Need to constantly force quit Safari

Hello

I have problems with Safari which has occurred recently.

Sometimes starts with being unable to get into any entry box whether the site or the address bar of Safari.

However then get the Beachball of doom, and need to quit smoking, then force quit.

Reboot the machine helps a little.

Any ideas on how to make more stable Safari again?

  • -Pop-up window that will not go away unless I Quit Safari

I have an iMac 24 inch running OS X El Capitan.  Since the upgrade to El Capitan, I had the following annoying popup ad which seems to appear whenever I open a new tab, do a google search, or click a link to a Web site.  I tried to clear my history and cookies, but nothing seems to work.  Does anyone know what I can try next?  I tried Malwarebytes Anti Malware which found nothing wrong.  I have installed Adbocker more.  Help!

Force Quit Safari (-> force quit-> Safari), then restart in Mode safe mode by pressing the SHIFT key.  This prevents any tabs/windows to reopen.

  • With the help of Yosemite 10.10.5 and safari will not leave for me to restart. Have you tried all the option force quit I know? Any suggestions?

I can't open or close safari when I try to quit he said its opening, but when I try to use it - it is not opening or answer. Safari is not rich in the dock as it should be when opened can not restart normally as safari is open. Force quit won't go beyond that. I'm stuck. Help!

If forced to leave in the Apple menu doesn't do nothing I guess you will have to hard reboot: press and hold the power switch up to the farm of Mac down, gives him a minute or two for the disc to spin down and then starts normally with the power button.

Do you think day as Backup just in case the problem is a sign of something bigger than just a glitch in Safari?

  • CC of Photoshop freezes so have to force quit constantly!

    Hello world

Use Photoshop on my Mac with Phocus for Hasselblad. Had no problem using Photoshop CS6, but since I use versions of Creative cloud my Mac crashes when you use PhotoshopCC. When go to force close window x OX, I see several open applications are unresponsive.

This happens about every 20 minutes.

I have to force quit all open applications and reboot, which means I lost the image I was currently working, frustrating isn't the first word that comes to mind!

Everyone is suffering from this problem?

    Help, please!

    Mark

You can try several things to get this working.

    Uncheck the display tab leaders

Uncheck the GPU in Photoshop preferences

In addition, you can try to reset preferences to default as well.

To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

    Kind regards

  • Why the latest version of Firefox freeze and require a Force Quit?

I use a MacBook Air, processor 1.8 GHz, 4 GB memory, OS X v10.9 (Mavericks) and Firefox v25.0.

9 out of 10 times when I close Firefox, it freezes and I have to do a Force Quit. Without rhyme or reason, ab 1 out of 10 times it closes as it should without a problem. This issue arose as a result of the latest update of Firefox.

NOTE: I had been using OS X Mavericks with Firefox without any problems before the latest update of Firefox, so I don't think it's the Mavericks is the problem.

I thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

It is most likely a problem of Add on.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

The report please come back shortly.

What version of Mac OS X are you using? If the Yosemite, you will need to upgrade to 10.10.1 or higher version.

In any case, start by going in the editor preferences > general, click this button and the restart of the Editor:
