  At first, I must say that Toshiba service doesn t sell these small parts such as USB ports. USB ports are soldered to the motherboard.

  I don t know where you MFL, but perhaps you should I use Google in your country and check if you can find some independent repairer for laptop and ask for help.
  I fear it won't be so easy to find new ports of m.

  What you can try is to buy defective mainboard in the hope of USB ports are OK and are trying to replace them.

  I don't think it's so complicated. Use this part number and try to find a store online in your country where you can order a new one.

  One important thing: I highly recommend buying the original Toshiba AC adapter and not a product without name at low cost.

  Why? In the past I have had bad experiences with these products without a name who were not good and not 100% compatible with Toshiba laptops.

  Hi all

  I installed a new copy of XP on a Satellite Pro A300. I'm looking for all the XP drivers for this machine. I found some drivers on the Toshiba site (LAN, audio), but Device Manager has the following list of devices without drivers

  Where can I download the drivers to fix this? Toshiba have a driver package that can be downloaded which provides all the drivers? Or I have to download generic drivers?

  I found a lot of drivers for Satellite Pro A300 on the site of Toshiba for Windows XP.

  I found the drivers for the network controller chipset.

  Can someone tell me why the latest drivers intel for this chipset are out for all other versions of the A300, but not this one...
  I need to install these drivers to fully activate Hardware t & so that I can play a number of games previously unsupported, but cannot install direct from Intel because they tell me that they are not certified for my laptop... also make widespread drivers available on the download page of the A300 series tell me that my system does not meet their requirements.

  Why not have Toshiba get out these drivers for this model and are there plans to release them soon? If not, is there a way I can force an installation and if I could it would be worthwhile I guess that there are compatibility issues...

  It would appreciate any help that I spent money on games that are in the compatible list Intel for their latest driver, but cannot play that Toshiba did not or varified pilots, it's aggrevating to say the least.

  The PSAG1E is a Satellite Pro A300 model and I checked the Web from Toshiba site for display drivers on all versions of Satellite Pro A300 and I can't agree with you!

  For the Satellite Pro A300 with Intel graphics card I can find three different versions of graphic driver for XP:
  6.14.10.4953
  6.14.10.4833
  6.14.10.4096

  So please tell me where you found the 6.14.10.5029 version? I can t see the site of Toshiba for Satellite Pro A300.

  Sounds like you have enabled autoplay
  Whenever you insert the memory key USB flash it will try and read the contents of the files on it.
  You can disable this by holding SHIFT when you insert the USB key.
  This should disable the AutoPlay option.
  Then you can go to MY computer in order to access the USB key.

  Note: pilots are zipped so you will need to decompress the content first, I installed a 3rd third party tool called WinRAR to unpack the packages unique.

  I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a * module Bluetooth * which would be compatible with my Satellite Pro * A300/2 4 * portable. I'd get a small dongle but I was hoping to get something that was out of the way and view and no need to connect and reconnect when necessary. The model above mine (Satellite Pro A300-28R) _ has Bluetooth but I can't find more information.

  Can just install the module form of the model above on mine? My laptop has bluetooth program already installed on it.

  I'm not very well if the motherboard supports a miniPCI for BT m module slot
  Usually it should support, but I recommend to ask the technician ASP in your country.
  Here, you can order the necessary BT miniPCI module and could request the installation

  I would not recommend upgrading yourself because you will need to disassemble the laptop and this means you lose the warranty!

  Hi guys I have a bit of a problem with my laptop (Satellite Pro A300-PSAG1E0). Although some questions really

  I had the laptop bought as gift second hand from eBay. Registration said the notebook had Downgrade XP support provided on DVD that he was not and that I could create a copy of the recovery media using the construction in software which is not that there is no creator thereon recovery software.

  I believe that the laptop is running an illegal version of Windows, as the product key sticker says it is intended to be run Vista Home top and it works in windows 7.

  The seller disappeared and he is not answering all of my calls. IM at my end of whits thereby as being a low income means that I can't really afford to buy an official Windows disk or recovery media.

  Any help on how I could get the recovery disks or advice on how I can get a legal copy of Windows would be great. I also have it reported to microsoft as suspicious software.

  I have a Satellite Pro L300 Vista.
  If I have problems of major incompatibility with Vista I can swap the readers so I want to set up a second hard drive running on XP Pro.

  When I try to set up the XP he sees not the SATA hard drive. I know that it's because XP does not contain the SATA drivers. Couple of questions

  (1) I saw a comment that recommendsto change the BIOS for SATA setting to "Compatibility" and this should work. I tried this but did not find it worked - everyone find it works?

  (2) where can I find the XP SATA driver? I crossed the XP drivers for Satellite Pro L300 Toshiba's web site, but could not see any SATA driver.

  As to the question;

  (1) some notebook models containing this function in the BIOS and some don t BIOS that SATA option. If the BIOS has this option, you should be able to put AHCI Compatible mode. Then a SATA driver won't be necessary but also your SATA function would be disabled and HARD drive might work more slowly. So I recommend to set to AHCI, and then reinstall the SATA driver.

  (2) the SATA driver is part of the Intel Matrix Storage Manger. You can include the SATA drivers using nLite software. The necessary files of the SATA driver can be downloaded from Intel here page:
