    How Windows Defender is on this problem?

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Data recovery:
    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.
    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.
    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:
    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html
    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

    Download the Vista software from the link above.

    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.

    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

    I have a laptop that I had to change the HARD drive due to a complete failure.  I had a Windows 7 key I know has been good and have never used, purchased as part of a package of pc 3.   Now the installation tells me that this is not a valid key.  I paid almost $150.00 for this set of 3 installs for Windows 7, about 5 years ago.

    The old HDD is dead, I tried to connect with a USB key and nothing.   The laptop was working fine with WIndows 10, then the portable HARD drive is simply dead.  I need help with a new key, or at least the one I have to work.  The new drive HARD won't have not all partitions or any attached former windows key.  I can't get past the check of Windows screen.

  • need help with windows update failures

    I'm really becoming disillusioned and anrgy. In the last 5 weeks or so I installed Windows 7 on at least 11 PCs,... and in all cases, bar 1, I am facing the same problem. I use the Start button, windows update to check for updates after a new installation, sometimes in a few seconds, I get the red error message, other times the normal practice of verification of updates begins. Invariably, nothing happens except the window Windows Update appears to 'disappear' or forget it works, so I start it again, wait forever and finally get the Red writes the error message. I tried the windows online and offline "Fixit and the right sequence is repeated continuously." Yesterday morning at 04:00 [if there are 36 hours] I completed a new installation, over the next 24 hours, I have to have rebooted and retried the windows update at least 4 times. I also tried a couple of different ' FixIt. This morning, becoming almost ready to... Yet once, I tried to use the updates. He did what he normally does... the scan, check... check... NOPE! nothing for you. So I tried the specific 'fixit' MicrosoftFixit.wu.LB.7235772074748435.1.1.Run it tooks ages and ages to complete... but once it was over, no changes because no errors not found. Immediately, I opened windows update via the Start button, click on check for updates... and immediately got written red error with updates. [Screenshots have been taken, timestamped in the seconds between them showing the previous references].

    Can someone help me? Why is - this all of a sudden becomes a common problem? Each PC I put back nine have different configurations, my wireless network has no problem with updates from the manufacturer's websites... SO, WHY THIS ISSUE FROM MICROSOFT?

    It is expected by M$, we must now jump through hoops to clean install.

    Hello

    Question: Error code 10 on Teredo Tunneling pseudo-interface.

    Teredo is a tunneling protocol designed independent platform to provide IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) connectivity to nodes that are in IPv4 networks. Compared to other similar protocols its particularity is that it is able to fulfil its function even behind network address translation (NAT) devices.

    The Code 10 error code is generated when the Device Manager does not enough information or error that spread upwards by device drivers is not recognized by Device Manager. In addition, this error may occur if one of the pilots who needs the unit does not start. If multiple drivers are used by a particular device, it can be difficult to determine which failed.

    Check the steps from the link below and see if the error code 10 disappears.

  • Need help with Windows Live Mail password

    Microsoft support told me that the only way to get help with my last password is by e-mail or forums and I recorded many positions and got no response.  I gave them all of my personal info to my email account and no response. I called in and no response.  Should I give up on this account?  I got it for more than three years and many court and legal emails were sent there I need.  Please notify.

    I guess that you have a Live account Windows that you do not manage to connect to for various reasons.  Can clarify you what the case, and you can specify that you forgot your password or your user name?

    If you talk about this type of Forums (below) then they are very busy, but eventually you should get a response from Microsoft.  If the problem is that I'm guessing that this is so only Microsoft can fix the problem for you, posters not Microsoft, as we find in this Forum won't be able to do much for you other than to advice on a course of action to follow.

    Reset your password

    If I remember the way Microsoft handle such problems with the "lockout", it's that they contact you by E-mail (an address that you can still access) and either reset your password or clear the problem after having proved to their satisfaction that you are the owner of the blocked account.  The process is a lot easier if you have (in the setup) provided them with another email address, or installed (and remember) secret an answer to the Question.

    Unfortunately, the whole process may fail and you may forever lose this account.  If that were the case, you should start now to try to get duplicates of important emails from the original sender.

  • Need help with Windows 7 drivers for Radeon HD 7670 m on a preinstalled Windows Pavilion g6-2300sy 8

    Hey, I recently bought a HP Pavilion g6-2300sy with Windows preinstalled 8 and decided to install Windows 7 on it instead, as I'm rates more familiar with it. Now I seem to be running into issues with the Radeon HD 7670 m laptop graphics card, since I can't find a driver that works for her. I tried several generic drivers AMD HD 7000 series, but none of them is not working - Windows continues to give the error code 43.

    How can I fix without going back to Windows 8? Any help would be really appreciated.

    Hello:

    For the g6-2300sy, use the W7 x 64 drivers and software for this model:

    For the graphics, you install only the AMD graphics driver. Do NOT install the Intel driver.  The AMD driver has the graphics for two video cards.

Finally, when this was done, I opened Windows DVD Maker and clicked on add items... went to my file and put my film recorded in the creation of DVD.  I used also changed the Menu template to that for shows (it is red and black and has lights and cameras as a staging.  I thought everything was going along fine until I played the disc engraved on my Smart TV DVD player.  For some reason when I click on the stages (or chapters) to see the performance under this button, it starts to play the dvd in a few seconds or a few minutes in some cases in the performance... I've lost countless blank DVDs not to mention hours and hours of time... and I'm so frustrated... I'm ready to SCREEEAAMMM!  Also some of the performances were not even under one of the buttons or frames... in other words you could not use the arrow keys to locate some of them to click it and find out.  Yet, when I went back and pressed the 'Play' button, I could fast forward through the entire movie and find performances that seem to be missing the scenes/buttons.  Any help or advice before I blow a bridge! ???

    ===============================================
    First of all a question... did you you save the project in a video such as format
    . WMV or. MP4? Or have you just of WLMP project folder?

    I suspect that DVD Maker is to see your movie in one file
    and he has no idea where are your scenes. More than likely it is
    creation of scenes on his own in arbitrary places.

    In order for DVD Maker correctly, identify individual scenes
    each stage must be registered as an individual video clip, then
    the collection of video clips can be imported and each of them must
    become an individual scene.  DVD Maker is supposed to accept
    up to 18 scenes.

    Just an experience you can import your new original
    video clips in DVD Maker and see if it works properly. If
    It does what you want... change and re-record your clips one video
    both will be the fix.

    Good luck...

    Recently, Adobe Flash installed an icon in my system preferences and when I click the icon it has several tabs.  It allows updates automatically check.  It is said it will install the latest version of Flash without having to remove the previous version, but I've never said that a newer version is available, unless I have click "check now".  Although "Check updates automatically" is checked, I don't know where he tells me a newer version is available.  In addition, there was 5 "new versions" available since this icon has been installed in the system Prefeences, I only found on newer versions when I clicked on "check now".  If I read that with this new way to install the Mac final version of Flash requires not me to uninstall the previous version of Flash how we installed the latest version of Flash?  Is it in an email?

    Because it tells me that there is a newer version of Flash unless I click on "Check now" must still do the way I used to install the latest version of flash?  (The path in front of this icon was added to the system preferences)?

    I would appreciate help with update Flash to the latest version.  I used to uninstall the old version, restart the browser and download the latest version and install it.  He always worked find, but that was before there was an Adobe icon in my system preferences.

  • Need help with windows update please!

    Tried for months now to get windows update to work properly. I still see a message pop up in my lower toolbar, that says: windows cannot verify the updates, with a red x. I'll try to update manually and it shows 0% all the time. When I go and check to see if there have been updated, it will show a little from time to time, who have downloaded successfully, but believe that is made during a unrolled task he is set to make only 1 or two from time to time will show. I don't know what else to do. It's Windows Vista. Help, please... My Windows defender seems to fine day. Help, please... Thank you...

    Hello

    I guess that part of the question could be a driver which is really old or similar should not be loaded.

    This exit Windows updates on (after you have access) and stop the updates of the driver to load.

    ---------------------------------------------------

    You can use the solutions in this KB - 3 methods and I listed a little help for them below

    The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the computer restarts when you try to
    install an update in Windows Vista

    Method 1: Start Windows Vista with the Windows installation media and use the repair feature

    You can also do a safe mode startup repair to access the Recovery Options If you have them available
    or use the DVD as described above.

    This tells you how to access the System Recovery Options

    You can also do a restore of the system of starting with a Vista disk.

    Method 3: Rename the Pending.xml file, and then change the registry (this method is part of the advanced troubleshooting)

    See article below for that.

    You can use this method on the updates that have this problem.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/949358

    Hide the update (click right - HIDE in the updates of Windows) and go to the Microsoft Download Center to download
    and install it.

  • Hello. Need help with Windows 8 for Windows 8.1 update

    I have brand new computer and need windows update 8 for windows 8.1 but when I try to update the store and click on the free updated windows 8.1 I got the message "not available". I downloaded and installed the KB 2871389 update but without success. My OS: Windows 8 64-bit language (version 6.2 version 9200)

    Hello. Thanks for the quick response, but the PROBLEM IS NOT RESOLVED.

    I did everything you told me:

    1 create the installation media for Windows 8.1.

    2. "Download Windows 8.1.

    3. "How to create a Bootable USB or a DVD with an ISO of Windows 8 or 8.1"

    4 picked up the product with magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/ key

    I also checked the product key and it is CORREECT but I can't go further cos I got the message that my key is not valid for this edition of Windows.

    MY WINDOWS 8 IS TURNED ON, BUT MY PRODUCT KEY CANNOT BE USED TO UPGRADE TO 8.1

    Do NOT post in uppercase, because it is considered as shouting and is difficult to read.

    You have 8 SL > you download 8.1 SL

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

    When you reinstall it will go take the product key and activate the system automatically.

    If it does not, follow these steps:

    "How to activate Windows 8 and 8.1 telephone"
