need to get the Service Pack 2 and 3 for XP home
Recently installed new h-drive. Re-installed XP Home with services Pack 1 a. I need to get the Service Pack 2 and 3, but none of Microsoft download sites will work for me. What should I do to fix this?
You don't need sp2 (which is a chance, l because the sp2 link no longer works).
Download sp 3 here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details-b.aspx?id=24

Problems after downloading the Service Pack 3 and Internet Explorer 8
Hi, I have Windows Home Version 2002 and advises him to download the Service Pack 3 and decided to download Internet Explorer 8. It wouldn't let me download IE 8 and I got a blue screen. After apparently loaded, when it restarted check disk page it came and I noticed that a lot of pages in IE have been truncated. Now Internet Explorer or Firefox will load. Only Aol 9.7 will work. The update finally began to work with SP3, and while loading, the computer turns off. I did not disable Avast because I didn't know how. Please help it is very upsetting. It seems that every time that I update something it doesn't quite work.
because sp3 is out for quite a long time your system has been widely exceeded and can have several problems.
If I were you I backup all my data and perform a clean installation:
