  Well, it means that I have some bad news. There is no easy way to reset it. I'll take a look at the manual and you come back. Your laptop is actually a reset button (hard) on the bottom. You can remove the chip eeprom BIOS with a special tool, buy an identical chip and a contract with a company of BIOS to program for you.  This isn't terribly expensive, but probably beynd the current value of the laptop.

  A number of us in the forum have generally no problem with helping to clear a BIOS password. A passsword for Windows, on the other hand, is something that most of us will not help with. There are ethical, legal and moral issues involved.  There are ways around the removal of the BIOS password... Hiren's boot CD has utilities that will allow you to clear the BIOS password. Wil you read the tutorials that explain the utilities.

  I need to reset the CMOS (the memory that contains the BIOS settings) on my laptop Lenovo 3000 N200 model 0769. Is it possible to do it without having to remove or the CMOS battery to short physically?

  If I have to remove the battery, where is he?   It is possible that the CMOS is corrupted so that the POST/BIOS Setup screen does not appear. In this case, you need to reset the CMOS manually, for example by removing the CMOS backup battery, "a brick" laptop.

  Fortunately, there is a way to reset the CMOS for the Lenovo 3000 N200 0769 model, which does not require the battery to remove or disable welded. It is not documented in the maintenance manual, but it can be extremely useful. If your machine sounds just a few times when you turn it on (Nothing on the screen, otherwise machine appears dead), it should reset the CMOS because that could save you having to RAM of the laptop, or pay $$$ for the out-of-warranty repair.

  Turn off the laptop, remove the battery and the AC adapter / CC. Remove the access panel that covers the hard drive and the wireless card. Look at the corner of the CCP in the front of the wireless card. There are two metal tracks exposed labeled CLRP1. You must bypass these tracks together for a few seconds.

  You can use the end of a small head screwdriver flat metal or if you have a multimeter set it to measure current and put a probe on each track.

  After doing this the laptop must turn on correctly. He will tell you that the time and date is not defined, and that the CMOS checksum is bad. This is normal when the CMOS was reset. Press F1 to access the menu.

  I need help here, I tried to remember the password I used for my admin BIOS and I don't remember any. I tried a couple times by guessing and I can't get any success. Here's what the system tells me: 'Disabled system [76222413]' I would be recognizing any help offered to reset the BIOS. I also tried to reset it manually by removing the CMOS battery, but I could not find I couldn't go to the motherboard, I have to take off all the back cover which is complecated.   Please note that I tried the 'normal' procedure or standard used to reset my BIOS password and I noticed in many other positions, this computer (laptop G62) maintains its BIOS data even after removing the battery from the room.  I also tried to short-circuit drivers who appear to be linked to the battery to remove all ability and that did not help either output.
  
  If someone has successfully cleared the password for this computer model or an employee of HP with knowledge or the wisdom of how to do it, please let me know.  My computer is beyond his support a year date and therefore a tax will be assessed should I call Tech Support and therefore would be too grateful for any help.

  I want to thank the entire community for the help! I was able to reset the password is by disconnecting the CMOS battery for an hour then without replacing the HD or the battery and reconnect the AC adapter. Then I booted the machine past POST. I unplugged the AC and reassembled the machine. He now starts without the password of the bios. I hope it helps someone who has the same problem. Thanks again to all!
