  This problem may occur if there are handles open with all the files in the USB (Universal Serial Bus) mass storage device are in use by another program.

  (c) type the drive letter of the USB device in the handle or DLL substring text box and press the search button.

  (d) find the process and its PID (process identifier) in the following box.

  (e) with a view to the processes of the system tree, look for the process according to the dialog box find handle or DLL.

  (f) press Ctrl + H to display the handles in the view in the lower pane.

  (g) find the file according to the drive letter and right click, choose Manage close.

  Step 1: I suggest to start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

• Wireless devices cannot connect to each other using the router EA6900

  I use the 2.4 Ghz network and none of my wireless devices are able to communicate with each other...  I could not connect to a wireless printer to my laptop wireless (through the router) and thought it was unusual.  I tried ping does not work either.  I then plugged a cable ethernet to the laptop and could ping the printer wireless without a problem.   I tried other devices (wired and wireless connections) and it seems that no wireless device can ping any other wireless device.  If, however, one of the devices is connected, it works fine...  All wireless devices to connect to the router and internet without problem...   I have an ea6900 and it works fine for me. Sounds almost like you are connected to the guest network which would be sort of this way. Did you do a power reset? It has never worked? Try to remove the power and back to see if it clears up it.

  1.) to run a machine virtual linux which performs calculations for my work

  Also, after startup, svchost.exe takes 100% of the use of the disc for anywhere from 1 minute to 3 hours.  It is usually about 5 minutes, but takes more time after an update.  I reinstalled windows many times, and the problem persists.  When no other applications running, 10 minutes after the start, opening of windows Explorer takes about a minute.  This computer has a disk decently fast (I tried to replace), a processor quad core and 16 GB of RAM.  When running normally, it is extremely fast.

  My problem is that when I'm at work, a team of 20 or so programmers and engineers may have to wait up to 3 hours for the use of the disc down before you start to work because Windows 8 is unable to work properly.  How can I get rid of this?

  To test... Create a folder on your desktop.  Copy some files into it - of different types.  I say COPY and not MOVE on the goal here - because you can just blow this folder and all that results from this folder later if it was all fair copies of things.

  Make a right click on this folder and choose "send to" and "compress (ZIP) file and give a name to the new 'folder '.  (It's really a file.)  On your desktop, you should have the original folder you created and copied some stuff in, and a new "folder" with the name you just gave.  If you open the 'new' folder - you should see the name of the folder that is still on the desktop and go to this folder, you should see the files.  You literally use Windows Vista to the 'discovery' inside a ZIP file as if it were a folder.
