  I need your help on how to implement a configuration of VLAN somehow non-standard.

  The situation is the following:

  The customer wants a WLAN set up for the company and the other for guests. Now, wouldn't that be not so difficult if we'd be using the internal internet connection. But the WRVS4400N will be used to implement wireless LANs / VLAN only.

  The company uses the DHCP protocol on both of their subnets, provided by a Watchguard Firebox XTM510.

  

  Now, what we would do is set up the back door #1 for the connection to the subnet of the client and the #2 for the connection to the optional subnet for the guests. The first problem is that we were not able to configure DHCP forwards to the VLAN2. It works very well on the 1st but the 2nd doesn't allow that either ENabled or disabled, grayed out DHCP.

  To work around the problem that he would be allowed to set up DHCP WRVS4400N providing in itself for the subnet invited, but try that didn't work at all.

  Is it possible? Thanks in advance!

  I try to install 11 GR 2 ASM on a new server SLES11. So far I have correctly installed the database software, but the bad now when it comes to install the grid Infrastructure.
  Partitioning and stamping the discs as ASM disks worked fine, oracleasm listdisks give me my disknames as output.
  
  So far so good - in the setup of the network infrastructure, I chose "install and configure the network for a stand-alone server infrastructure."
  The installation worked, I executed the script root.sh without any problems - but ASMCA configuration failed with the following error:
  
  NEWS: Read: error detection of Oracle Grid Infrastructure. ASMCA needs Oracle Grid Infrastructure Configuration ASM.
  
  Unfortunately I couldn't find much about it on the internet - I'm very stuck here...
  
  Any ideas?

  Hello

  There must be a variable set of environment that should not be there.
  You can connect with your normal user (without the oraenv) and do a 'env' and provide your environment variables.

  I suppose that you have set a parameter of ORA_NLS or something similar, that should not be there.

  Tecra A6 is fully compatible for Windows XP Home edition, so there is no problem to find all the drivers, tools and utilities.

  Tecra A6 is listed in the archives.
  In my opinion there is no sense to install old WXP. It is no longer supported and Win7 works perfectly on this old model Tecra.

  In this old Tecra a SATA connector HARD drive and according to specification supported hard drives up to 120 GB so I think that this SSD can be used in your machine.

  I solved the problem by doing this...

  I have disabled the start secure in the bios, reformat the computer through the partition to restore by using the 'Minimized Image' option, disabled the automatic updates, manually downloaded KB2871389 and KB2917499 and installed, then ran the troubleshooting of Windows Update, and it then allowed me to start the download from the Microsoft Store wihtout 8.1 get updated which were needed for Win8. As I type this 8.1 is the installation. I cross my fingers and hope it works. I have WAY too much time invested is this crazy situation. Microsoft is getting worse day by day.
