  Given the poor performance of Vista, I decided to install XP on this machine. I installed all the drivers (from the Toshiba Site) available for my laptop XP, everything is a work, * but HDMI Out does not work *.

  Only, I reformatted my laptop, using a normal Windows XP Professional CD. I just wanted to initially put this back to factory settings, but the laptop came with no CD and I t wasn't aware of how to do it, so I thought it would be just faster to reformat normally.

  Windows works fine and I managed to find the drivers for the sound chip and the graphics chip but I can't get the drivers for the motherboard and wireless modem. Could someone show me where to look all of this via a link or something please? Or if not, tell me how I can restore the settings to factory with no CD.

  The PSMAAL series is unclear to me. I guess you mean the Satellite M100 PSMAIE.

  From my personal experience, the FN keys does not work because the BIOS does not support.
  Toshiba European page offers two versions of the BIOS.
  One for Vista and one for XP. Seems that the 2.8 version supports only the XP and not Vista.

  So if you have installed the XP you must update the BIOS to the correct version to get all functions running.
  In addition, please follow the installation instructions located on the driver page.

  Please install also all MS QFEs. This is very important! And upgrade the XP to the last State.

  Please be careful for recovery. I imagine that this laptop comes with HARD drive recovery and remove Vista create recovery DVDs. DO NOT FORGET!
