Near Cache invalidation events are always sent asynchronously?

Can someone tell me if near Cache invalidation events are always sent asynchronously regardless of the defeat strategy?

I just read the book of the Oracle coherence 3.5 of Packt publishing and he says that with the invalidation of strategy 'Présent' events are always sent asynchronously, which means that there will be a small window of time when the front cover is out of date. However the "All" section doesn't mention anything on this subject so am I correct to assume that the strategy of 'All' will be synchronous?

If there is a difference, then I'm surprised that the documentation of consistency not accentuates this as this seems to be an important factor.

Hi Patrick,

so this would mean that in the case of a cache of nearly, another node may still get the old value of the cache close even if the NamedCache original call has already returned, which is a lower guarantee than what you have with partitioned cache.

In fact, what is the case with replicated cache? It is ensured that the change is propagated to other nodes until the local call returns in the case of a replicated cache?

Best regards

Robert

  • Events are always set to 1 hour

Recently, when I create an event in the calendar of Thunderbird, it won't let me do the event last for more than an hour. If I updated at 15:30 start time and the end time 17:30, the start time is reset at 16:30. If I change back to 15:30, the time of the end is at 16:30.
One of my calendars is actually an online calendar which is then sucked down into Thunderbird. If I change the length of the session in another app/on another device, which works, and when calendars are synchronized, Thunderbird accepts little matter how long is the event.

To the right of the two boxes at the time, there is a picture of a link in the chain. It's a button and if you click on it, will switch to switch the link between the two buttons. By default, they are related and if it change you, the other will follow in order to maintain the default time of the event.

  • Outlook Express are not sent Bcc

Here we have 5 systems in our network. Each is a Dell or Acer running Windows XP Home or Pro. All systems receive and send through Outlook Express 6 and access the same email address. For several years, I sent emails to several eddresses with our eddress in the "to:" line and eddresses of all recipients in the "Bcc:" line. Recently, I spent this task to another in our network. I showed him how to place our eddress in the "to:" line and eddresses of all recipients in the "Bcc:" line, just as I did this time. When she clicked on send, a message window pops up saying that the message could not be sent because the recipient wasn't in his address book. Most of my recipients is not in my address book, but my messages are always sent very well. Its system will send a message with the recipient eddress successfully in the "to:" line and without the recipient in his AddressBook eddress. When we put a couple eddresses recipients in his address book, then put these eddresses in the "Bcc:" line, the email sent successfully. It would be much more effective if we could send to the Bcc without putting all these eddresses in the address book. What do you think spose we do wrong? Try to go to file | Identities on its system and overall upward a new identity and add your e-mail accounts, and then see if that solves the problem.

  • Near Cache update

We currently have a relative-cache with a Cache partitioned on the Cluster.
It contains about 60K objects that are quite large (they take about 60ms to load).
We load the objects into the Cache by using get (key) - the key is of type Long
Periodically, the objects are changed in the cache, which causes they expire and be removed from the front NearCache.
We do not want delay of 60ms when multi-threaded application next comes touch this object.

Essense, we need a near cache that actively supports its working set in a State to date, instead of the current «refresh on demand» approach
We are very sensitive to the need to minimize the number of block outputs network and latency.

-We want all the benefits of a NearCache (we use HighUnits/expires/Invalidation etc.).
NOTE: It is not possible to use a continuous Query Cache because the keys do not confirm a filter and are loaded on an ad hoc basis by key.

There are two options for possible implementation:

Plan has. When it receives an event to update the cache support, instead of immediately remove the key from the card before, it should re - ask the new value from the cache to support and update the map before with this new value. Insertions and deletions proceed as usual. This ensures uninterrupted access from the point of view of the customer.

Plan B. They will say that it can leave the cache in an inconsistent state, while we await the new value (especially if it is done asynchronously). In this case, we can proceed to the removal of the key from the card before, in the expectation that it will be reinserted when we receive a new value. This can impact the customer with a delay, while we wait for the new value. However, the probability of such a lack of cache is rather small, unless the client requests the same keys very frequently and repeatedly. We can set up with occasional delays, but with the current implementation we incur a guaranteed period.

(We could use a listener on the FrontMap and use a JavaThreadPoolExecutor that loaded the object by key).
We might have a beforeUpdate on the FrontMap event, so that the value doesn't go away until we have had time to update (the old object is pretty good until we get the new value and better than a delay of 60ms)

    Hi André,.

I just wanted to share the results of our conversation in offline mode for the benefit of everyone following this thread.

    Jon Purdy
    Oracle

"My main goal here is to avoid creating something that creates many questions (from complexity) it solves."

I _think_ the best approach is probably to leave the near cache as it is currently and wrap an another "cache" around him (for get-only read-only access to the potentially stale data). Your application code must decide what cache for access, but I think it's a good thing that you should be explicitly recognizing the different models of competition (for example between a cache coherent and voluntarily reducing consistency in order to increase the availability of data). I think it would be better for this "cache" to actually expose a traditional CAD - ish interface (for example, something like PotentiallyStaleCustomersDAO.findByPrimaryKey (long key)) rather than the more generic NamedCache interface; in part because more implementation of some methods of the NamedCache interface will get very tricky due to the unique semantics involved here.

Your DAO implementation must maintain a small card thread-safe internally. This map contains outdated values (exclusively) during the window between when an invalidation removes an element from the near cache, and when the prefetch sets a new value in the car. Your DOA will make a look-aside in this card, and if it finds a value will return that; otherwise, it will forward the request to the cache close.

You will need to create a custom listener and register it on the near cache (not sure if you want on the cache close itself or only the card internal before).
-On near cache "invalidate" send the 'old' value in the cache, DAO (he will be "reference") and send an asynchronous read-ahead task
-On another near the cache removal, remove the value from the cache DAO (just ensure that the DAO is not implemented cache data that is not the cache near)

Use the same task "Prefetch" providing for 'Plan B', but extend it to remove the item from the cache, DAO as soon as the call to "get" the near cache ends. This will result in a benign race condition if another thread asking the same key, but you can be sure that each "invalidation" will be matched by a corresponding 'prefetch', that will keep the own DAO cache (you can also do DAO to cache a local cache of limited size, if you want to, but that the size of it will be indirectly limited by the size of the cache close should not be necessary).

If you really want the NamedCache interface, you can configure a local cache and specify a CacheLoader then wrap you this CacheLoader around the above search method and set an infinitesimal size / time (for example 1 input and 1 ms expiry) on the cache. However, I would avoid it as you expand your API and hide the semantics of the strange concurrency data. "And most of the NamedCache methods would be useless to you."

  • Read-through Caching with time expired and nearly cache (foreground)

We are experiencing a problem with our custom CacheLoader and near cache with expiration / delay on the storage card scheme.

I was under the assumption that it was possible to have an expiry time configured on the system of support and that the cache near object was expelled during the backup object has been expelled. But, according to our tests, there must be a delay expires on the regime of front also.

My hypothesis is correct, as there is not an automatic eviction on the cache near (foreground)?

    Hi Jakkke,

Plan near Cache allows configurable levels of most basic cache coherence cache expiration based versioning of data cache according to the requirements of consistency of the cache invalidation based. Near Cache is commonly used to achieve the performance of the cache replicated without losing aspects of scalability of the replicated cache, and this with a subset of data (based on SRM or UPM) in the of the near cache and all the data in the cache close. Updates of can automatically trigger events to invalidate the entries in the invalidation strategy-based (present, all, none auto) configured for the cache close.

If you want to expire the entries in the and , you must specify a time-out on the two schemes as mentioned by you in the last example. Now if you are to expire items in the for the reason that they get loaded from the cache-store but remain even keys (only the values should be updated in the cache store), so you should not set the expiration delay on the mention rather the invalidation strategy as a gift. But if you want to have a different set of entries in after a specified delay so that you need to mention this in the configuration of .

Near cache has the ability to keep the plan before and backup data system synchronized, but the expiration of the entries is not synchronized. Still, avant-regime is a subset of background.

    I hope this helps!

    See you soon,.

  • Static vs dynamic events - dynamic events are empty

During the implementation of my project, I used static events to manage the interface. The Structures of the event separated while loops in the same vi.

I changed the architecture to make code modular and I use dynamic events. Dynamic events are captured in separate subVIs event Structures. I spend the references to the controls in the subVIs that have Structures of the event and I record the events of the references.

    Static events had no problem.

With the dynamic events, I see that some events are not consumed. Instead, I see the event inspector window a few times an event is 'empty '. This means that the button should be pressed again.

I am attaching two examples of projects that have exactly the same functionality.

    The testDemo2 uses dynamic events.

    The testDemo4 uses static events.

How much detail I miss the dynamic architecture events leading to lose some events?

This UI code is crizazy. It is difficult to really say what is happening, but you have a Unregister for events VI after the structure of your event to during each single loop and then re-register at the beginning of each loop. Empty all dynamic events currently in the queue and then re-registered again.

You must only register events, only once and cancel the registration at the end of the application.

What you do isn't really very modular. Even if you add a new event/control, you still he wire through the Subvi references and register, so you're not really save any time. There is nothing wrong with having a static event for your UI record. What you want probably is an architecture of messages in queue manager, where your static user interface events create messages that are sent to a loop of consumer to manage.

  • It takes forever to stop and get an error "he made a stop forced down as background programs are 'always' running."

    * Original title: start and stop

Hi team - can - you advise me here on this point - we have Windows 7 premium and during the signing of the computer, (and we closed everything out, I believe) it takes forever to close... We get a message that says "it's a forced down in the back ground stop programs are 'always' being-execution, then after a few minutes, the computer stops..." Is this normal?  And also it takes for ever to get signed in...  What is happening with this?  Any help is greatly appreciated - many thanks - sincerely - Dave Knapp

    (Moved to programs)

    Hello

Please click the start menu, type event viewer and press ENTER. Click the drop-down list icon left of views to custom, right-click Administrative events and select Save all events in custom as mode. Choose a file name for it, and save it to the desired location.

Download the file to a sharing site, such as OneDrive and provide me with the link.

You can also be infected by the malware. It should run a scan with the following programs and delete anything that they detect.

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - http://malwarebytes.org

    AdwCleaner - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner

    Junkware Removal Tool - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware will produce a log in C:\Users\Anti-Malware\Logs of the \AppData\Roaming\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes.

AdwCleaner will produce a log to C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[S0].

A newspaper will be produced by junkware removal tool in the situation where the tool has been run.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could include the three newspapers of anti-malware above programs in your response.

If please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop. Double click on it, select list installed programs and click OK. A journal is open, please send the contents of it in your response.

I recommend that you only perform a scan with the auditor of the filesystem, which will scan your system for missing/corrupted or damaged files and will try to correct them.

  • Near cache and filters/aggregators

    Hello

I have a few questions for close + scheme of distributed caching:
    1. If I do get filtered, is retrieved entries will be cached nearby
    2. If I do get filtered, close does cache of content are considered or filter is performed directly on the rear arrangement
    3. If I use the aggregation cache near content are considered or aggregation is performed directly on the rear arrangement

I have a feeling that makes filtering and grouping near cache useless in most cases, please is advised.

    Thank you
    Alexey

    Alexey salvation,

I guess that by "filtered get", you are referring to the API "entrySet (Filter). In this case, you are right; you mentioned are performed directly against the 'master' NamedCache (back cover) and the data contained in the front plane are not used.

In case (1), the data are not added to the map before either.

    Kind regards
    Gene

  • Previews are always created for the modified pictures.

All of a sudden, after the last update, iCloud, sharing photos and iCloud photo library Photos on my Mac do not work properly. I've added 264 pictures of Photos on my Mac six hours ago, and these photos appear not in the Photos on my iPhone 5 and iPad 2 Air. In addition, whenever I try to stop the Photos on my Mac, I get a message that says that "insights are always created for modified pictures.» f you are now leaving, some glimpses of the modified pictures will not download to iCloud photo library and changes won't be visible on other devices or in other applications that Photos can create previews." There is a circle at the top of the photo page which is no doubt for previews being created, but nothing happened there for more than six hours. It's an empty circle. HELP please.

Do you have enough free storage on your Mac to store additional excerpts?

. I've added 264 pictures of Photos on my Mac 6 hours ago

What is the format of these photos? They are JPEG files or another format? You also add videos? Sometimes the videos can not be processed and block the download.

    I would try the following:

    • Export the latest library of Photos to a folder on the desktop.
    • Remove the photo library (and empty the recently deleted album).
    • Restart the Mac.
    • Then add photos to Photos, but open them in the preview to check, if they open correctly, before you import them back. And only a little at a time, if you can identify the photo issues.

Photos can now be treated, or Photos still hang?

  • My calendar retains the events for a month, but when I look back over the past months, only recurring and default events are preserved.  I have a bad memory and I want that all events held on my calendar.  How can I do this?

My calendar keeps events a month, but when I think back several months, only recurring and default events are preserved.  I have a bad memory and want to keep all the events, I put on my calendar for a year.  How can I do this?

Go to settings > Mail, content, timing and you should see an option for synchronization. Make sure that you put in all the events if you want to keep past events calendar

Alternatively you can also use iCloud.com to restore calendar events that may have been accidentally deleted

If you've accidentally deleted your calendars, reminders, or contacts of...

    I hope this helps!

  • I like my tabs down and changed the browser.tabs.onTop to false, but the tabs are always on top. Why?

Go to about: config and changed tabs on top for false but tabs are always on top.

Well, it is a bit of information that would have been helpful to forward. Enough criticism, wouldn't you say?

In any case, it worked, and I now have tabs on the bottom. Thank you.

And somebody had to hit Firefox developers who continue to take away the feature at the side of the head with a 2 x 4. Apparently, they won't have to 'do' another way.

I sent an email (via my yahoo account but using my mail app on my iMac) with an attached video.  Well, the video was apparently too big and is not stuck and are not sent.  It drives me crazy because I can't access my e-mail and it slows everything down while the circle of Rainbow rotation will not stop!  How can I stop it?  I tried the reboot, restart, force, abandonment of post.  I'm afraid to open mail application more because every time I do, the spinner starts and I am doomed!  Help!

Menu messaging-> window-> activity there, you can stop sending the mail.
