How Windows Defender is on this problem?
Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.
Restore point:
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Download the Vista software from the link above.
After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

I was wondering if I saved a layer somewhere and set it as a default value.
If you group the layers, you will be left with a single layer, thus spreading your concern.
Suggest that you do the following:
- Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printers
- Reset the default preferences.
Hold the Alt, Ctrl + Shift keys when you click the icon to open the items. When asked if you want to delete the settings file, say Yes.

I was recently scammed for my contact information of credit card of people claiming to be the call from Microsoft, they had remote access to my computer, I now find to be very slow and the homepage has changed color and I now have more icons on the screen. I tried to access Defender but it seems Defender is stopped, I tried to turn it back on, but keep, get a message saying "Windows Defender encountered an 0x80004003.invalid pointer error" can anyone help.

If you use Norton, AVG, Avira, Microsoft Security Essentials, McAfee, etc. the default action is for Windows Defender must be disabled, that these AntiVirus programs have their own Antispyware Applications.

Using both programs at the same time can cause system conflicts, etc.

Desperately need help with my old Vostro 1510 which does not start!
My old Vostro 1510 (my tried & true), I had for 7-8 years under XP Pro SP3. Its really been a good little machine, but only started to have problems... Yesterday was the BSOD with the 07th code. Do system restore from the command through the splash screen prompt & if necc doing the XP restore CD & same BIOS reset if being researched necc.
So I tried to do the system restore to an earlier time with the button F8 at startup... blue screen then said that I had a windows configuration config 32 corruption & I need to use the recovery disk...
Could not get a cd on the internal disk but finally prevailed in now the eject button then re start the computer.
I guess it was a mistake to put the restore cd right there because nothing happened, just a black screen... I had to force close by pulling the battery because it is not closed in any other way.
Tried to restart & it makes the usuall start noise, the "can" symbol lights up at the top of the keyboard along w / all the three symbols to "lock" near her but NOTHING happens... black screen & I cannot get the disc in the CD drive.
I'm contemplating manually pulling the CD with a paper clip, but wanted to post my question here before I do & ruin even worse.
I have a newer dell laptop as I expected that to meet his maker someday, but I have pictures on my old I need to save! You think I would have a copy of these images, but of course I did not! I don't care if old dies, but I really need these photos because they have great sentimental value.
Can someone help me restore an old long enough to get my pictures of her?

What happens if you are missing a row for some reason any? Just using ROW_NUMBER won't take the missing line into account. It would be preferable to derive the time of the end_intc_timecolumn. Of course, it would be even better to store the date and time ending in a DATE column all the way.

Hi, my problem is that my PC stops on its own, it is worse when cold and runs 3 - 4 times on first boot before loading the same windows. When windows starts, as soon as I start to play or download internet video, the pc stops again. Also at random when times navigation he will die too. There is no overheating btw.

Any help greatly appreciated, thank you.From my experience, random and immediate judgments are usually caused by overheating or problems with the RAM. You seem to have eliminated overheating as a cause. The next most likely cause is your RAM. Try to remove your RAM modules and put back them in their media. If you're lucky, that might solve your problem. If you have more than one RAM module, you could try to remove one module at a time and see if the problem is improving (indicating the wrong module). Microsoft also has an audit of program memory which can help:

OK so I have a problem, but it is in a common category, it is a rare problem as given that everywhere I look I can't seem to find someone who has the same problem.
Question #1: Heres Alright so my question downgrade from vista 64 bit of the month last to XP pro SP2... Well, I'm going through the process of installation very well, wipe the hard drive, make new partion (or how ever spell you it) etc. It starts the formatting, and it installs everything seems to be fine. Now when it comes to the reboot screen it counts down it restarts correctly now, this is where the problem occurs. During the restart of the process rather than continue through the installation process which should be, where it says "Press any key to boot from the CD" soon after that instead of going into the installation process it says "disc read error" or something of the sort just underneath. Help, please!
Question #2 also now that I re installed vista I did all good also, erased the hard disk (even I tried to install XP on) just to make sure they had no data on this. Well now, during startup it asks if I want "a previous version of windows" or "Windows XP" as if I double started somehow. Vista loads still very well when I choose it however. If I managed to do an install own success of XP it should fix right?

Thanks for posting. Follow these steps on your XP disk.
1. place your Windows XP installation CD and start to her...
2. Press any button to start the Windows installation (don't worry... we do not actually use the installer at this point)
3. wait a few moments for the installation program starts, when you see repair an installation of Windows XP using the Recovery Console, and then press the R key
4. wait until you see this screen, enter the number of your master installation. (Typically 1 to C:\Windows)
5. press ENTER.
6. If you are prompted to do so, enter your administrator password. If you don't have one, leave the field blank and press to enter.
7. from the command prompt, type: chkdsk/r (note the space between chkdsk and / r)
Allow it to complete undisturbed.
8. remove the disc, then restart.After completing this, then format it and try to reinstall XP again. As for your other question if completely format you your drive using XP you should not see the previous version of XP. The only reason you would see that it's the Vista BCD is located on a second hard drive in your computer. If this is the case and you want to do an install own format two readers please.

I'm really confused with these three terms when triying them figure out in a real case.
Basically, I know that I should use invokeLater, invokeAndWat, or getEventLock() to avoid

With respect to the effect, there is no difference between methods. The difference is the way in which the result is achieved. So we can't change the code to show you the difference.
As we are unable to demonstrate the difference, you have to do with an explanation. To understand the explanation, you'll need to understand the thread of events, so if you have not already, please consider this:

If the three options are differentiated by the processing order:
(a) invokeLater executes the update on the thread of events. The transformation takes place at a later stage and the code which is in order after the invokeLater will actually run before the code within the invokeLater.
(b) invokeAndWait also manages the update on the thread of events, which means that all other events that await on the thread of events will be run before this code. But any code after the invokeAndWait will not be executed.
(c) the synchronized option, like invokeAndWait, runs the update of the UI before moving on to the following code. The difference is that the code to run on the event Thread is not executed before code in the synchronized block.
If this is meaningless, so that probably does not matter too much. in general, you should use invokeLater, except if you need to update the user interface occur in the order with your background processing. If so, use invokeAndWait. It has synced are very few occasions where you must use the block, and it should be very small updates to the user interface and you should understand the implications this could have on the wire events.

I need help with this error on VMware Server 2
Hello world! I'm new to using this site, but not to a large part by using VMware, VMware Server software. I have worked with it for 1.0.5 version. I have a Dell 2950 PowerEdge Server with Red Hat 5.2 and VMware Server 2. I installed 3 virtual machines and I made a backup of any of it. I copied this entire virtual machine to another computer (Dell Optiplex 755) with the same Red Hat 5.2 and VMware Server 2 and I added the virtual machine properly in the inventory of machines with VMWare Server 2 recognized the very fast machine. But when I press Play to start the virtual machine I got the error that appears on the image and I don't know what can be the problem.
Can someone help me please?

It looks like may have copied the files when the virtual machine is not correctly - stop search *.lck files/folders in the destination folder and delete them. Also, make sure that the account running the VMware process has permissions to write to the files/folders.

Today at around noon, I was prompted to upgrade my desktop CC application. I did, but the icon disappears and reappears. After that I updated the programs that I use (InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver), I have opened and then InDesign to use a personal project. However, when the CC libraries by default, the message panel you see above has appeared. The only thing I have in my library is gone and I can't use it. I then clicked on the link in below - 'additional information' - then some links to support, but there was no information to help me solve the problem.
Then this afternoon around 02:30, I called technical support. After about an hour, I finally got through and got permission from the person at the other end of the line to take over my computer. I then realized that his proposed solution was to uninstall and reinstall the application - that I could easily have done on my own! So I did this, and then re-open the file, and the message remained.
Fast forward to a few minutes ago. I turned on my computer, then InDesign again. Guess what--the same message appeared. Based on similar problems, I've had in the past, my conclusion is that something has happened in the registry. So should I check the registry or try another fix to retrieve library item?
I am pleased to announce that the solution to my question was simple, and I found it in a related thread a user named Ruth. What I did go into the Task Manager and end the CC 32 library * process. When that happened, my article only library - a black shade - returned.

4 problems simultaneously on an operating system of Windows 7 need help with this now!
(1) problem when I try to open a picture using Windows Photo Viewer I get the following Message: Windows Photo Viewer cannot open this picture because you don't have permission to access the location of the file.
Problem (2) when I open Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000, instead of getting a video, I get a small box that says: LifeCam cannot find LifeCam files folder or save a file in there. For more information, see "Troubleshooting and Support" in aid of LifeCam.
Problem (3) when I open CCleaner and try to clean and remove old unnecessary files from Windows appears and tells Me that Windows has detected a problem and needs to close.
(4) problem I uninstalled CCleaner and Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 and I have tried to reinstalled the problem. When you try to download the software it fails or I tells me it cannot be downloaded.
Please if there is anyone here who has any registry Fix for these problems I'd really appreciate thank you!
