Need to find password for WI FI access for the new cell phone

I bought myself a new smart phone, the 1st step is to connect to my Wi Fi based computer, I need to enter a password on the phone to connect to my WiFi.

I do not know the password, with a quick search I find instructions how to find the password.  (Step 1) click icon Mac HD 2) click on requests

(3) locate and double-click connection Linksys icon I do not have this icon, I searched my applications and you do not have it.  So I can't finish the 1st stage

to set up my new smart phone.  What should I do?  Do I have to download this app?

Not sure what you mean by 'computer based Wi Fi' so what follows cannot help. However, if you have a router Wi - Fi and your Mac is connected then see the following:

Open Keychain Access on Mac (you can find that by using the Spotlight - control space research), click System in the sidebar and then click passwords in the sidebar, double-click the name of the wi - fi router, click on the box in front to show the password, enter login password of your Mac for your username if you are prompted.

  • Find apps for the new AppleTV

Anyone know where I can find a full list & regularly updated apps for Apple TV.

You'd think Apple would open a store similar to the other app store, but I can't find any complete list anywhere. Even the search page on the aTV is limited to a few if you just want to browse! You must enter a letter in the search, but goes from A to Z is so tedious and pointless, it is off-putting.

I think Apple needs to update the search page so it loads all available applications and trim when you enter a letter in the search bar. It's not rocket science.

  • Do need me an adapter for the new HDD in Tecra T9100?

I try to install a new hard drive (Toshiba 456 X3I89209S S/N this.) A, 40 GB). Need me an adapter or a framework for that?
The HARD drive has no adapter, just the usual PATA pins.

Your new HARD drive is a 2.5 or 3.5?
Only 2.5 hard drives will fit in a laptop.

However, you need a HARD drive connector to use the HARD drive in the laptop.
But if you remove the old HDD there is already such a connector. Remove this connector and put it to the new.
That s all and then you can use it.

  • Forgotten password for the new HP 15 laptop

Hi all.  Just bought a new Notebook from 15 HPO of WalMart.  First experience with Windows 8.  During installation, it asked my user name and password.  I must have misspelled the password because when I try to start it again, it identifies me, but says that the password is incorrect.  Any suggestions?

  • Satellite 5200 - need master/slave patch for the new DVD player

I need a patch for DVD to use in a Satellite 5200.

My original DVD is broken, so I bought a Toshiba SD-C2512 DVD but it does not work inside the Satellite, but with adapter to my desktop PC.
I patch the DVD in master.

Where can I get the file and the prog for patch?

    Hello

I think that these patches do you mean are not available and as far as I know if you can spend a notebook of the master to the slave, for example there is a jumper on the drive.

However, to me it sounds like this drive is not compatible with this laptop. Not every disc is compatible with all laptop (g. pins assignment.) e  ;)

You must buy a new one and check the user's manual. There you should find a list of compatible drives.

    Good bye

  • Don't know password for the new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate on VmWare Fusion

I bought Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and installed on my MAC OS X machine in VmWare Fusion of an image file provided by the seller of Windows 7.  However, when I start the merger, there is a 'user' set up account, and it asks for a password. Typing in anything doesn't work, or 'guest', 'user' or 'password '.  So I can't past the login screen.

    What can I do?

That was my mistake, and I 'found' the password trying my MAC password.  This was extracted automatically, or if I entered during installation without remembering, I don't know.  In all cases, it is resolved.

  • happy 40th for the first cell phone call

Today - 40 years - the first cell phone call was made by Martin Cooper of Motorola using what yould become the Motorola DynaTAC 8000 x.

    Weight - 2.5 lbs

    Cost - about $4000.

    Heres another 40.

Can you imagine saying one of those people holding the phone/anchor in 40 years, he would be carrying a device that weighed a couple of ounces and had more computing power than the first lunar module? I have now, imagine what will bring the next 40 years.

  • Impossible to do a series of recovery for the new cell G6-1369 disk.

Have tried to make a game of the drive on the new DVD recovery and also a new stick of memory of 32 GB. It goes through the process-Prepared disk-copy the image - then gets halfway through checking disc and stops with the following message. (That we know of errors in the creation of recovery media please try again) Have tried now four times that takes absolutely ages but still get the same message. Ideas please!

    Hello

I would call HP (the telephone number can be found on the corresponding link below) and explain that the Recovery Media Creator is unable to create a viable set of recovery disks and ask them to send you a set of free replacement.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

  • Cannot change or remove the password for the account.

Hi - I want to change my user account password, but this is impossible. I'm running Vista Ultimate x 64 SP1 with all updates.

My user account is the original, was created to windows install with administrator privileges.

When I change my password, it accepts my old password and the new successfully, indicates that the password has been changed and indeed accepts the new password when you log back.

But if I restart or turn off the PC, he returned to the old password, but still remember the new password hint. I tried to remove the password, and Vista indicates that the password is deleted, but after it is restarted the old password is back in force once again.

It starts to drive me crazy, and I searched all over the internet, but could not find a similar problem elsewhere, not to mention a solution.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi HoverDonkey

Thanks for posting on Microsoft Answers.

You have another user, you can sign up with?  If this isn't the case, create another user and log in as this user.

Change the password for the new user, restart and the connection as long as the new user.  Were you able to login with the new password?
If Yes, then there is a problem with 'your' user account, possible corruption.  Here is a link on how to fix a corrupted profile (user account) - Please post back and let us know if it helped to solve the problem - thank you

  • Removal of password for the drive HARD HP 2133

Former emploee returned HP 2133 p/n: FU351EA #AKD s/n:[personal information deleted] and he forgot BIOS password and HARD drive. I have the BIOS reset and cleared BIOS password. Please give me a procedure to remove the HARD drive password. Data from hard drive can be wiped out.

HDD password is not removable, as practical a point of view. Very persistent. I have a drawer full of hard drives protected by. The only thing you can do is to replace it, and even that will not work as the system could simply transfer the old password for the new hard drive. Here is a youtube video using Hiren's Boot CD and boot sector editing tool. This does not function normally, but may be worth a try.
