NET USE error: '67 system error has occurred. The network name cannot be found. »
Original title: NET USE worked for error.
OK I used the following with a RDP'ing of XP in a server of S2k3 years:
NET use lpt2 \\SERVERNAME\printername /persiternt:yes
now, I get a "system error 67has has occurred. The network name cannot be found. »
What made me state was I restarted my XP machine.
What I've done since then rebooted the box of the network, hubs, Wireless DSL modem router and the win 2 k 3 boxes with the same results...
suggestions?
Hey cvs334, would you unplug the ethernet cable from all these devices ' network box, hubs, Wireless DSL modem router and the win 2 k 3 boxes "then unplug the power cord for each. Then after about 60 seconds, connect waiting for DSL modem for sink power cord. Then plug the router after sink connect the router to the modem, and then connect the hub and other devices. This allows the automatic redirection Web DNS router to the modem. The router may be failing or the router LAN port may be faulty.

I opted for the "Restore default settings" option in the firewall while working on a client-side computer. For this reason got disabled the option "remote share' and now I can't access the machine remotely. The machine (which is not in the same network) does not monitor or keyboard attached to her and her to a different location so I can't physically connect you and activate this option.
I tried to disable the firewall remotely, but the following command does not work.
PsExec \\hostname u user_name password cmd.exe PeiIt returns the following:
Could not access ServerName
The network name cannot be found
Make sure you share the default admin$ is enable ServerName

Hello
I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:
Method 1:
Start the computer in safe mode and check if the same problem occurs:
http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=trueMethod 2:
Try to perform the clean boot and check if it helps:

I am running Yosemite (OS 10.10.5). Trying to open 6 LR, I get two error messages. (1) an internal error has occurred. Could not create the required folder: / Users/username/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Lightroom / develop Presets. (2) an error occurred when attempting to change modules.
When I tried LR 5 running on the previous system, I got the same error module changing, but cannot find anything on the Adobe site and thought that maybe the program was not compatible with the system. But here again the same problem. I really want to stop using the old computer with LR 3 and use the updates, I bought.
Hi Benjamin,
You must change the permissions of the folder Adobe in two libraries.
Browse to the location: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
/ Library/Application Support/Adobe
CMD + click on the Adobe folder
Click on Get Info
Click the Permission & sharing
Click on the padlock
Unlock it
Change the permissions of writing & for all users.
Check the link and try the Solution 5: error changing modules
Let us know if it helps.

UI settings printer error an error has occurred when troubleshooting
My problem is with the 'settings' not 'State '. W8 tells me to close the program, (add a printer - print a test page), and it will look for a solution. I have 2 printers, both in network, a lan cable to the router, the other wireless. The without line worked, the cable does not work. Help
Selection of troubleshooting of devices and printers in Control Panel for this device, which can be seen on the wireless network, translates:
An error occurred when troubleshooting
An unexpected error has occurred. the Troubleshooting Wizard cannot continue

This problem arose about three days ago (March 2013 20/21). No other changes except automatic upgrades of Windows.
Could Microsoft fix emergency.

Peggy, for some reason any MS just drew my attention to your message. If you're still having problems, it might help.
I now use HP "print and scan the doctor." You can find it on the HP website.
Seems to work well with two HP printers. I lost a few weeks ago, I guess from a W8.1 updated. HP said the latest version, I did and it worked. Good luck.

I can't use the convenience stores in the Panel and trouble getting my printer to re - install, when I click on devices and printers in Control Panel, rather than load him immediately, a green bar moves along the top where devices and printers are, but you can click on the choice and it will load If I go in safety in the Panel and choose troubleshoot, I get the error message, an error is produced so that download troubleshooting, or an unexpected error has occurred, the Troubleshooting Wizard can not continue. When I tried to access microsoft fix - it, I get the error message, troubleshooting cannot continue because there is an error, runtime error, code: 80040402, also 0x800B010E error codes. I am running windows 7 service pack 1 on Dell Inspiron laptop. I'm pulling my hair out! Help, please!

NOTE: once you check the clean boot feature configure Windows to use a Normal startup using step 7 proposed in the above mentioned link.
Method 2: Run the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker and check.
Follow the shape of measures the following link: http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833
See also this link to resolve script errors in Internet Explorer
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/308260
Method 3: Perform a full scan of the computer using the following antivirus applications.
Microsoft Safety Scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
If the method above does not work, proceed to the next method.
Method 4: Check the functionality in another user account.
If it works in a different user account, then the user account is damaged.
Create a new user account, copy files to the new user profile

I hope this helps!

I'm restarting SQL server, what I used to do via the following command line:
net stop mssqlserver
net start mssqlserverHowever, I am on a new Windows 7 machine and I get the following error when I try:
net start mssqlserver
System 5 error has occurred.Access is denied.
My account is a member of the administrator group, and I can restart normally through the Services Control Panel. I have tried to turn the UAC settings all the way down, but still this message.
(This also fails if I try to use PowerShell.)
What should I do to be able to restart the services via the command line?
Thank you
-PeterI had exactly the same problem:
1. new installation of windows 72. net start MSSQLSERVER fails with "Access denied" from the command window, but works at the start of Service Control Manager3. connected as a user of Directors of the Group - same account used for the automatic start4. I tried the above steps to register. They do not work.5. I tried to settle my UAC account at the lowest possible level, as recommended in another forum. It also did not work.I was amazed by the number of desperate people with similar problems - and apparently some resolutions there. I've used Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP a few years back and then switch to Mac OS X and Linux. Now, I'm hard to get used to this kind of problem again, (sigh) Windows. In any case, one of my colleagues just came and gave me an easy solution. He said that the problem is that your user 'administrator' is not ' administrator enough "-go figure. In fact, being in the Administrators group is not the same as being THE administrator account.1. create a shortcut to 'cmd.exe' on your desktop.2. click right on the shortcut and select "run as Administrator".3. in the command window that opens, "net start MSSQLSERVER" worksGood. So now I can go on this restart-SQL-Server-when-it-decides-to-die script for our customer site. Another sad story of Microsoft... -
System 5 error has occurred. Access is denied
I just installed Oracle 11 g XE on Windows 7. When I try to start to use the "Start DB" button, the command window appears with the text following (elipsis added to shorten the path):
--------------------
... server\BIN% net start OracleXETNSListener
System 5 error has occurred.
Access is denied.
... server\BIN % net start OracleServiceXE
System 5 error has occurred.
Access is denied.
--------------------
Can anyone please explain this error and tell me how to prevent (or if I can ignore it)? Thanks in advanceThe start menu option 'Start database' is really a call to StartDB.bat (in the bin directory).
On win 7 (and other), it must be run in an elevated privs command prompt. You can right click and run as administrator or a prompt in this way (run as..) and just call startdb bat file.
It is a known problem, by [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17781_01/doc.112/e21743/toc.htm#CIABHHDG] Readme, 2.2.3.

"An internal system error has occurred" when you try to install DirectX.
A week or so, I tried to install a game requiring the use of DirectX. Well when I go to install DirectX, it gives me an error that reads, 'an internal system error has occurred. " "Please refer to DXError.log andDirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine the problem."
I can't find the files mentioned above on my computer, so therefore, I can't see them.
Here's my DXDIAG:

Original title: can't set the fax modem in Win Fax & scanning
I have install Vista Pro on my laptop at home with me and wife that both put in place as administrators. I recently reinstalled (Clean) Windows Vista and am trying to reload all data and software.
I have successfully set up Win Fax under my account and power send & receive faxes, but when I tried to put in place the fax under my wife account I get the error prompt:
"An error has occurred. Try again or contact your system administrator. »
Prior to the re - install, I have had no trouble creating and directing Win Fax in both accounts.
I tried to remove and re-create the account of my wife, but all without success. It is a major pain because it is my wife who is the main user of the service of fax for his work.
Help, please...
