Need help choosing correct High Gain Antennas

Hi all

I was wondering if someone could please offer me assistance in the choice of the correct high gain antennas for my Wireless Linksys WAP54G access point.  I recently ordered a set of Amazon, and even if the product description says that they would, they do not have.  The product said that it was a type of connection RP - TNC, but it wouldn't fit my WAP54G.  Could you get it someone please let me know what type of connector most recent WAP54G access point?  I really need to get some antennas ordered as soon as possible.

Here is a link to the antennas I ordered on Amazon, which has not worked for me:

http://www.Amazon.com/9dB-Linksys-15-booster-antenna/DP/B0009U736A/ref=cm_cr-Mr-title

Although I wish I had the real Linksys brand antennas, they are much too expensive.  If you can point me in the right direction, or maybe even send me a link directly to the product page of what I need to order, which would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for your help, and I wish everyone a great holiday of Thanksgiving.

See you soon,.

~ Marty

The antenna for the WAP54G and WRT54G the connector are of type RP - TNC

Do you have any RP-TNC-M or RP-TNC-F

The connector of the antenna on the WAP54G is M, so the antenna must be F

  • need help to correct the records in a table

    Hi all

    I loaded a content file in a single table with a single column, the file is to have the data as below
    Record 1.  ABC|AVC1|1234|
                   xyz|abc
    Record 2.  ABC1|AVC1|12334|
                   xyz
                   |ABC
    Record 3. ABC1|AVC1|12334|xyz|ABC
    I need to correct the data in the table above, the 3 reviews. is the correct format I need record1 and record2 look like.

    Note Record1... 3. the text above, I've added. (it's just a real example table a 5million rec)

    Can any of you help me correct this file using plsql query or sql by creating another table which has corrected data

    Logical I think is

    All records must have 4 delimiter if less then wear the next record in the line to the previous line for example

    Record 1. ABC | AVC1 | 1234 | XYZ | ABC

    Even if there is no delimiter on line then also make the next record in the line to the previous line for example

    Record 2. ABC1. AVC1 | 12334 | XYZ
    | ABC

    Like wise cleaning the table and placing it in a new table, to export.

    Oracle version I have is 10g

    This is because you have not changed the subquery factoring section (aka the WITH clause) properly (I suggest that you are looking for this - it's a very useful piece of syntax to have under your belt). You must change as follows:

    with res as (select rn,
                        txt,
                        ceil(sum(length(txt) - length(replace(txt, '|'))) over (order by rn)/4) grp
                 from t), -- assuming that your table is called t.
       final as (select replace(sys_connect_by_path(txt, '$'), '$') full_txt,
                        level
                 from   res
                 WHERE CONNECT_BY_ISLEAF = 1
                 connect by grp = prior grp
                 and        rn = prior rn + 1)
    select case when length(full_txt) - length(replace(full_txt, '|')) = 4 then full_txt end full_txt
    from   final
    where  case when length(full_txt) - length(replace(full_txt, '|')) = 4 then full_txt end is not null;

    ETA: where 4 appears in my query, you will need to change the number of pipes in your line.
    ETA2: and I suspect that you need to change the 5 in the BluShadow query to 1 + the number of pipes in your line.

  • Need help with ordering high voltage

    Hello

    NI PCIe-6341 card is already installed. And I want to order a power supply voltage (CZE1000R) to generate the high voltage (DC). The goal is to fully control the high voltage. For example, the voltage can chang from zero to 30 kV in 5 or 10 seconds and be stable to 30 kV to 30 minutes and then go down smoothly at 20 kV in 5 minutes and finally back to zero. Could someone help me with this task? Thank you.

    Hi, apok,

    I used the 'panels-test' on 'measurement and automation explorer. And I see signals on an oscilloscope.

    Thank your for your help.

    But when I try to test the "tension cntrl.vi" it has not worked.

    On the manual, he said:

    "

    Programming with external voltage:

    Disconnect between TB1-2 and TB1 - 3 riders. Connect signal 0 - 10V between TB1-3 and TB1-6 (common)".

    This means that I need to plug TB1 - 3 and TB1 - 6 and out of the acronym to TB1-3?

  • Need help return correct name of a created the code clip

    Hello. I'm a n00b AS3 with fortunately we a simple question I am designing a simple flash game. Copy the following code creates an array of video clips and the bsigns a photo for each of them. It is a map screen. What I need, it is when I click on one of the created movie clips, I need to return either the index of the item in the table or the name of the clip. Basically everything that I can use to differentiate them in the code. Here is the code:

    import flash.display.MovieClip;
    var MapLoader:Array = new Array();
    var strJPGext:String = ".jpg";
    var intContTileNumber:int;
    var strContTilePath:String;
    var intDistStartX:int = 63;
    var intDistStartY:int = 64;
    var intDistMultiplyY:int = 0;
    var intDistMultiplyX:int = 0;
    var intDistCount:int = 0;
    var MapSquare:Array = new Array();

    for (var i: int = 0; i < 729; i ++)
    {
    var MapSquare:MovieClip = new MovieClip();
    MapSquare.push (new MovieClip());
    MapSquare [i] .x = intDistStartX + (intDistMultiplyX * 30);
    MapSquare [i] there = intDistStartY + (intDistMultiplyY * 30);
    MapSquare [i] .name = "MapSquare" + i;
    addChild (MapSquare [i]);
    intContTileNumber = i;
    MapLoader.push (new Loader);
    strContTilePath = intContTileNumber + strJPGext;
    MapLoader [i] .load (new URLRequest (strContTilePath));
    MapSquare [i] .addChild (MapLoader [i]);

    intDistCount ++;
    intDistMultiplyX ++;

    If {(intDistCount > 26)
    intDistCount = 0;
    intDistMultiplyX = 0;
    intDistMultiplyY ++;
    }

    }

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, reportClick);
    function reportClick(event:MouseEvent):void
    {
    trace ("name of the movieClip Instance =" + event.target.name);
    }

    Now, it all works very well, it creates the plan and assigns the correct image and places them in the good X, position Y and this is the good 27 x 27 squares grid. The problem is with the name, when I click on the clip, it returns "Instance2" or "Instance5" or something else. It starts by 2 and then increases each number by 3 for each clip, so the first is 2, then 5, then 8 and so on. This is not good. I need to return the name I have given
    . If I put the code in trace(MapSquare[1]) it will return the name 'MapSquare1' so I know has been assigned the name, but it is not returning.

    Please help

    Thank you

    -Red

    Add event listeners just like anything else you set in the loop for...

    MapSquare [i] .addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, reportClick);

    They can all use the same event handler function, so there is no problem.

  • Need help choosing system with PP CS4

    I am looking to upgrade my system... and like most, I have limits on what I have available. My current system simply takes long and cannot handle HD playback. It would be great if someone could help me to choose, tell me if you work or just give up and deal with what I got up to a total redesign is possible.

    My software is PP cs4 and the projects that I will be working on will include capturing SD and HD, but mostly HD. I'll edit and export to tape SD DV and DVD a few projects will require export in HD. Why I will not go in, I'm going to need to go with a DELL system and can only scrape up to about $1,500.

    With that... So here's what I'm looking at:

    PROCESSORSIntel® Core™ i7 - 920 processor (8 MB L3 Cache, 2.66 GHz)

    Operating systemGenuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, English

    MEMORY9 GB DDR3 SDRAM memory to 1 066 MHz - 6 DIMMs

    HARD DRIVE750 GB SATA 7200 RPM hard drive
    or opt for the 1 TB RAID 0 performance (2-500GB SATA)

    I also have a couple externa 1 GB hard drives

    VIDEO CARDATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB DDR3

    or go for ATi Radeon HD 5770 1 GB GDDR5

    or ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5
    or nVidia GeForce GTS 240 1024Mo

    Well that's what I look at you and it comes in the budget... it will get the job done or loss of time and $? or am I missing something?

    I appreciate any input... I can usually make things look, but have little knowledge of the gear.

    Thank you

    John

    John, you can get drives of 1 to less than $100 from Newegg. Dell robs you blind on these things. That of why I specifically mentioned Newegg or similar. It will save a lot of money to take somewhere else and install it yourself.

  • need help choosing a graphics card

    Hi I have a pavilion A1240N hp

    Specifications of the PC: sound Windows 8

    with a processor dual core AMD Athlon 64 X 2 4200 +, 2000 Mhz, 2 logical processors

    I have upgraded to 4 GB of ram

    and all I want now is what can I do to go faster when it comes to playing games like minecraft, modern warfare.

    help a graphics card and if so what kind my motherboard supports?

    Hello

    Yes, for the games, a video REHELV is a must. Based on the following information, you can use a PCIe Express x 16 graphic card

    http://h10010.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&docName=c00714578

    You also need a better diet for a more powerful card. The following said nothing, not even of the same characteristics:

    I need to replace my power supply on my HP Pavilion a1000.  The vehicle currently has the original (A Bestec model: ATX-300-12Z COR.)  HP P/N is 5188-2625.

    I found one on ebay that has the same numbers, but instead of the CDR, he told RFI.  I don't really know what that means.  The list is below.  Will this work?  If this isn't the case, could you give me a link that would work?

    Hello

    Yes, the power supply will be ok. It is a desktop computer, so you don't have to use exactly the same power supply. It can be even more powerful, but be sure there is all compatible connectors. It seems that the version of the CDR is only 300W and the DDR 400 w. The connectors are the same...

  • Need help choosing a new computer to run After Effects

    Hi all

    I waited to buy a desktop computer until I could set up something really good, but running After Effects on my laptop is not just cut it.  It slows down everything and when you try to use the feature plays only 6 frames per second. That being said, I need something that will give me better performance than my laptop but don't break the Bank.  (That way I can still move to a more desirable machine.)  I'm a noob when it comes to shopping for computers that go beyond the disk space and wifi, so I asked around, but honestly I'm more often conflicting opinions . I said the most important GPU, I said GPU is not serious at all.  It goes the same for the CPU.  I was also told that it's okay if I get something with integrated graphics on dedicated, etc.. This is where I hope you guys can help, since you actually understand the program I run.

    I would buy something already built, so I don't have to worry about what anyone screwing.  I've been thinking to get a desktop computer cheap off of ebay (as long as it will work better than my laptop) and then adding on it, but I don't know if it's the wiser decision.  All desktop computers can still be improved or they hit a point where they are worthless?

    Here are the specifications of my laptop:

    Windows 10 home

    Intel core i3 cpu M380 @ 2.53 GHZ

    4 GB of ram (3.80 GB usable)

    64 bit

    1 TB HARD disk drive

    Intel HD (internal) graphics with a total of 1696 MB graphic memory and 64 MB dedicated video memory

    Is there something out there that would be more fluid than my laptop, but for cheap AE?  Here are a few I've been Watch: Dell Optiplex 960 (3 GHz Quad Core Q9650 / 4 GB RAM / 160GB HDD)

    IBM Thinkcentre M58 PC Windows 7 Pro Desktop Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz/8 GB / 250 GB HD with intergrated graphics

    A generation custom (with integrated graphics), including: Card mother Z87 - G41 / 8 GB RAM FURY HYPER / Gear solid 400w PSU / LG DVD PLAYER / INTEL PROCESSOR (3.2GHZ) G3258 / 240GB Sandisk Ultra II SSD / MSI cases

    And this one: AMD 4.2 Ghz Quad Core 8 GB RAM 1 TB Hdd/integre graphic.

    Thank you in advance for your help!

    For AE the only things that really affect performance are the cores, clock speed and memory.

    We must look at least an i7 quad core systems with hyper threading (6 or 8 core is much better, but more expensive) and at least 32 GB of memory. You must also at least two SSD, one for the OS, one media and projects. The video card is completely irrelevant for AE, any card $ 30 is sufficient.

  • Need help-confused on higher margin with div in div sidebar space

    Hello

    I tried for hours to understand what affects the margin from the top right div on the page #first_ad contained in #sidebar2. Right now I have this nav first div with top of 10px which looks like 30 in IE7 and 40px in iIE8 (chrome, firefox are very good). I have tried 0 margin on labels p and h, and other things for the Lord alone knows what else. I can't see what it affects.

    If I could understand that it would be a great help because I seem to go in this lot with the placement of a div in a sidebar. I start by using dreamweaver CS4 as my base models.

    Hello

    You have a fix CSS for IE in the 'index3.html' source file and it puts ' padding-top: 30px;' for sidebar1″ and sidebar2. From there comes the extra space.

    Check it out on line 15 of the source file.

  • New generation. Need help choosing a GPU

    New system is based on:

    I7 5960 x

    32 GB of ram

    SSD 240 GB for cache (AE and PremierePro)

    2 x 1 TR hard drives in RAID 0

    3 rpm hard drive for storage

    I am deciding what GPU to get. My budget is $ 400. GTX 970 seems a good choice, but I don't know if there is really no difference in performance between 970 and cheaper nVidia GPU, AE and creation are mostly powered CPU.

    It should be noted I'll buy the item 3D v2 for AE as well.

    Any advice would be much appreciated.

    AE is for most CPU power but first and SOUL use the GPU for many almost non-stop processes. The GPU has important implications for the first and SOUL. I suggest the 970GTX at this point, especially since it is in your budget.

    I use Oracle 10.2.0.4 on Win 2008 R2. We have Archive mode and no catalog rman is used. I have a requirement where I have to reproduce prod weaned on a regular basis to the development server.
    I created the batch a few files so that the entire process automatically. Stored all the scripts in Directory of c:\script\clone\. +.

    I took the backup copy of the password and spfile Server prod and copied on the development at the same server.

    Here are the scripts that I have performed in the order:

    * 1_clone.bat*

    Set ORACLE_SID = orcl
    sqlplus / as sysdba @c:\script\clone\2_test.bat

    * 2_test.bat*

    immediate stop
    startup nomount
    rman target sys/oracle@live nocatalog auxiliary host / @c:\script\clone\3_rman.rcv

    * 3_rman. RRS *.
    Run {}
    allot of drive type d1 track auxiliary;
    double-target database ORCL NOFILENAMECHECK;
    }
    output

    When the duplication process in about in the end, I get error below:

    content of script memory:
    {
    clone of judgment;
    startup nomount clone;
    }
    execution of Script memory

    RMAN-03015: an error has occurred in the memory stored script script
    RMAN-06136: the auxiliary database Oracle error: ORA-01013: user has requested the cancellation of the current operation

    Complete recovery manager

    SQL >

    When I press exit, this window closes and I can run the alter database open resetlogs; -command with a new sql command prompt. I check online and some suggest that there could be a window with system user. Please suggest changes in the script.

    Best regards

    Hello;

    Have another session with the user of the system will cause rman raise this error. For example another session is used to start the database in nomount is always active mode.

    During the cloning process the rman session must be exclusively connected to the instance auxiliary (no other sessions are allowed).

    Double post

    request for assistance with rman cloning script

    Best regards

  • VPN requirements, need help in selecting the right technology

    I need help choosing correct vpn technology to meet my needs.

    I have a 2801 router I will use for vpn sessions. I use 871 routers of the series for remote clients. The requirements that make it difficult for me to determine how to configure are:

    The IP WAN routers 871 will be dynamic, so I can't use lan to lan standard IPSEC configuration. The solution must allow the connection of any address.

    Remote sites will also have to pass traffic between remote sites. I need to do this, because this VPN will be used for IP phones and I want clients on remote sites to be able to call each other.

    Some of the solutions I've seen require the remote user enter a user name and password of the CLI on their 871 to bring up the tunnel. If it's possible I don't want it's an addiction.

    I am familiar with cisco routers and can usually do a config works if provided an example, but I don't know enough about the various VPN options to choose the right solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    If you need a spoke-to-spoke vpn connection as well, you can try DMVPN.
