 13 7000.

In the details on the Lenovo site, it refers to: -.

    PC card

    • Conforms to the Standard 95 PC card
    • Type II interface
    • Both card 32-bit CardBus card 16 - bit Release 2.1 standard are supported.

Type II - BUT, under the 'Expansion', it refers to

    Berries

    • A built-in, easy to load modular Ultrabay Slim
    • Type II PC Card slot
    • One ExpressCard/54 slot

    Hi solariski,

It's a PC card slot, and according to personal lenovo reference book you can use Type I or Type II card. There is no ExpressCard on Z61t card as it appears. Was also a thread on this subject:- http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=35769&start=0

ExpressCard and PC card are two different technologies.

    I hope this helps.
