New adapter plug headphone 3.5 mm

I just bought the HP Envy x 2 laptop and it comes with the new 3.5 mm headphone/mic combo. What kind of card do I need to use the headphones a lot that I already have with this new. Why change the port and if you change it, why not put the new and old for a while?

Thanks for your quick response. It wasn't quite what I needed, but it put me on the track to find the part I needed a 3.5 mm male adapter that connects to the new port of HP and splits then try it in 2 3.5 mm female ports, one for audio / headphones and the other for a microphone: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-MUYHSMFF-Headset-Splitter-Adapter/dp/B004SP0WAQ Best ASorkey

  • Tecra M5-388: touchpad question after you have connected the new adapter

    Hello

I have recently brought a new adapter to replace my old on my Tecra M5-388 by ebay, it has the Toshiba logo on it and safety symbols and plug in my mouse immediately after began to falter on the point that I rely on and the touch pad has become rather not consistent; Disconnect the power supply and it goes back to normal.

The thing is that the former adapter was a clover sheet plug in brick, even if this new is a figure 8.

  • Tecra A5: touchpad issues only when the AC adapter plugged

    Hello

I have a very strange pb with my tecra a5: when I plug in the power supply, my touchpad behaves oddly (latency), as soon as I unplug the power touchpad is ok.

I tried many things (including total reinstall + change the touchpad), the pb is still there.

An idea or a similar experience?

    Hello

Recommend to test this with the new adapter recommended by Toshiba.
I read here in the forum on a similar topic that could be solved by the new adapter.

  • Inspiron 5748 - new battery, do not charge, new adapter not recognised...jack/socket or Win10 problem?

Battery does not charge in my Inspiron 5748 - Intel [email protected] / 8 GB RAM / 1 TB drive / two years. I replaced the charger and the battery but the problem persists. I've seen on other mobile messages and wonder if this could be a problem with the connector/plug (between the adapter and laptop), and if I could replace that? In addition, the problem seems to have started when we went from Win8.1 to Win10; would that be a problem?

It is a hardware issue that will not be solved by a BIOS update.

If the system is under warranty, call Dell for the repair or replacement of the adapter / power to the system.

If it is out of warranty,

    1. try a new adapter Dell OEM.  It can solve the problem.

    2. in the case, replace the DC Jack:

    3. If that does not resolve the problem, it is the motherboard that is defective and must be replaced.

    =====================

    Repair Mac mysteriously mute

The background on the issue, is that there is a switch small sensor inside the plug headphones. When you insert a headphone jack, the sensor includes what is what and changes the setting of audio output for headphones. If you insert a jack for digital audio output, the unit switches to digital output. When you completely remove the plug, it should read the internal speakers.

The spirits tell me that there is a very good chance that you recently had something hostage in this port, a set of headphones or a cable leading to powered speakers, for example. When you remove the plug, something in the port have prevented triggering sensor properly. That's why you see Digital Out instead of the internal speakers.

The solution is to force the sensor to do its job. The safest way to do this is to simply run a plug in and out of the port, a few times. A large part of the time, this takes care of the problem by triggering sensor correctly. If this does not work, there may be dirt in the port. Before moving on to more invasive techniques, get a can of compressed air, plug the small tube which corresponds to the nozzle and the breath to air a few shots in the lane. With a little luck, should dislodge dirt and the port will operate as it should.

If this does not work, find a swab to foam tip that fits (electronics stores generally carry), dip it in rubbing alcohol and insert gently into the helmet in an attempt to wipe any tenacious dirt. I recommend foam rather than cotton fleece because the variety of cotton could leave the son behind. (This same technique works well with the bad conduct of ports from headphone output on devices such as iOS devices).

It is possible that dirt has nothing to do with it. On the contrary, it may be that the switch should just a subtle help. If a socket or a buffer does not work, I have heard people resetting successfully with a deft poke with a toothpick.

  • Do I need what anyone other than an adapter Plug and my standard charger to recharge an iPhone UK 6 to the Mexico?

I thought this info would be easy to find on the internet, but I failed to find anything conclusive.

We are on the way to the Mexico, which has two sheets and I think taken 110v of current. Do I need anything else that a simple plug adaptation for use the standard charger UK for my IPhone 6 (and 6s of the wife)?

    Thanks in advance...

That should do it, but I suggest you buy the adapter plug to the Mexico airport. IPhone chargers are universal voltage.

At this point I don't know if that's a problem with my computer POWER supply, battery or adapter.

    Any ideas?

    > The small LED on the laptop itself with a picture of a cap flashing...
If you have noticed a flashing there is serious laptop and hardware malfunction must be controlled by authorized technician.
Flashing code will appear if the power supply microcontroller detects the defects of material.

  • Who needs for new adapter disp wddm drivers.

First of all, I have an old HP pavilion a730n with a p4 3 GHz processor and 1.5 GB of ram worked with Xp, but I switched to Win7 Home Prem had find the compatible drivers. Finally got some help other people and things works better, but still had to settle for a generic vga controller that wouldn't show it even screensavers. went and bought a new adapter disp. (stealth radeon 9250, has 256 MB vid ram is supposed to be very good with graphics and 3d) should look a little more closely, because he had no win7 driver.  Finally found a good driver but it still rates 1 category Art because it is not wddm.  Is there a possibility to get a good wddm driver and will allow me to play the new flight sims I bought.  Advanced Janes attack aircraft will install but when I try to launch it, through the commissioning and shows me 600 x 800 settings when I try to change it, he says that he is unable to save the changes and then try to run but just hangs and I have to Hold power button close.  If I have to I'll just buy another adapter disp. compatibility check this time. I would just get a driver that works with the chipset 915g on this motherboard. Maybe I should just get a new motherboard, I think really it still has little life left is after all only a little less than 10 years and that continues. Have also noticed that windows Explorer crashes. Error Msg says 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and will stop' then the convenience store does its thing and never tells me anything. This happens only once in a while and I'm usually able to open the computer or another folder watching right away with no other problems. It is just a bug in win7 or is it my system tell me to get a new one.

    Hello:

The card you purchased is not Vista or W7 capable. No fix is available.

You need an ATI Radeon 9600 PCIe card in order to run W7.

    You must:

1 buy a W7 graphics card (for your model a used Dell Radeon x 1300 PCIe x 16 256 MB or a used Dell Radeon HD 2400 PCIe x 16 256 MB of eBay works just fine and low cost).  Just make sure you get a photo with a DVI port and not a head connector double DMS - 59.

    2. pull on the map not supported, and I have a tip for working with the graphics card integrated GMA 900 (915 chipset) If you have installed W7 32-bit W7.  The PC won't have aero, but everything should work (you will have graphics acceleration and you will be able to change the resolution of the screen.

    Here's how:

Download and run this video driver for Vista laptop for the equivalent of the laptop video card in your PC.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=447371&prodNameId=447348&swEnvOID=2096&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-47264-1

You should get an operating system not supported"error and the installation will end. Conclusion of any windows error.

Go to Device Manager. Click on standard VGA card. Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver. Select travel it my computer for the software method and look for the driver installation folder that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34749.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

On reboot, you should have decent graphics card.  WEI score will always be 1.0 because of the video card is not not completely able to W7.

  • HP Pavilion 6500 goes out when the power adapter plugged

My Pavilion 6500 (specifically dv6623cl) turns off when I plug in the power adapter. If I plug it in, then turn on the laptop, it automaticly turns off before loading windows. If the laptop is already started, and I can plug the power adapter, it immediately turns off. I can charge the battery without any problem, also while the laptop is turned off, but as soon as I turn it on with the adapter plugged it stops, I checked the battery through HP battery check and he said its good, he is holder of a charge very well and everything, the only change made to the laptop hardware wise was an upgrade memory I had no such problems until the upgrade of memory, but I do not see how it would affect the power on the aspect, in order to make a system restore, if ever, I need, the poweradapter must be plugged and theres other system functions that require the adapter complete, it is a question that must be corrected

    Hello

I read a few articles about it and it will work. However, you need to keep an eye on overheating. When it's too hot, I'd rather swich back to the old adapter or a replacement with the same characteristics. EBay is full of them, and some of them are even of real Chargers HP.

  • "HP adapter" smart message on laptop G60-535DX. How to stop without having to buy a new adapter?

    Hello

Our G60-535DX laptop recently started a message appear in the notification area of all the few seconds of reading ' for maximum performance, connect an AC adapter smart capacity higher.» For more information click here. »

My wife uses this machine for word-processing and simple web browsing almost exclusively, so power consumption is not a problem for us, it could be for online players, etc. The card we have is map of OEM supplied with the machine, so we are unhappy with the idea that we might have to buy a new adapter, useless just to remove this ad. If there is no other way to solve it, we ask that you provide the new adapter free of charge, since, in this case, you have apparently sold us the adapter incorrectly when we bought this product.

Thank you very much for your help.

    James Quinn

NO OPTIMAL SOLUTION I discovered that if you simply remove the battery while using the computer in AC mode. messages to stop. Apparently, they appear when the computer switches between AC power and battery. It works so, vice versa when running on battery power only.

Alternative WORKAROUND that I was going through all this, I discovered that changing the configuration of the power of "Energy saving" to "HP recommended (Recommended)" messages has stopped. I did however while the battery has been removed, and it is possible that the battery should be outside when you do this.

In ADDITION, our OEM adapter incidentally is 65 watts - people on other forums suggests that anything below 60 watts to be replaced no matter what.  We had connected him to a surge protector very old, which in theory could have been stealing power. We have therefore it directly into the wall. (Do this after that stop messages with different power configuration, so I don't know if this would have worked - but try anyway).

  • Adapter taken headphones iPhone 7

Is there, or is it still possible to have electric lighting adapter and a headphone jack. Basically I'm asking the lighting interface does support two or more functions at a time. I know that his first, but don't you think that apple or any other third party will make a plug adapter headphone dual-purpose. Thank you

No one can predict what will be available in the future. Right now the loading dock is expected to load and listen to music at the same time through a separate headphone outlet.

  • Question on AC adapter & plug on Satellite A300

    Hi all

I bought a new Toshiba Satellite A300-1ec almost 20 days, yesterday, when I plugged the cord to charge my cell phone, I find that it works well. When I went to the supplier he said that n adapter cord with plug is burnt, can this happen with a new, now what should I do... to get it replaced, or where can I find a replacement for her

  • Satellite P205: Touchpad does not work when the new adapter is connected

I got a replacement charger for my Satellite P205 but put it has A 4.19 instead of 3. 95 has, they said that it didn't matter, but since I use the charger, I have the following problems:

-Does not load properly and turns off after an hour.
-The touchpad has a mind of its own when the charger is connected (windows opens if hovering over button, through the screan jumps when I try to move it, freezes and disappears)
-Charger Word to say the laptop plugged in but not charging

What can I do to remedy these problems, the laptop works perfectly when the charger is not plugged in?

    See you soon!

    Hello

I guess that the touchpad worked correctly in the past with the former sector adapter.
    Is this good?

Well, it seems that these questions are related to the new power adapter and I would recommend using a 100% compatible adapter.

Check the AC adapter s old part number and if the issues could be resolved using this adapter.

  • Y510P problems with plug headphones

Hello. Unfortunately, this is my first post on the forums of Lenovo.

I bought Ideapad Y510P this week and here I first problem with it. This is a new computer, was only transported in the car, laid flat in his box. Today was the first day I tried connect headset.

When I plug them in at bottom right part just works. The left side is all silent. When I try to hook them up slowly, only left side works until I plug them all way in and only the right side then gives sound.

When I plug my headphones to halfway in (very difficult to achieve and the plug won't stay in all), both parties give sound properly.

Tried it with 3 different working pairs of headphones.

Check all the drivers (Realtek HD Audio) and it works. The work of speakers, wonderfully, only the headphone gives me problems.

    What could be wrong?

I must say that I was pretty desperate.
The laptop was taken instead I bought in and replaced by a new because it was within a week of purchase.

The service said it was a problem "integrated", coming from the product being badly done.
I wish I have a better solution for the Rangers, but the subject is now ready to be closed that I have a new thing.
