Network Diagnostics says that the connection works but server problems?

I have Windows Vista on a Lenovo laptop. I recently got a new 2wire modem/router all-in-one of at & t wireless.

When I connect to the internet on the laptop wireless it says that I'm connected to the internet and when I get on my browser I get a server error. When I go through the window of diagnosis of windows it says that my internet connection is fine. I clicked on the option to turn off my card and plug it in again and my internet works then for about fifteen minutes before receiving once more the server error. Help, please! I have always connected and remained perfectly connected before to acquire this new modem. Another laptop I have is online and remains very well.

Is this a computer problem? Or a microsoft connectivity issue?

Try without commitment TCP/IPv6:

If you still have internet connection probs, one thing to try is the separation of the TCP/IPv6 (which is done by going to network connection > right click > properties > it uncheck > OK.)
