Network stops working @ Windows 7

Sometimes I just lose all network connections. I checked the event viewer, and he said: warning - customer DNS events

Name resolution for the name of redir.metaservices.microsoft.com has expired after none of the servers configured DNS responded.
Name resolution for the name of www.bloggportalen.se has expired after none of the servers configured DNS responded.
Name resolution for the name of cache.jobb24.se has expired after none of the servers configured DNS responded.
Name resolution for the name of gateway.messenger.hotmail.com expired after none of the servers configured DNS responded.
Name resolution for the name of www.google-analytics.com expired after none of the servers configured DNS responded.

It is only some of them.

To get my network/Internet to work again, I restart or turn off-> activate my network to the card settings.

This gets really annoying, most of the time it happens when I have much browserwindows opens, or when I open many programs that uses my connection (especially Torrent/DC).
I've never experienced this problem in Windows XP or Windows Vista SP1.

I run Win7 RC x 64, Networkdrivers 15.35_nforce_win7_64bit_international_whql.

It seems that a lot of ppl have this problem, but none has a solution.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

Catalyst Control Center is a Radeon video card component. I recommend that you go into Add/Remove programs and uninstall. Once you have uninstalled it click HERE to download and enable the parser should automatically detect and install the appropriate driver. If the installation of the latest version does not resolve the problem, you should scan your computer for malware using Malwarebytes. Make sure that you update the parser prior to analysis.

  • While opening a program get an error message: program has stopped working, Windows is looking for a solution

    Original title: error message:

When I try to open one of my programs, I get an error message states that my program has stopped working, Windows is looking for a solution

    Hi SheilaFrenchman,

    ·         Are what program you referring?

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         What is the full error message?

    Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

How to solve the questviewer.exe has stopped working windows 7

    using the analysis

    http://www.Malwarebytes.org/

Make sure your system is clean first. use ccleaner to get rid of junkfiles http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download

Also look for viruses either using avast and spyware using superantispyware

go to msconfig (type in the search box in startmenu or run in xp, and then press enter) then prepare your computer to clean boot by disabling all startup items and any of the services of windows, and then restart your computer. See if it makes a difference? If it did then you know who caused the problem.

you will also need to know is that "questviewer.exe"? It belongs to a program? If the answer is Yes try to update or reinstall the program, but before that make sure that the program is not hamful to your pc.

  • Network stops working after the installation of the VMware Tools on linux comments

    Hello

I m facing problem after that, sometimes, sometimes not after a comment tools and vmware linux installation.

If the installation of vmware Linux tools everything seems to work perfectly. No errors, nothing.

The last thing to do after that tools installed will run successfully is to run the following commands (produced by the message from the installation program tools)

    /etc/init.d/network stop

    rmmod pcnet32

    rmmod vmxnet

    modprobe vmxnet

    /etc/init.d/network start

This works fine as well, but after the next reboot the network stops working sometimes.

The linux guest runs under VMware Server 2 using tools VMwareTools - 2.0.0 - 122956.i386

The strange thing is that this happens all the time when install linux clients and tools.

    Guest operating system is RHEL40U5

Any help how to avoid this is much appreciate.

    Better with respect to Agent.

Why not add the commands above to the file etc/rc.d/rc.local. It will take a cae of the rest every time that you restart your virtual machine. I hope this helps...

  • Network stops working in Tecra M9 with Vista OS?

We have four Toshiba tecra M9 (processor T7500 2.2 ghz) laptop computers with installed in the factory version of Microsoft windows vista business and the other with toshiba charges not install Vista Ultimate version. All of these laptops have the exact same problem.

Network sometimes stops working and nothing but allows you to restart the computer?
Thing is that generally you cannot restart the computer event because it crashes of disconnection or closure of State.

Theres just no clear reason for this one and it happens now and then.
Sometimes several times a day and sometimes it works for days. No matter whether you are connected or not anchored. We have several workstations, PC and other laptops of brand with exactly same configuration/programs and no problem.

Any help would be great because users are not very happy with this situation and we do not want to go back to windows XP (which works without problem in M9).

Hmm. very interesting Question. Have you tried to update the BIOS?
How about the latest Vista patches and fixes?

I read that there are many bugs with Vista OS and Microsoft releases slowly unique fixed so I think you should check out these opportunities!

    Good luck

  • Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working (Windows 7, 64-bit)

I am trying to run Photoshop CS5 in 64-bit Windows 7. Everytime I open the program, I get an error saying "Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working", immediately after the startup screen goes away and the main GUI opens. The only option on the error is "close the program".

I'm on a computer with a processor i7 and 12 GB of memory. I have two Nvidia GTS 250 video cards, four monitors running.

During the last day, I reformatted my computer and reinstalled Windows twice. I reinstalled the CS5 Master Suite several times that I can remember. I also downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Nvidia video card.

I keep having the same problem whenever I try to open all of the programs in the suite CS5.

The only time where as I got near the do function was immediately after installing new Nvidia drivers, before restarting my computer. I could open only once without it breaking, once I restarted my computer, Photoshop kept giving me the same error everytime I try to open it.

I don't have any other software installed on my computer. This is a new installation of Windows 7.

I was on the phone with Adobe technical support for about an hour and a half, and I still have to get one unique suggestion other than to try with my unplugged network cable installation. Other than that, they seem to be fond of the transfer me back and forth between departments (and asking me to repeat all my information every time).

As you can probably, I am very frustrated at this point and would be very happy to suggestions.

    Thank you

    Trevor

    My scenario and history:

Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and now Windows 7 Ultimate

NVidia Quadro Fx 4500 screwing 4 monitors total SLi on or off - makes no difference.  Drivers are irrelevant.

    2 x Xeon 5160 (so total 4 cores)

    24 GB RAM

    PS CS 4 or 5

    4 monitors - Yep it's the thing 4 monitor.

Fails every time that you describe.

Comment - if you remote desktop on the computer - and so, indeed, use a single monitor - PS works fine.

A WORKAROUND solution for 4 or 5 - I don't consider not that difficult because you lose some features, but it gets you 99% it and is the same workaround for CS4 or 5

    Go to: Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 bit) \Plug-ins\Extensions\ (or CS4 - according to version)

    Look for the file:

    ScriptingSupport.8li

Disable this extension by renaming the file with a tilde before the name of the file.  So:

    ~ScriptingSupport.8li

Start Photoshop - it works and is essentially functional.

The only real drawback I found is that disable this script extension means that you cannot use some of the scripts integrated under FILE - SCRIPTS - larger PIA for me to be that of the Contact Sheet Builder no longer works.  But as I now use Lightroom to create planks-contacts - this is not a big loss.  Other features script - I'm sure is applied - but not to the point I find PS unusable.

ADOBE - if you read this - it was this extesión now for the last two editions of the PS.
