  • Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000

I have a Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000,
    the original USB transceiver broken.

I had a co-worker who has mouse was broken.

My mouse will pair with this "new" USB transceiver

I understand that the mice and the Transceiver are matched at the factory.

Is it possible for me to use this new transmitter/receiver?

(PS the General functions of mouse work correctly when it is used with a Belkin Bluetooth Transceiver, but certain features are not,
so I would use the MS USB Transceiver)

BTW - used with a portable Windows XP

    Hello ETuckUte32,

Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum.

Yes, the devices are paired at the factory and generally cannot be used with another transmitter/receiver even if it comes from the same group of models or the manufacturer. I would say that it is not possible for you to use a transmitter/receiver from another device and operate it properly or maybe even not at all.

If you can get some features with a totally different Bluetooth device, then it is perhaps the best, you'll be able to get the device. Find functions and features are reduced when you use the device with a transceiver that isn't made to go with this particular material.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

  • Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 will not enter pairing mode (part 2)

I tried the fix in this issue here:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-hardware/wireless-notebook-Presenter-Mouse-8000-will-not/3a0df437-759e-436D-86FC-90bebf7069ac?tab=AllReplies&TM=1320144127818

and it does not solve my problem - however the described issue is identical.
My Presenter Mouse 8000 has a permanent green light on the bottom, pressing the button on the dongle (receiver) lance the pairing wizard who tells to press me the button of the mouse for 5 seconds - I followed these instructions and the unit is not pair.  I think (I remember) which she flashed red and green when it is matching, however in my case, the Green led is permanently on and not blinking.
I changed the batteries for new ones - that has not fixed my problem
I tried on another computer matching - this does not solve my problem
I tried to install 3 different versions of the software (versions 8.0.25, the version on the CD that came with the mouse and the plus up to version 8.2 of the date), this does not solve my problem.
This mouse has worked in the past-, so I do not understand why it would stop working now after a battery change?
I'm on Windows 7 x 64 both computers, with that I tried to use the mouse.
Are there measures other that I can take to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance for your answer

    Hello

    Method 1:

I suggest that you try to do a system restore and check whether the problem is resolved.

    In Windows 7 system restore

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

    Method 2:

I suggest you update Bluetooth drivers on the computer and check:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

If it still does not work, then it may be due to a defective material.

  • Generic adapter Bluetooth doesn't work is no Presenter Mouse 8000

I had this Microsoft Windows Wireless Presenter Mouse 8000 for several years and have enjoyed the work and general use. However, lately, I've had problems connecting with the mouse does not stay connected properly and it stops working. I moved the various Bluetooth USB adapter, but still nothing. I have "re-matched" the adapter to the mouse and this may work for a while, but then that is not.  Now, I get the message 'Generic Bluetooth adapter' Code 10, and even after you have reinstalled the software and the latest drivers, this problem has not been resolved.  Actually, it ceases to be worse that I had to use the Mr. Fix - it to find and reinstall other Bluetooth components.  After all, I've done, the challenge is still here... I'm getting an adapter generic Bluetooth could not install correctly and also get a Code 10 on the Bluetooth device RFComm.  I am very frustrated with this, and really need this mouse to work. What can I do to end this loop that I not of miracle!

I use a HP Elitebook 8540p with 8 GB of ram, Windows 7 Ultimate and all systems updated through HP or Microsoft sites. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the latest version of the Microsoft software for the mouse (Intellipoint). Please, someone help!

    1. have you checked this mouse on another computer?

First of all I ask you to download and install the latest version of the IntelliPoint 8.0 for Windows 7 software. Here are links to the software.

Here's how you can do it.
    a. remove the device from Bluetooth devices.
    b. turn on the mouse and select "Add Device".
    c. immediately after selecting "Add Device" push the Bluetooth button on the bottom of the mouse (must flash red/green on top).
    d. move the mouse as I used it (probably 10 seconds or more) until the mouse showe up as a new device in the window add the device.

  • BT Presenter Mouse BT & Non - MS Dongle

Hi - I have a HP DV6131 laptop with a Micro Bluetooth IOGear donge.  I use to connect / sync my Blackberry and have had no problems.  I just replaced my mouse USB MS with a MS BT Presenter Mouse 8000 and deleted then re-installed Intellipoint 6.3.  During this operation, I was prompted to insert the Dongle MS and I choose to use this foreign unit; mainly because of its size.  In any case, I could discover and connect with the mouse seems to work very well.  However, after installation of the MS my laptop mouse hangs at the initial POST screen.  If I remove the IOGear Dongle before you start and then insert it at the windows screen, everything goes & works well.  I updated the Broadcomm stack to the latest drivers without change.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I rebooted the Microsoft mouse driver, and this seems to have solved my problem starting.  I was able to cold start and restart without problems, with the mouse, connection and functioning properly.  My Blackbery is also able to connect & synchronize via BT without problem.  This issue can be closed.

  • HP 5219urf (RX1): HP wireless receiver 5219urf (RX1) - several mouse compatibility?

    Gentlemen.

I just got an old wireless keyboard of HP 5219urf and 5219urf from Receiver USB (RX1) to a thrift store and I have a few questions.

Is there any other wireless mouse that can work with this receiver outside the M97iu (M1) original unit delivered with the keyboard? I don't have the mouse and it would be certainly a comvenience if other mouse HP, or same mouse Logitec or Microsoft may work with this receiver.

Are there drivers that need to be obtained? Guide to the user for this set - up does not mention the installation of all the drivers so I'm thinking that the receiver is plug ' n play for HP computers. I'm planning to use these devices with a HP Pavilion a1777c under Vista Home Premium desktop computer.

    Thanks for your interest!

    Grant

    @GHagen, welcome to the forum.

Mice are configured to work with a single receiver.  Therefore, it would strictly be luck if you found one that would work.  There could be such a thing that the codes are repeated each mouse as much.  Who knows.  I lost the receiver to my Microsoft mouse and I have one exactly like it, but the receiver will not work.

With respect to the software and drivers for the keyboard, I plug it into the computer and run updates HP to see what he finds.  In addition, you can go to Device Manager / keyboards / right-click on your keyboard / select Update driver software / search automatically for updated driver software.  There is a driver available it will download and install it.

Please click on the button + Thumbs up if I helped you and click on accept as Solution If your problem is solved.f

  • MS Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 charging light illuminates any

Recently, I noticed that the witness of charing on my MS Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 is not lit at all when on the charger. Not green, not red, not flashing, not stable. Just nothing.

So far, it works again, it seems to charge, but I would like to know if there is a problem. I've done the obvious things (for me): clean the contacts taken care to what the charger is plugged at both ends.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Ken Isaacson

    KJIsaacson,
As long as the mouse still works normally and is in charge, so it's nothing to worry about.  Probably the LED went wrong but which would not affect the operation, he is only there as an indicator for you do know that the load.  If the unit stops to load then do it repaired / replaced.
