Necessary iOS operating system forums?

Yes we have various forums App for iOS and iOS applications, but no forum of using iOS as it is for Mac OS X.

Such topics as they appear:

IOS screen broken in 10.11.4 recording capacity?

And people want to know if features of iOS is broken or implemented differently with a new iOS or they can synchronize to a new iOS before moving on.

This is particularly the case when you have automated messages trying to force you to upgrade to a more recent iOS whenever there is a new version.

Please provide individual iOS forums 1 to 9 in any group you think would help.

    Hello.

I'm having a problem loading and using my Adobe Photoshop CS3. This is the third time that I use this forum. I us a PC. The operating system is "Microsoft Windows 7 Home prem". I recently had to remove from my hard drive and reload the operating system with all the updates and load to the top of my existing software. All my software works except my Photoshop CS3, which I use most. I loaded the software disc and download online. The system of charge very well and activation is complete.  Here are the main things that don't work properly, I have noticed so far. First of all, I can't open my camera RAW (I can with my Lightroom software, but not with my Photoshop software?). So I can't open any of my files of digital camera? Second, I can open a .jpeg file and use the Photoshop software and I can save the changes, but when I turn off my calculated the software doesn't seem to be on my computer. When I go to Windows ' search program and files "software is not located here. When I go to "Uninstall" the software of the foldername is there it is. "Photoshop CS3" but there isn't any size file to it IE 400 MB, while my software "Lightroom" on the 'uninstall' section will have a file for example size 400 MB tied to it. Thirdly, I also have a photosoftware of B + W, which operated in Photoshop; It's "NIK software - Silver Efex Pro" and it is located in the subtitle of 'filter' of Photoshop CS3. I use Silver Efex and all functions are working properly, but I can't save the file, it does not save the changes to save.

    Please can you help me.

    Thank you.

Is it possible to use another recovery disc (not the one that came with my machine) to install a copy of XP and then connect to servers internet for code review and entry of correct product key for my device?
My repairman installed XP OS validated without problem out of the box, and I continued to date for about 2 years without problem.  This product key on my machine exactly matches my hardware profile and unique machine identifier.
Unfortunately, I encountered a corrupted file NTKRNL and the complete refusal of all the way to windows, and THEN only do I condone my repairman for a recovery disk is defective.  They ignore my requests all sending me a disc of functional recovery.  I cannot use drive recovery from a friend to get a XP upwards and running, provided reacondicionador is totally unnecessary.
Is it possible to use a different recovery disk, my friends for his XP machine and then have the MS servers recognize it as my old machine even that I registered at the origin of XP to and get the correct downloads by changing product key what is the cert of Authenticity on the machine?   I find that I use an incorrect product key (for my machine) to get the XP operating system to install, of course.  Have a headache MASSIVE because the material recovery turns out to not work properly now and restful can't be bothered to answer my questions either.
My machine is not currently connected to the internet to try this, (was constantly in the past, but it has been faulty several months now so I killed the internet subscription).  The MS servers know my machine and I have an XP license valid, and I would go to the trouble to subscribe to internet contact again if I knew it would work.  Without a working computer, don't have much reason to keep my internet connection.

There is a difference between Recovery Disk from a PC manufacturer and a Windows XP Installation CD.

Assuming you mean the latter, it is possible - as long as the CD corresponds to the license. In other words, if your license (indicated on your COA) is, say, for Windows XP Home Edition, OEM version and if you are using an OEM Windows XP Home Edition installation CD version, then your COA product key should work. But that's the trap. Everything must match! In addition, there could be complications with some versions of the BRAND. For best results, use a generic OEM version of the CD (aka integrators).
Here again, the System Builders CDs are not easy to find for most people. In this case, you have two other options:
    1. contact the manufacturer. Of course, Windows XP is an old OS, and I imagine that many OEMS no longer support it. :-(
    2. this site:
Finally, many manufacturers offer a recovery partition which is actually a restore hidden on the hard disk partition:

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

According to the page of the product HP for your PC, it came not with preinstalled Win10.  THIS means that you have done the upgrade to Win10.

While Microsoft says there is no risk in the upgrade of Win10, because they allow you to believe that you can always return to your BONES and the original installation program within 30 days, the ugly fact of the matter is that the Win10 GoBack feature turned out to be unreliable - and when she fails, she can let machines in a State corrupted - that does not always happen , but it happens often enough to be a problem and you will get no warning beforehand that he goes to the trash your PC!

If this is not enough, the Win10 upgrade is known, in some cases, corrupt partition recovery stored by the OEM that built the original machine. It's pretty much guarantee that no HP recovery will work.

The problem you mentioned is usually due to one of two basic problems:
    (1) defective hard drive
    (2) damaged/missing bootloader files

As to the first, please follow the instructions in this link to test your hard drive: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00439024

If that confirms that your drive has failed, then you will need to replace it.  Please report back if this is the case.

As for the second, you need access to a PC for this phase of work in order to create the necessary support to fix your PC boot loader.

Once you have that, please download and create the Win10 installation media from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10

Note that when you download and build install media, the default tool corresponding to what is already installed on your PC (as in home for the House, and 64-bit to 64 - bit).  While you CAN change these settings, are NOT. If you do, the media that results will be different and will force you to enter a NEW product code.

Boot from the media that you have created and follow the instructions in this link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanced-startup-options-boot-windows-10-a.html

You will need to go to the Advanced Options screen and click on startup repair.  You will probably need to run Startup Repair three times for him to fix all the boot loader.

Once completed, your PC should start OK.

    Good luck

  • ProBook 450 G2, core-i5: operating system not found

    Hello

I tried to boot from the start menu by pressing F9 while restarting, but no solution met! I also tried to boot from EFI file, but does not because no options that are there found.

The disc is also OK, checked the BIOS settings option.

    Now what to do?

    Spoiler (Highlight to read)

    Asif_Ahmed_Joy

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your post about the operating system not found since the Win10 Upgrade failed and tried to help.

One of the things that happened during the upgrade:

    (1) it mostly completed but failed in the writing of the new boot loader files

    (2) it failed early in the upgrade, screw up your PC as well

Allows to process 1) first - by recreating the bootloader files.

You need access to a PC for this phase of work in order to create the necessary support to fix your PC boot loader.

If this does not work, then we are on option 2) - which is not good news.

What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.

It is a set of DVD and a CD or a USB key, which will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

You can look online for recovery from the paged media related: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update".  If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!
    ---------------------------------------
However, HP customer care is generally not available on weekends, so you will have to wait until Monday to contact them.
    ---------------------------------------

Don't forget to read through the material in the linked thread before attempting the recovery: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00707939

Hi, well seems I'm having an affair with the toshiba.

Should I just update the bios with http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/bios-20090226170008.zip and install Windows Vista Home premium?

    Hey Buddy,

You will find Windows 7 drivers on the official website of Toshiba? If Yes, it s Windows 7 supported and you have no problem to get all the drivers. As you can see on the official website of Toshiba, Windows 7 32-bit is supported:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com

BIOS update is not necessary to install another OS.

    > The problem is I get the blue screen and restarts when I get to step 2
I think that in this case due missing SATA drivers. Just go in the BIOS and switch HDD AHCI mode to the Compatible and test it again.

    What is happen?

Unfortunately, we know absolutely nothing about your system.

This is because the MS Answers forum does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked.  Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

Method 1 - last good known Configuration will not help you (this is not what is LKGC for).
Method 2 - a good start but only if you have already installed XP Recovery Console (extremely unlikely on this planet) or have a genuine XP installation CD bootable (most people don't).

It makes sounds like you need to run chkdsk /r from the XP Recovery Console to repair your (NTFS) file system, but you will have to start on something for this.

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (This includes the plug pulling, buttons power and removing the battery).

These can cause corruption in the file system that must be fixed before you do anything else.

If none of these events occurred (or even if they have not taken place), you must verify the integrity of your file system before anything else (especially "try" things).

Not knowing anything about your system, I would say this:

Use the XP Recovery Console to check the file system on your HARD drive and fix the problems and then try to start your system - this may be all you need to do.  Or, you are welcome to just start trying things that might work.

Boot into the Recovery Console Windows using an XP bootable installation CD.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and don't forget (no support for XP not necessary).

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask toolbar.

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

  • Can I get an installation Win XP Pro Update CD includes SP3? The one I have now is pre - SP2 and reinstalling the operating system takes 4-EVER!

My existing Windows XP Pro installation CD is almost a decade, and it precedes SP2. It's a nightmare, whenever I have to reinstall the operating system as ut takes a day or two to download Microsoft updates. Is it possible to replace my installation CD with a newer version, including a number of post-SP3 updates and SP3?

You do this using a technique called "slipstreaming".  You start with a genuine XP installation CD and add in the necessary service packs and updates.

If your CD-ROM is sp1 or 1A, you can just slipstream sp3.  If you have XP 'or' (pre - sp1), it is more complicated.

There are many websites that explain how to do this.  Google for "slipstream sp3 of xp" or something similar.

This site claims to have a script that will create a slipstreamed XP sp3 and all post-sp3 CD critical updates (description wrongly "sp2").  I the have not used and do not have any information on how easy it is or if she actually does what it says.
