  As you probably know the LCD and mobile motherboards is one of the most expensive parts. The new parts cost a small fortune
  I studied a bit on the net and found this site with 15 compatible screens for a Sat A10.

  The new view costs about $ 325... so it s really not a cheap part!

  I have reinstall my Toshiba Satellite A10 S203. (Model number: PSA10E-018EZ-NO)
  Problems is that I can't find the drivers on the own Toshiba driver download page. (A10-S203 is not listed)

  I guess that's the Australian series for Toshiba laptop.
  Satellite A660/07U seems to be belongs to the series of PSAW3A-07U00R.
  Here is a download page:

  But there is no Win XP drivers listed for this series.
  So I guess you will need to search for and collect the drivers of your own hands.

  When I bought it was insalled windows vista.
  for some reason, I prefer windows xp. so I formatted my laptop, insalled sucesfully xp operating system but there are no drivers.

  When I asked the seller why my laptop doesen't have driver CD for his equipment, he told me that I shouldn't be this becouse download drivers on the internet is a peace of cake.

  Can I get some help here because I thing I do something wrong.
  The question is ' t I find no driver in referring to my Satellite A100-784 in the web.

  The Toshiba driver page offers drivers for Satellite A100 series and not for simple models like A100-784.
  Satellite A100-784 seems to be a part of the series PSAANE.
  Therefore, look for this number in the form of driver download!

  However, I checked this page of the Toshiba driver and found only a driver of sound for this camera!
  But not don t worry!
  The A100 series mainly come with the same hardware devices and drivers from other laptops A100 could be compatible and can run on your device.

  At the present time for computers laptops European drivers of Windows XP Home edition are not available. I checked the support page and there is no drivers. Only thing you can do is to try to find drivers Windows XP Home edition on the support page equipment manufacturers.

  I recommend you wait a bit. I A200 and still wait for drivers of Windows XP Home edition.

  I want to upgrade the memory on my old laptop, I found the manual and read a bit into it.
  It apparently uses DDR PC2100 (266 Mhz) features of two memory slots and only allows that up to 512 mb modules.
  Is it possible to use modules bigger or faster.
  I hope that the low speed and size has something to do with the time that it was produced before more large modules have been as prevalent as they are today.
  Also how many pins is there on the modules, I guess that DDR modules for laptops are different from those of desktop computers.

  Chipset supports up to 1 GB of RAM.

  Fastest modules (PC2700 or PC3200) should not be a problem, but I think that they will not work with the speed of the PC2100.

  Akuma is right. Old laptop models are not supported in Vista. Maybe you will be able to end of some googling arround drivers but toshiba doesn't offer any specific tool of toshiba or utility for this model of laptop.

  You have already installed Vista? What it looks like in Device Manager?
