  • We need a replacement for Windows Home Server that does not cost $700

We need a replacement for windows home server that does not cost as much as a PC. 2011 is not really available and 2008 has compatibility problems, because it is based on XP and Server 2003. None of the motherboard manufactures will support XP (thanks to MS) and more recent SATA drives do not work in my motherboard more old.

  • HP Pavilion 15 b 140tx: need a replacement for my laptop battery

need a replacement for my drums. Where can I get? TIA

A lot of "compatible" on eBay India spare batteries:

    http://www.eBay.in/ITM/hako-laptop-battery-for-HP-Pavilion-Sleekbook-14-1000-14-2099-695192-001-/322155524629?hash=item4b01f73215:g:56IAAOSw3YNXZEIH

I could not find cells of origin of real on the India sites I know. Compatible batteries are generally reliable and attractive price. I always try to buy real if I new of model laptops but have bought batteries compatible enough frequently for older laptops where the cost is a problem and have generally had a good experience.

  • iPhone screen 5 - replaced battery, black. Video card fried?

My husband iPhone 5 was not load so I replaced taxation port, which didn't work so I replaced the battery. It seems to have worked because when it is plugged in, the computer recognizes that it and he did the sound perception-, but the screen was completely black and by pressing the home screen can that Siri, so we thought that maybe the screen has been fried. I wanted to see if it was the screen that was bad, or if it was the mother board and we should just scrap it and get a new phone, so I swapped the screen with my phone. Now my screen does not work! Neither work. My screen is black but my phone still works, and I can't Siri by pressing the home screen. I guess it was because my husbands phone was always powered (but we couldn't tell) and it fried or something. I fry the video card on the motherboard? Is - something that can be fixed and if so, what parts do I need?

The iphone has no serviceable parts by the user. You have basically destroyed two phones for something which you ought to have apple do.

    Hi mate,

Unfortunately, your machine is able to readers ATA (IDE) with the form factor of 2.5 "(inch)."

What you need is a HARD drive with an IDE connector. Regarding the maximum size of the drive you want to install: the machine must be able to handle more than 100 GB since you have a PM 845 chipset installed.

If you want to buy a new HARD drive, then remember the following things:

    1. you need a car with an IDE connector
    2 card should be 2.5 "
3 limiting the size should be something more than 100 GB

I can't really offer you some brands, but toshiba drives are really good. :)

    Welcome them

  • Replacement for HPE-210y graphics card

    Hello

I posted a question earlier about a possible replacement for a card mother 'death', but it turns out that the motherboard works fine.  Good thing I had checked it by another technician, and it turns out that the problem is the dedicated Radeon HD5450 card.  Now I use my computer via the integrated graphics card.

I searched the Forum but can't find anything specific on the model of my computer.  I don't plan to upgrade the power supply at the present time (300w).  My question is, what is a better alternative for the Radeon HD5450 without upgrading PSU?  In addition, the included graphics card is 512 MB.  Can I use the HD5450 1 GB?  Any brand will be allowed until the GPU is the HD5450?

Sorry, I'm a little rusty on this thing so I ask your indulgence.

    Thanks in advance.

I want to just update just in case anyone else needs help.

Went to BestBuy and scout autour for graphics card.  I saw a VisionTek Radeon HD 5670 with 2 GB of DDR3 memory and check his power.  He said the area "300 Watt or higher recommended power" so I picked up and tried to install it on my machine.  Now my PC runs great!  My performance index Windows have increased from 5.0 to 5.9.  My old WEI is based on the rating that was the lowest graphics.  Now, it is based on the main hard drive. The rated current graphics and graphical games of my system is two 6,7.  So, I guess they will do for most games.

Hope this helps others who face the same problem I did.  I just hope that the power supply is really enough.

  • Power supply for a better video card update! Help!

Thanks for looking at my post. I have a desktop PC HP Pavilion p6610f that runs on an operating system Windows 7 and Athlonll X 4 635 (P) 2.9 GHz (95W) processor. The office itself is really great, but I'm not able to run PC games so intended to update my video card. For this, I needed food uprage. It has 250 W.

So my question is, can I LEVEL MY POWER SUPPLY UNIT? and if I can, that one you offer me to buy. Please give me the link. I was looking for a 600 and more watt power supply.

    Nassik19,

Thank you for coming on the user forums. Given the simple request of a PSU 600 + W, here are some, with comments.

When you look at these, please look at the pictures of the label of power amps for the + 12V / real sustained power.

  • replacement of CQ 71 video card because it gets overheated

Hello, can anyone tell me if its possible to change the video card, because it gets overheated and kills the cell.

    Is it a costly replacement?

I'm living in the Netherlands, inn where can I fix?

    CQ 71 410 ed

No, it is not possible to change the video card. It is part of the motherboard and cannot be changed. Overheating on the motherboard is usually set by opening the laptop and remove, clean and replace the fan/cooler and apply new thermal paste. After the back if you want to help with that.

  • Installation for the new video card will not work. Message "Hardware not detected" what's the problem?

Windows XP Home Edition. Motherboard ASUS P4PE. (Old) NVIDIA geforce4 TI 4400 failed - video card replaced by Prowler Radeon 7000 64 MB agp (Mad Dog). The black screen with the old card and bought a new one. At out the old card and installed a new.  Start the computer and graphics were. With Nvidia drivers installed, display settings could be changed. Device, 'Monitor' Manager showed now default monitor instead of good Sony monitor. Remove all drivers video and rebooted.  Screen "new hardware found" appeared, but I couldn't get the new drivers loaded. I inserted the disc by the manufacturer, but the pilots has not can be detected. Has attempted to launch "Setup" on the disc, but received a material not found error message. Yellow mark points to "Other devices" and the hyphen "VGA Display adapters". No 'monitor' in Device Manager. Tried to turn off the windows firewall and Virus software. I tried windows update. Still have a problem. What's wrong?

The old drivers must remove the first test pilot seeper guru3d.

The nvidia Setup program should find the material but otherwise download the latest version of the software from their Web site.  They must be the pilot, right down to the revision number, not only the model number.

Download and run install Belarc Advisor and look under the device device/display of the video section. What is the video card listed as (maybe not the memory here.)

Seems that it is probably an integrated video card and probably share memory with the system - which means that is likely to be located in the BIOS. If you go into THE system BIOS (before any operating system is loaded) you may be able to see and control this part.

Just look up, the best hypothesis, you set side 32 MB (megabytes) for video memory 1024 MB (megabytes) or 1 GB (gigabyte) memory system.  Two things lead me to this...

MEM: 32 MB and the total number of 992MB RAM.  If you add 32 MB to 992 MB, you get the 1024Mo - or 1 GB or total system RAM.

In any case - this is not a game machine.

  • Im trying to install the Nvidia drivers for my new video card and its saying that my operating system (windows vista 64-bit) is not compatible, which means they are 32-bit drivers, it's fake.

Im trying to install drivers for a Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 on my windows vista 64 bit computer. Every time I have try and start the download, it is said that my driver is not a 64-bit driver, which is false, and that my system is 64 bit, which is true. SO... after I click 'OK', it begins to download only to have another pop-up saying "Setup has detected that the system in use is not windows vista 64 bit" which it is. Basically its contradiction with himself. im confused.

    Im running windows vista 64-bit.

    I just upgraded to a Nvidia 9800GT, to a Nvidia GTX 260.

In frustration, I deleted all the old drivers, but the new will not download.

The first error says that the drivers are not 64-bit.

The second error indicates the operating system is not 64-bit.

We currently have not so the GPU acceleration.

    Help!

You don't need 'official' support to make it work.  He just close PP and remove the file cuda_supported_cards.txt from the PP folder in Program Files.  Then restart PP.  You should now have the option to select the GPU acceleration.

  • I need a replacement for Perma tabs addon

I upgraded to 4 FF. from 3.6.17 is all my addons upgraded ok or I could find satisfactory FF 4 compatible replacements for them.

The only one that I could not do that with is Perma tabs.

This is an extremely important tool for me because every time I open FF there are at least 4 different sites that I go to every time and it's a royal pain to open new tabs for them each time.

Does anyone know of a compatible extension of FF4, that will emulate the function of Perma tabs.

Note - I sent the Director and literally begged to do it please Perma tabs works with FF4.

I'll be very grateful for any suggestion regarding a compatible extension of FF4, that will emulate the function of Perma tabs.

You can use the open dialog box file to install it.

The method to access the open file dialog box depends on whether you have traditional menus or the new style UI with the orange Firefox button.

If you have traditional menus, on the file menu, select open the file. If you have the Firefox button orange instead of the menus, click on the orange button Firefox, select new tab, then open the file.

If you then open the file as it will install the extension.

    There are a lot of discussions about the topic even if you're looking for a little more in this category of the forum then you will always find the same answer;

+ ask the ASP in your country for a Recovery CD/DVD compatible.

I agree with Stanislas and recommend to contact the ASP too...
