  When I bought it was insalled windows vista.
  for some reason, I prefer windows xp. so I formatted my laptop, insalled sucesfully xp operating system but there are no drivers.

  When I asked the seller why my laptop doesen't have driver CD for his equipment, he told me that I shouldn't be this becouse download drivers on the internet is a peace of cake.

  Can I get some help here because I thing I do something wrong.
  The question is ' t I find no driver in referring to my Satellite A100-784 in the web.

  The issue is that I can't find the product atall...
  looking forward for your reply because I need to address it quickly. It is for professional use.

  The Toshiba driver page offers drivers for Satellite A100 series and not for simple models like A100-784.
  Satellite A100-784 seems to be a part of the series PSAANE.
  Therefore, look for this number in the form of driver download!

  Don t look at the Toshiba site us but on the European driver from Toshiba site.
  This laptop is really designed for the European market and therefore the drivers from the US site could not work as it should.

  Check the different Satellite A100 and Equium A100 series and drivers only.

  I'm looking to ditch vista and put xp on this laptop, but I am afraid to completely destroy incase I can't readers for the disk sata hard.

  Can someone point me in the right direction to get the sata drivers? I intend to put xp pro on the laptop.

  Usually all SATA drivers should be included in the Microsoft XP operating system and so it should not be necessary to use the SATA drivers.

  But if you will not be able to install XP on your laptop, I recommend first, including Service Pack 2 for the XP CD.

  Just FYI; the RAID, SATA drivers can be downloaded from the Intel page. Just search if you need!

  I can't tell what you need, but I can give you and proposal what you have to do! ;)

  You have access to the European driver of Toshiba page;

  Then you should choose you notebook series. Then select all drivers and QFE patches and download it. Then check the installation manual and install just like mentioned in this txt file!

  Being a Novice in computer science I need help with to download drivers for my computer. By using the Device Manager I found that I have no drivers for video controller (VGA Compatible), SM Bus controller, video controller, Modem device on high definition Audio Bus & Ethernet Controller.

  And downloaded mainly all the drivers on the page, but it shows lack drivers in Device Manager.

  I checked the link in your post above and found a txt file called installation instructions.
  Please follow the guidance and the order of installation line in this document.

  You shouldn't t not see yellow exclamation or pilots missing in Device Manager if you will install all of the drivers mentioned in the installation instructions.

  I just finished a reconstruction of the XP operating system

  The driver I have download the site has no setup.exe file, it seems to have only one file PROUnstl.exe which uninstalls the driver.

  I don't see a 'Network' called lan - 20071009151457.zip driver are the other wireless network drivers.

  Can someone provide me with the correct driver or download loaction.

  You founded and downloaded the correct driver. You will find all the drivers on the Toshiba site:
  http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

  To install a driver, you don't need an .exe file. Look in Device Manager and right-click on the network map, now choose put updated driver.
  Then you can install the driver.

  I'm hoping that someone ca help me.

  I'm doing a new installation of vista 32-bit, but the computer does not display my hardrive. I've been to the site of intel and tried to install a good pilot "storage manager", which relates to the chip, which I think is an express 945gm... the computer is not recognizing any drivers. I went to the download area of toshiba it seems to have all the drivers except those who will help me to install my drives hard sata.

  I'm really frustrated, but do not want to give up. I want to just vista recognize the drive hard when I do a new installation.

  Man, it's really weird. Windows Vista doesn´t need the SATA drivers since they are already integrated into the installation disc.

  I mean are you really sure, you´re using a Windows Vista installation disc? Moreover, since the doesn´t of disc Vista need all sata, Toshiba doesn´t drivers offer all SATA drivers on their driver download page.

  Double check everything and make sure that you have you´re through a genuine Vista installation disc.
  May I ask what operating system shipped with your machine? XP or Vista?
