Need new HDD for my Satellite C855 1RL
My drive hard internal is not read and was told that I need a new. Where can I buy a new HDD for a Satellite C855 1RL, and what kind of money it costs. I have the recovery disks
You can buy new HARD drive in every store of the computer. What you need is 2.5 "SATA HDD.
In my opinion you should now reflect on the upgrade and buy SSD that will offer more performance and make your laptop run much faster than before.
Talk with your dealer ad pick up some useful information about the HDD and SSD upgrade Exchange.
Well, I have a Satellite A205-S5812 and I need a new hard drive for it. I was wondering if someone could tell me if would be able to buy and use the hard drive below on this computer. Thanks in advance.
Also it automatically will fix my problem "Bootmgr is missing"? I have tried everything to fix and I just give up (so I'm going to buy a hard drive). When I try to go to the command prompt, it can not locate same drive c.

I'm 99.9% sure that you can use this disk, but in my opinion you should spend it with HARD drive with more capacity. I think 200 or even 250 GB should work just fine with your laptop satellite.
I know that European Satellite A200 is supported up to 250 GB HDD.
I want to buy a new hard drive from Western Digital, but I don't know which is compatible with my laptop?
My laptop is
Toshiba Satellite A200 - 19L
Model No.: PSAESE-00H003AR
The new HARD disk must have a SATA port and a 2.5 HARD disk. Each HARD drive with these specifications should work in your laptop.
As Feliks, visit the Western Digital site for models. I think you would find a HARD drive you want.
I have good experiences with Western Digital and Seagate.
I have a laptop Satellite A60-723, the hard drive has crashed, so now the beach is empty. But I am now in the Canada, can I buy a hard drive for laptop normal 2.5 "and insert it? Where can I get instructions on how to do it? I can see the connections of the pins for the reader inside, but do not know if there is a power connector?
Also can run from a USB key? How do in the Bios if I need to change the settings?
Also I searched the Toshiba site and did not find the user manual
Any help much appreciated
I presume that you have removed the old drive HARD only. Am I right about that?
My carpet * an optical drive UJ - 811b has stopped working, and I want to buy a new drive for my Satellite P20 S203.
But this time I would like to have a drive that reads and writes DVD + not only DVD, as did so the UJ - 811b.
Which drive with these features fit in my satellite p20?
UJ - 820B don't? Or if you know other model or brand, please write a reply.

You need to buy a compatible player!
Not all slim drives are compatible due to different master slave / parameters c - salt!
Generally, your user manual must contain a list of compatible drives.
If you have no user manual to use this device, then you can download it here:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/-> support downloads & -> Toshiba operating manual
Here, you have to choose Archive as first option!
On the other hand, you could get in touch with a local ASP from Toshiba.
Guys might provide a good information on the supported disc!
I'm looking for a new presentation for my Toshiba Satellite C70D-A - 11 K!
The Satellite C70D - A - 11 K was fitted with the 17.3 "LED color LCD screen with resolution of 1600 x 900 px max support
You should be able to order this billboard of local Toshiba authorized service provider, or you can see some 3rd party online resellers who provide parts for compatible laptop...
As I mention above: you should look for the signs 17.3 " .
My Satellite M60-104 needs his replacement motherboard.
Does anyone know if I need to find a motherboard for the exact model number or other motherboards M60 will work? I am struggling to find the exact model number card mother PSM60E-00s02EAV.
It seems that all Satellite M60 have the same hardware platform and you can use another M60 laptop motherboard.
Satellite M70 comes with two different material PSM70E and PSM71E platforms.
I googled a bit and all Satellite M60 I found are PSM60E models.
If you are looking for used card mother on eBay, there you will always find info on laptop where the motherboard has been placed in.
I have an old satellite M40x-163 with a broken keyboard. I found some keyboards for my laptop, but im not sure if they are compatible.

The keyboard on the ebay page seems to be compatible.
In general all Toshiba parts can be ordered from Toshiba service partner in your country.
my laptop Toshiba Satellite HARD drive no longer works.
So I'm going to buy a new one today, but what one do need me? As the number of inches? And what is a SATA connection or something?
Could someone please tell me what I watch when I buy a new HARD drive for this laptop
One thing is strange for me: I guess your laptop L300 is fairly new and I do not understand why you want to buy a new HARD drive. Warranty is still valid?
Please check. If the warranty is still valid contact nearest authorized maintainer, and I am sure that you will get replacement free of charge.
If you want to buy it too, I assume you want to replace one. Then, remove the old HDD and on the white label, you will find all the necessary information on the HARD drive.
In any case, it takes 2.5 SATA HDD.
As my A10 satellite hard drive had a lot of problems lately, I bought a new drive. However, when I turn on the labtop, it freezes just on the screen "select boot device". I'm not still able to enter the BIOS. I can hear the disc upward rotation, but there is no reading of it.
The old drive was a 4200 RPM, 2 ATA-100 MB disk Toshiba while the new is a Seagate Momentus 5400.2 with 5400 RPM / MN and 8 MB cache. Anyone aware of the A10 is having problems with the new disks, or someone has a suggestion for what I should try?
Thank you in advance.
How have you tried to get into the BIOS?
Have you tried to install the OS on the new HARD drive?
I think that the laptop does not freeze, but the BIOS can not find a boot device.
You must insert the Toshiba Recovery CD and must try to boot from this CD.
If you cannot select the STRANGE as boot device in the BIOS you could simply press the C button immediately after you start the laptop.
This option allows booting from the CD/DVD drive.
The hard drive in my Satellite P20 was dead. It is a 60 GB drive, but I decided to replace it with a 100 GB drive. The problem is that on the P20 connectors do not seem to be the norm. Looks like the machine needs a player owner. Anyone know where I can get the replacement of hard drives for the P20?
I searched the internet but can't seem to find anything...
I'm not very 'exclusive' awareof drive for the P20. I think that it is a 2.5 drive "conventional with a standard pin configuration.
I know that the use of range Portege 1.8 disc "format.
Is it possible that there is an adapter to allow the reader to be realigned with the pin sockets?
If you can post the details of the car (model no etc), that would give a clue as to the type of drive you have.
Anyone know where I can order/buy a new internal hard drive for my laptop cause my hard drive died.
of course, the internet offers a wide range of hard disk drives. You have to do is check google and type something like "2.5 inches HDD SATA" or «SATA HDD laptop»
For some reason, you can check for example ebay and search there for SATA hard drive, which is integrated in laptops (the height of the car shouldn´t be more than 9.5 mm).
It s just important that you're looking for SATA and IDE not. Any other topic doesn´t. Oh, I'm not sure what the maximum size of HDD machine can take, toshiba says something about 120GB, but you will have to prove by yourself if the machine may take longer.
Does anyone know where I can buy a hard drive for the laptop above to reinstall complete
Current hard drive is officially dead!
I found some info on the HDD on Satellite P10:
It can be used a 2.5 ", 9.5 mm hard disk with capacity of 30 GB / 40 GB / 60 GB / 80 GB
-Master - IDE bus
-9.5 mm, 2.5 HARD drive carrier
-Support synchronous Ultra DMA 100
So for your laptop you can buy IDE HDD up to 80 GB of capacity.
I think you can buy it everywhere. In PC Magazine, online electronic store, eBay...
They damage the motherboard in my Toshiba Satellite L655-sp5014m and need your help to find out if I can replace it with another motherboard for a Toshiba Satellite L755.
I appreciate your support
If you have a series of Satellite L655, you must use the motherboard designed for this series of portable too
You can order this service provider of Toshiba motherboard, but I guess that new mobo is not cheap...
My L40 needs a new keyboard. Can someone be kind enough to advise those who will be compatible with this?
I ask, as the last one I acquired did not even if it was listed as a keyboard for Satellite Pro L40. There were two studs raised who would keep forcing the keyboard out latches. My original keyboard didn't they.
The reference on the original keyboard number is 04GNQA1KUK00 - 2 TB. It's a Toshiba Satellite Pro L40 - PSL4BE-00M005EN.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Wait a boyfriend of the moment! You have the original piece for the right keyboard number and now you need some info on compatible keyboard?
Sorry, but you have the info you need. I don't know where you live (assume UK) but use Google and find an electronic store where you can order absolutely the same keyboard and everything will be fine.
