  The Netflix in Windows Media Center Extender works for me but very recently the ability to search other titles give me an error dialogue box titled: text of The Application error : there is a problem with the application at this time.   The web interface works very well. I love the interface with Media Center, but the inability to search makes it tedious.   I just got the new profiles of Netflix on my account. Unfortunately, they don't work well with the Windows Media Center Netflix plugin. • Profiles of Netflix in windows media center, causing problems

  It seems the new Netflix profiles posed problems in the version of Windows Media Center of Netflix.

  Launch and selecting a movie/show in the app Netflix Windows Media Center works great.

  However when you play the movie, you are prompted to select a profile, after you select a profile you are presented with a screen saying:

  "Something is not right of the specifications.  Repeat this last step' with two buttons "Lets try again" and "Cancel".

  I finally got. Apparently I should read more. I had to go to-> programs and features Control Panel. In there, click turn windows media on or features outside and uncontrolled. I then rebooted. C:\windows\ehome renamed to c:\windows\ehome.bak then reactivated multimedia in Control Panel.
