  I put t think you will be able to order that authorized the Toshiba drive, service provider because it s all just too old notebook.

  But what you could do is to install the new OS on your laptop and then you could try to install the drivers from the European pilot of Toshiba page.

  I'll tell you right from the beginning that I am a fool.

  I started the Windows 8 for Windows 7 downgrade because my wife did not like the new Microsoft operating system. However, I do not watch list all components and Device Manager information until I started the process. So now I'm stuck.

  Info:

  Laptop: Touchsmart 17e123cl

  OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

  Chipset: AMD A8 - 5550M 2.10 GHz APU

  Graphics card: Radeon HD integrated graphics

  The main problem that I face, is that I have no usable documentation; the laptop was purchased through Staples. Therefore, I don't have the sheet I need to download the appropriate drivers for components that do not work.

  What I tried:

  I tried to go to AMD and download the drivers from the chipset, but all that I continue to be directed is the downloading of catalyst. I have download the latest stable (14.4) and I am still with a controller Bus missing SM, USB controller and an unknown device (not to mention the Realtek NIC drivers are not no longer works).

  Question (s):

  Where I can I see/download the plug of this machine so that I can find and download the correct drivers? In addition, what is this unknown device? And finally, once I have Windows 7 running as it should, how can I recover the lost space of recovery partition Windows 8?

  Hi, I reinstalled my Windows 7 operating system.

  I have already a few drivers in the download section, but I can't find the driver for the FN keys. They all work but without display of the control bar in the upper part of the screen which I don't mind not at all - but with one exception: the Wifi on / off toggle. And that is why I need the software which I hope it will solve the problem.

  Does anyone know what driver it is and tell me the name or post a link to download?

  I got this new laptop for Christmas in Spain and cannot have to connect to my music production studio Yamaha 01 x by using the firewire port internal. The Yamaha has been tested and is fine so you need the port firewire or something in the Satellite which does not communicate via Mlan firewire to the O1x. I'm at my wits end! As the 01 x cost much and has not yet worked!

  Sorry, but on this path it is not easy to say why this is happening. The best solution is to try to plug another external device to the firewire port and test functionality. If there is something wrong, you can do two things:

  -Preinstall the unit using rescue media and check again or
  -Contact the seller and let check the device.

  You can also contact Yamaha support and ask them if there are problems known and similar. I think they have a lot more experience with this then support Toshiba.

  I bought Vista Business Edition and I installed it on the PC.
  I downloaded the vista from the support section drivers and install them.
  Everything worked fine except for the following:
  1 Toshiba power saver is not included in the vista drivers and the old version is not compatible with vista
  2 - Toshiba PC config also the same problem

  Can someone tell me how to get the new version of power saver and pc config for vista.

  TOSHIBA Power Saver for Vista tool is not available. All you can do is to install the package of value-added and other Toshiba designed tools listed on the download page.

  Many power settings are now part of the Vista operating system and Toshiba does not power the day before regarding the Windows XP Edition operating system family.

  It's Mobility Radeon X 2600 (ATI M76M (512 MB).
  With other words: I think that both machines have the same hardware platform and the same motherboard.
