Netflix does not not on Toshiba 55L7463DN

Hello

I have a problem with netflix on my TV
I can connect and browse through titles, but play when I get the message:

"We have difficulties in playing this song at the moment. Please try again later or select a different title.

All tests are good, and netflix works on other devices (ipad, phone, PC) so guess not my network?
And also other applications on the TV work (YouTube, etc.)

Have tried turning off Netflix and factory reset but the same error...
Someone at - it had the same problem? Solutions?

BR

I guess that this message is created within the Netflix app. Right?

From my point of few, this case is not related to Toshiba network / could question but it is related to the Netflix app/service...

As mentioned in the message: "Please try again later or select a different title.

  • In Firefox 4 beta 7 and pre beta 8 netflix does not play said thaks for installation but says thank you for installation, why?

Netflix on demand video playing correctly in Firefox 4 beta 6, but is no longer works in later betas. When you try to play a movie, I get a message that says "thanks for the installation once the installation is complete, restart your browser to watch this film. I can still watch in Chrome and Opera (hidden under Firefox). Silverlight is up-to-date and I can see it in the menu plugins of Firefox. Anyone know why or how to do to fix this?
The answers would be fun thank you!

Netflix requires the Silverlight plugin, which does not work in Firefox 4.0 Beta 7 or greater on Mac OS 10.6, because of this bug:

    https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=598406

Bug 598406 - Silverlight not taken in charge by the binary i386/x86_64 universal on Mac OS X 10.6

As temporary workaround until this bug is fixed, try running Firefox 4 Beta in 32-bit mode, by following these instructions:

    1. In the menu bar, select Firefox and then select Quit Firefox
    2. Open the Applications folder in Finder and locate the icon of the Firefox application.
    3. Press and hold CTRL while you click the Firefox icon and select read the information in the list of menu items.
    4. In the "Firefox Info" window, click on the box in front of "Open in mode 32 bits" so that it is checked.
    5. Close the "Firefox Info" window, and then restart Firefox 4.

(The above steps have been copied to another article which suggests also run Firefox 4 Beta 32-bit as mode work around another problem plugin.)

  • Netflix does not load

I received a player NSZ - GT1 Internet TV & Blu - ray for Christmas and put in place today. Everything works fine, except for Netflix.

When I run the Netflix app, the splash screen appears, but the application goes no further. After some time, disappears from the splash screen and an error message appears saying that the app is unable to connect to Netflix. My options are to try again or quit the application. There is no other information but a suggestion to go to the website of aid which ultimately led me to this forum.

I did a factory reset and several soft resets without change. I am able to reach Netflix through the browser, but not the application. During the initial start-up of the system performed an automatic update. From what I've seen on various forums autour the interwebs, there were several problems after update the most recent firmware, specifically with Netflix. I've seen no report of this specific issue, or no viable solution.

    Any ideas?

Friendly hello and helps users of the Sony forum
You are not alone. I have exactly the same problem. I'm from the Sony Internet TV and Blueray. You download the update of the OS. Followed the steps correctly. But no Netflix. In addition, no YouTube or the other. Applications with videos will work effectively with their videos. However, YouTube and all kind of videos work on Google Chrome, but if I can't get this problem solved [do not get Netflix or YouTube the apps to work], I have need this product, because I have the Bravia TV monitor with a Tablet (Asus EEE slate) that I can hook up [with HDMI cable] and it will allow me to do what I normally do on Windows 7 and see it all [including Netflix and] YouTube on the browser] on the big screen of the Bravia television, when browsing on the tablet with its touchscreen. But he doesn't feel how it was not solved all this year. I suspect that there is a conflict between the update of the alveolar BONE and H264 video format using the Netflix app and YouTube app and other video applications.

I called Sony support and I was asked to reset and start all over again, but that did not help. The same problem. Netflix app tries to load, does not show recommendations or anything. Sometimes just stays stuck there with their red Netflix name screen, as if frozen, he sometimes goes to an error message saying to try again, and he suggests a URL for netflix to help. But I then have to force shut down the application.

Netflix has worked on a Roku 2 XS, but I traded for this Sony Google TV (Blueray) because the Roku product had no navigation on the web. I think Exchange this product Sony Internet TV for the Roku and save more than $ 100.

Any body else having this problem? All solutions? Suggestions? Updates?

    Thanks for your help,

    Jairo

  • Satellite 2800 - BIOS does not recogize Toshiba 40 GB HARD drive

I have an old Toshiba S2800 (if-200 questions in total). He was works very well with a 10 GB HARD drive for ages. Yesterday, I thought that putting his hard drive to a bigger.
Removed the old and installed a new hard drive, Toshiba MK4026GAX. On the power on the BIOS does not detect the HARD drive at all. I can hear the humming noise (platter (s) rotating), but apart from that, there is nothing. The BIOS indicates disk mode HARD is "unused" and also on page 2 is none shown on the primary hard disk IDE channel. (tried to boot Linux from a CD to see if who sees anything on the IDE channel, but apparently the primary IDE channel is disabled if the BIOS does not detect a master or a slave connected device). Change the mode of the master to the slave na HARD drive? t change a thing.
The BIOS version is 2.00. Tried to find an older one without success.

I thought that the BIOS has a limit of 32GB, but when I connect a 120 GB hard drive (WD scorpio), it has been recognized by the BIOS and the PC was ready to boot from the device.

I would have thought computers laptop Toshiba were at least compatible with another device (e.g. hard drive) Toshiba

Someone has any idea how to operate?

    Thanks in advance!
    Robbie

    Hello

It of very strange that the 120 GB HDD has worked on your old Satellite 2800 unit.
I know that the BIOS would not recognize these large HARD drive sizes.

In any case, seems the purchased disk is not compatible with your laptop and you can buy one that is supported.
I discovered that the 20 GB HDD MK2016GAP could be compatible

    Hi liitkjay,

There could be many causes for the issue. First of all, you can read the following article and try the steps to solve the problem:

Known issues and limitations of Netflix on Windows Media Center for Windows Vista

If you're still having problems, you can uninstall the utility software and check.

You can view the following link to uninstall a program:

  • Computer does not recognize Toshiba external 500G HDD - HARD drive

Sorry, I use a translator, because all the illiterate

A year and a half used the hard drive, and now the computer does not recognize it, the TV too.
In Device Manager, it is there, but says "initialization error".

    What should do?
    Thanks for the replies

You have partitions software installed on the laptop you?
I guess that the HARD disk does not appear in windows Explorer, but common partition as the partition Wizard tool might be able to recognize the HARD drive.
You can try to format the HARD disk and to create the new NTFS partition.

    Another solution:
Usually, you can initialize the disk by DiskManagement.

In disk management, right-click the disk you want to initialize and then click on initialize disk.
In the dialog box initialize the disk, select the disk to initialize.
You can choose to use the master boot record (MBR) or the style of partition GUID partition table (GPT).

Once a disk is initialized, you can create partitions on it.
After you create a partition, you can format the partition to create a filesystem (NTFS).

  • Mozilla web pages are white with text black\blue & netflix does not work Win10

Use Firefox to work fine but now it isn't (currently version 39)
At first I noticed that netflix produced an error when I tried to start the playback of a video, but after I uninstall firefox and remove all profiles she won't even let me visit the web page by giving this error

    The secure connection failed
An error occurred during a connection to http://www.Netflix.com/. The peer certificate has an invalid signature. (Error code: sec_error_bad_signature)
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

The other problem I've noticed is that some web pages are not correctly such as Mozilla forums is just a white text background blue and white

I tried every evening 64-bit laptop same problem
    Crome\Explorer work well

    Thank you

The difference between Firefox and IE/Chrome, is that IE/Chrome share the Windows certificate store. Firefox has its own certificate store. (That you have deleted by removing your profile.)

This error can be caused by a series of questions, but generally, certificates are generated by an intermediary such as a proxy server, your security or malware software. We look at who it is.

Q: do you use Avast, ESET, Kaspersky or BitDefender, or browse through a proxy?

If you have sites where you have created a security exception, like this site, check the certificate for more information on its transmitter. You can click on the padlock (or grey warning triangle) in the address bar, and then more than information, and then display the certificate. The areas to check are "issued by" and "hierarchy of certificates. I've attached a screenshot of this site as an example of screen. If you can't view it in Firefox, you can use Chrome. I have attached this example, too.

    What do you see?

Note: Firefox for Windows 10 support will be more complete version 40 which, if you're an early adopt, you can try in beta. I do not recommend nightly. https://www.Mozilla.org/Firefox/beta

  • Win Vista does not recognize Toshiba MQ01ABD050

I bought a Toshiba MQ01ABD050 and use it as a USB external drive, but unfortunately Windows Vista 32-bit, which is the operating system on my computer Toshiba A300, doesn't recognize.

I tried to format that lasts a few hours and then copied some things about it when the format is complete, but after the first cut the same problem remained - I still don't see my external hard drive, when I connect it to the laptop. Is it possible that I don't have the suitable driver for MQ01ABD050 and where can I find it?

I also tried to find it on the net but without success. There are also a few Windows attempts to find a driver after MQ01ABD050 USB connection, but without success also. Can anyone help me with any helpful suggestions, please.

Is it possible that I don't have the suitable driver for MQ01ABD050 and where can I find it?

I guess that you used an external USB to SATA adapter or frame.
In this case additional drivers are not needed because the USB port must recognize the plug ' n play HARD drive automatically.

I think you should try to connect this drive external HARD to another USB port and perhaps another computer just to check if the problem could be related to the USB port, USB-SATA adapter or HARD drive.

  • Netflix does not

my windows laptop has the Netflix app and everytime I try to open it it loads forever and that he has never actually access through. I tried to uninstall and reinstall silverlight plugin as well as the date is correct. I also watched my network connection and it was fine. It worked a month ago and I don't know what to do.

    Hi Quentin,.

Thank you for being part of the Microsoft Community.

    1. Since you say thatit worked a month ago"" you did changes in this period which can result in this error?

    2. is the specific issue of the Netflix app?

Try this workaround for problems where the apps do not begin or are glued to the screen:

    1. Open a Powershell prompt high by pressing the Windows key, type Powershell, and then pressing Ctrl + Shift + Enter
    2. Paste the following command in Powershell and run:
      Get-AppXPackage - AllUsers | Foreach {add-AppxPackage-DisableDevelopmentMode-register "$($_.) {"InstallLocation) \AppXManifest.xml"}

Back to us for any issues in the future. We will be happy to help you.
