Need new keyboard for Satellite A110 137 after any spill of water
Spilled water on my A110-137... .no damage to the computer but the doesen't the keyboard work well at all.
I tried everything... cleaned with distilled water and so on. Now I want to buy a new keyboard but does not know which is correct.
Each satellite series has the same model of keyboard? Please help and if anyone can suggest a site to buy from... I'm from Sweden, so a Swedish keyboard would be preferable but English works well.
Thanks in advance
You're really lucky that the laptop works after the spill of water on the keyboard.
However, the compatible keyboard can be ordered from the service provider authorized in your country!
Simply contact the guys from ASP and order this part.
I have a PC laptop toshiba Satellite A500-025 and I had a bit of water splashed on keyboard and some keys are no longer works. I was going to replace the keyboard. Mine was purchased in the Canada and has a bilingual English/french keyboard.
I was wondering if I can order a keyboard only English bilinguals are harder to find.
Also if anyone can suggest a site to the order of which is reasonably priced.
Less expensive keyboard, you can find it on eBay. I ordered two English keyboards for Satellite P300 and L300.
I paid 15 euros for a keyboard. It is not expensive.
I need to get a new keyboard to replace the one in my laptop Toshiba Satellite because some keys stopped working.
My computer is a Toshiba Satellite A660-PSAW3A-07P00R.
I have been looking online at different and a single list as "fitting Toshiha Satellite A660 laptop computers".
Does anyone know if different laptops of the A660 other shape series computers laptops, or I need to find the specific part that is compatible with the number of my computer?
In addition, the keyboard of my laptop doesn't have the function of backlit, but in some lists I could find that didn't function backlit.
Anyone know if the backlit keyboard is a size different from that which is not backlit and therefore it does not my laptop?
I would be very grateful of any help.
When the keyboard is removed on the back side is a sticker with part number that you can use to search for and order new keyboard. In my opinion this is the best and easiest way to find a good keyboard.
Keyboard with backlight has additional cable for power and you cannot use it with our machine, so, in my opinion, there is no sense to buy it. Remove the keyboard and we part of the keypad number.
I don't know if you have experience with disassembly, but be careful if you want to do it yourself. Small mistake and something may be broken. If all this is too risky for you I recommend you to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. They can order the original keyboard and switch to... I think only 20 minutes.
My keyboard is defective. It is self-inflicted. I'm trying to get my hands on a new, but it is up to four weeks for delivery. The keyboard that I'm looking for the following part number: H000053530 (Nordic) in black finish. It's totally hopeless that is not in stock, here in Norway where I live. Is there someone who can give me some advice on where I can get a new keyboard without be stolen money?
Greater than Toshiba does not cars. Access without hope of spare parts, as they did in the market.
Thank you in advance.
Sorry, but after reading your ad, I do not understand where you tried to get the new keyboard. Have you contacted the nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer?
I assume that your laptop still warranty valid so left Toshiba service swap the keyboard.
In many countries, there are several services and maybe one of them doesn't have some keyboard on stock, but I think they can order a new one and get it in a few days.
I was visiting my friend in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, it has a Toshiba Satellite U500 - 1F4 Laptop, the subtemplate is PSU9ME-OOCOOXAR
She bought while working in Dubai, Saudi
She spilled coffee on the keyboard, and of course, it now does not work correctly.
I thought that it would be possible to remove and just wash it in hot water, perhaps to dissolve the coffee, but it does not work. There are six or seven key doesn't work is not on the keyboard.
The rest of the laptop is great, no problem.
I am now back in the United Kingdom, and I will try to find a keyboard for it. There is a lot on eBay and other places, but whenever I do a search for its model I get nothing.
The numbers on the back of the keyboard are:-
MP - 08H56A06528
OKNO - VGIAR0209493000523
I found various models U500 and U505 keyboards, so one of them would be?
On eBay you can find so many keyboards. Just find one for U500 and it will fit for sure.
My concern is on my Toshiba laptop, I bought it in Europe 2 months ago when I reached my son Philippines keep on playing all of a sudden, it was shut down and it did not open more.
I immediately go to the center of Toshiba in oro city Cagayan and I discovered it was the keyboard problem, but they could not replace it because there is no available for this laptop keyboards. How can I solve this problem?
Model name: TOSHIBA SATELLITE C660 - 1 DG.
Initially, I would say that the biggest problem for you is that warranty may not cover the replacement of keyboard, and you pay only keyboard changes. Notebooks of the countries in the EMEA (Europe Middle East North Africa) region have guaranteed EMEA warranty is, unfortunately, only, so not valid.
To be honest I don t understand why the keyboard must be exchanged if the laptop does not start correctly.
Anyway, this model of laptop has keyboard used on many models in order to find a new should not be a problem. Best way to new keypad is eBay. Over the past 3 years I ordered several keyboards on eBay. You don't know me, but each of them I ordered from China.
I have a Satellite L500 bought at the Portugal. My daughter has filled the keyboard with sweet tea. Fortunately, the computer still works, but the keys are now very sticky and will not work correctly.
I want to replace the keyboard. Technical advice UK works on the computer? I changed the keyboard in Windows settings, using the Portuguese Council.
If not, can I use a USB with laptop computer?
> A technical Council UK will work on the computer?
Yes. Just be sure to have good keyboard designed for L500. You can get it cheap on eBay.
> Default, can I use a USB with laptop computer?
Anyone know where I can order/buy a new internal hard drive for my laptop cause my hard drive died.
of course, the internet offers a wide range of hard disk drives. You have to do is check google and type something like "2.5 inches HDD SATA" or «SATA HDD laptop»
For some reason, you can check for example ebay and search there for SATA hard drive, which is integrated in laptops (the height of the car shouldn´t be more than 9.5 mm).
It s just important that you're looking for SATA and IDE not. Any other topic doesn´t. Oh, I'm not sure what the maximum size of HDD machine can take, toshiba says something about 120GB, but you will have to prove by yourself if the machine may take longer.
My L40 needs a new keyboard. Can someone be kind enough to advise those who will be compatible with this?
I ask, as the last one I acquired did not even if it was listed as a keyboard for Satellite Pro L40. There were two studs raised who would keep forcing the keyboard out latches. My original keyboard didn't they.
The reference on the original keyboard number is 04GNQA1KUK00 - 2 TB. It's a Toshiba Satellite Pro L40 - PSL4BE-00M005EN.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Wait a boyfriend of the moment! You have the original piece for the right keyboard number and now you need some info on compatible keyboard?
Sorry, but you have the info you need. I don't know where you live (assume UK) but use Google and find an electronic store where you can order absolutely the same keyboard and everything will be fine.
Perhaps this page can help - http://www.keyboardweb.co.uk/k115.htm

I would like to ask if I can buy it (if this battery will be compatible) and also if its possible to buy the battery longer "life."
Thank you for the help
I found the info that for your laptop model there are two types of battery only:
So if you use Google and put these numbers, you should be able to find an online store where you can buy these compatible batteries.
By the way: link you posted is OK and I don't see the reason why you shouldn't order of it. It is listed as compatible.
To extend the life, you need battery with more cells and ability, but it is unfortunately not available for your laptop model.

Satellite A85 is unknown to me but to my knowledge the A30 has been delivered in different views:
15.0 inch, screen SXGA 1400 × 1050 pixels.
15.0 inch XGA, 1024 × 768 screen pixels
I think that this view could be compatible with the A85, but maybe the display resolution is a little different.
