  I have a table adv. Bean & when the page is displayed, I need to display the alternative lines in a different color. In my VO, I added an attribute additional 'color', which even have values like "OraPageStampText" for all the odd records and "OraErrorNameText" for all records. Until now its ok. I got stuck when I try to implement the logic of OADataBoundValueViewObject in my ProcessRequest() method.
  
  I looked into some old discussions and got the below mentioned thread. There they suggested to use the bean line, but I'm afraid there is no such bean in the context of return a line like what we have for a column (OAColumnBean).
  
  I had asked the same thing in this thread Re: can color us lines in a table column . But it get all the answers, so post a new.

  You create the bean of all fields in the advanced table and using the bean setAttributeValue API.

  See the code below,

  In the above example, CompanyCode is one of the advanced table column. FontColor is the attribute to display like what you have created. You need to repeat the same steps for all the fields of the table of the advance.

  Have you tried to Garageband that comes free with your Mac. It is, in itself, and a version of logic.

• Node affinity - a feature with an overload high; need scalable alternative

  We have recently moved to CARS on Exadata. It has a behavior in architecture, I think it's hard to scale, hard to get the right and expensive to maintain, but I hope I'm just something missing.
  
  THE DESIGN OF THE ORACLE
  
  The recommendation of Oracle Consulting is to use "node affinity" as follows:
  
  -DML can cause a lot of cross-node traffic if some of the parallel slaves are on a single node and some are on another.
  
  -To prevent this traffic, pin any particular work of DML by one node. For example, the DML has a degree of parallelism of 16, all parallel slaves would run on, say, node 6, having thus no traffic cross-node.
  
  -Facilitate this by using 'services '. For a service given DML, the service will use a single node.
  
  -Note that this is not that all the DML on the server has to go to a node; just as for any DML session, this session would use a particular service. Thus, for example, if we have 8 knots, we would have 8 services DML with each pinning one by one. Then the DML jobs would use 8 services according to the needs.
  
  In principle, this can always use the complete machine until we send an equal number of jobs in each of the eight nodes or services. So we have full use of the machine and no problem inter-nodes.
  
  THE REALITY
  
  In practice, it actually produces a very bad result. Here's why:
  
  -It is essentially manual load balancing. In other words, he must constantly monitor the load on the nodes to ensure that they are used effectively.
  
  -If a node is get overwhelmed because we're not constantly look or have more value to the company, this node will begin to downgrade or serialize queries (pre 11 g R2) or queue of these statements (11 g R2). Whatever it is, the performance degrades.
  
  -Meanwhile, the other nodes go underused. In other words, even while the overwhelmed node gives disservice to those pinned to it, nodes sitting idle underwhelmed, leaving the CPU power and i/o to get lost.

  -Need the intervention of users of staff or power application - one who sends the DML jobs. They have to connect to the services, and if things are out of balance, they have to change their workflow to connect to various services.
  
  SOLUTIONS POSSIBLE
  
  My thoughts on solutions:
  
  (1) tell me what I'm missing. What this architecture far from terrible? Is there a better way, or I am simply wrong, please let me know.
  
  (2) here is what I think would be the best fix:
  
  -Instead of a service to a single node of pinning, leave the pin to someone one of several nodes, such as for a single request DML, it would be on a node.
  
  It is:
  
  -The service of the DML is configured to use, for example 4 knots.
  
  -A session is created on the service.
  
  -The session shall submit the DML.
  
  -The service will be PIN to one of its 4 nodes, keeping all the parallel slaves on a single node, but it can be one of the four nodes.
  
  -If one of these nodes is very busy, it's good then it can pick up one of the other 3.
  
  This would allow the two valuable points: he would pin them all a DML/session request to a node, but it would not be forced to use a single node.
  
  (3) just a note: it seems that we cannot let just DML fly on all nodes, because it does not seem to slow down certain queries down and a bit.
  
  (4) and we do want to resolve this issue on a case by case basis. I know that Oracle the documentation says you can do some stuff with joins or clusters or similar kinds. This is not suitable. We have 30 000 tables that we manage and hundreds of thousands of requests for information; We cannot go catching up to manage what I can easily see is done at a level of database (if the product can do and if I knew how!).

  PRODB1 and PRODB2 are instance names. The excerpt I mentioned, there is an excerpt the spfile (or pfile).   Microsoft has all the programs like hyperterminal serial data transfer?  I tried every way but hyperterminal is simply not the same thing in Windows 7 although I copied all the files from my XP computer.  I can't save the settings as I have before.  Now, I have to set up the connection each time before to collect my data.  This means more time, my client expects.  PuTTY I tried, but it did not work right.

• Folder in motion - no alternative to do file drag

  It seems to be my day to ask basic questions of LR3.

  I have a complicated folder system I ordered manually for a while and I'm comfortable with it. Without going into too many details, one of the basic premises is that I have a separate space for the work in hand - so that I can see exactly what I have to do and not to forget something (which, at my age, longer I want!). After processing, move the folders in completed processing areas. It has benefits in sharing the photos on physical disks for safety and also helps to copy stuff to my phone if necessary. Everything works OK with me making manual copies using windows.

  LR3, the move operation is possible by drag-and - drop which is OK until you have a structure that is too large for you to have both (folders/drives source and target) visible on the screen at once. At what point in windows, you either open 2 windows to make the two visible or use cut and paste. Given space relatively restricted to the folder structure on the LR3 LHS I think I will need an alternative to drag-and - drop.

  Any suggestions?

  No alternative to move the folder inside Lightroom.

  Two workaround options:

  1. Move the folder in Explorer and the location of the update folder in Lightroom.
  2. Select all the photos in the source folder, right-click the folder in which you want to move the source folder, select create a folder in, select the include selected photos option, and click on create. Finally, delete the now empty source folder.

  Yes, once the initial synchronization is done only changes are synchronized.

  Note the changes are synchronized. It is not only the mail, drafts changed in Thunderbird will synchronize to hotmail, message status will be movements undated a folder etc.

• Photos: How to move pictures opening

  Background

  I have two alternatives in mind. Lightroom or Photos.

  I believe that the development of Lightroom is such that Lightroom DVD no longer exist as standalones, but only as a subscription with a monthly fee.

  Goal

  It is my goal to keep photos sorted by chronological order in projects (terminology of the opening). I rarely work with individual photos. When I do I can crop or use the alternative 'effects' in the aperture settings. No more than that.

  I also want to keep the settings that I made earlier when I move my library to open in the other program.

  Info on my library

  My library contains 85 000 photos. I use not RAW. The photos are jpg

  When I've made an adjustment, I am willing to go against the original. I is not need to return to the original. The created version is welcome to be the new "original".

  The transition to keep all changes, keywords, your albums.

  The projects will be treated differently. Pictures uses 'moments' as the structure of the core library. Each photo and all of its versions will be in one a time, just like the aperture projects.    But while you could move photos between projects in Aperture and name projects, the moments are created automatically.  Photos will automatically collect all the photos taken at the same time in the same place in an instant, and related moments will be a collection. All collections in the same year will be collected in a view of the year.

  This will give you a completely automatic chronological view of your photos.  You can create albums and folders of the albums, as the smart albums.

  Basically, you migrate the Aperture library by dragging the library on the Photos icon in the Dock.

  AFAIK usually Missing/Bad OSB logo error message is displayed if the error was detected in the BIOS or CMOS ROM module

  But according to the BSOD with physical memory error error, I guess that your modules of memory are not correct and that this must be the main reason for you questions.

  Of course I could be wrong also, and perhaps the whole issue is related to the faulty motherboard but in the first step, you should check your modules of memory installed.

  Hope you will get rid of these questions after a replacement memory.

• Bluetooth is not recognized on Satellite Pro A100

  I have a Satellite Pro A100 828 running Win XP Pro.

  He is supposed to have integrated bluetooth but when I install the bluetooth stack, a message appears saying peripheral usb has malfunctioned and is not recognized by windows.

  In Device Manager, it is listed as an unknown device.
  I tried different versions of the bluetooth stack, but the same message still appears.

• H8-1234 10 GB of memory - 4 GB physical reserved?

  Brand new H8-1234 came with 10 GB installed. Windows 7 64-bit.

  However, only 5.9 is usable.

  Resource monitor shows MS 4138MB is material reserved.

  This machine came with a discrete video card.

  Can someone explain why 4 GB is not available?

  Did you to additions of material your PC?  Please, details on the hardware configuration of your PC. The mailing list should have this information.

  The amount of memory equipment reserve existed before the changes have been made to your PC?

  I very little memory assigned to the reserve of material on my 64 bit Windows 7 system.  If your PC is under warranty, then you can contact HP technical support.   Is the PC a PC refurbished?

  Start in safe mode and check your results.  You can use the Windows-> resource monitor task manager, then check the amount of available memory. Watch to see how much memory is allocated to the day before. Memory is a data cache and code that is not actively used, but is available if needed. Alternatively, you can check the amount of memory assigned to the reserve of equipment then in safe mode.

  I have a 64 bit of Windows 7 with 12 GB installed system and 5.5 GB is used for standby after start upward.  See the image below.

  

  Other things to check:

  Open the RUN and enter the following command: MSCONFIG

  Then click on start-> Advanced Options-> maximum memory box should be disabled with the number to be processors uncontrolled box.

  RAMmaptoolshould provide you with detailed allocation of memory for your PC.   Check out thisposton how to use and interpret the results.

  Another thing to check by ensuring that the bars of memory DIMMS are installed in the correct locations. Review this thread and suggestions.

  There is really no way to tell how much damage you did on your hard drive...

  It is not found means that something might have been corrupted, ranging from something as simple as the initialization information for the partition boot record to almost everything on the disc!

  Your best bet for data recovery now is to do the following:
  (1) remove the hard drive from the PC
  (2) buy a USB-to-Hard kit adapter driver
  (3) download and install this utility on a working PC: http://www.majorgeeks.com/news/story/recover_data_in_3_steps_with_minitool_power_data_recovery_free_edition.html
  (4) connect the old drive to the work PC
  (5) run the data recovery utility to see what can be salvaged from the old drive.
