New battery is not detected on Equium A300D - 16 c

Hello

This is my first post on the site. I have a problem with a new battery on my Equium A300D - 16 c. (no battery detected)
The original I got the computer died after two years of use, so I had to order a new one to replace. I received and he himself works very well, giving me a charge of 90 minutes. But the problem is that it isn't detected by the computer when I click on the power icon on the bottom bar of the screen, so I know how much time I have left with him. In addition, the orange light which indicates that the charge should go white whether full cost, mine just started orange flashing after awhile (what is when it is fully charged?).
I got power to my computer a few minutes ago and he cut and I had to turn it back on, despite the battery in and it is complete free (as it has been in all day and the sector is since in periods of decent length).

What can I do to fix this?
Note that I'm not too good with computers, so anything can be better explain really, really just that I'm not the most skilled when it comes in this region.

Thank you

Purchased product Toshiba original after the part number, placed on the battery?

    Hi guys,.

I bought a U400-124 yesterday and replaced it today for the same model and I still have the same problem.

The works of portable fine when its connected to AC power, but as soon as I turn off the phone dies? It's not the charger which is the problem, I also changed. On the icon that indicates if the battery is being charged or not, it says "the battery is not detected.

    Hi Pete

You should update the BIOS to the latest version of the BIOS available on the European driver Toshiba page.
This should fix the battery problem.

But it s also worth calling the ASP in your country if there is a problem with the battery then guys could replace, but try the BIOS update first to my knowledge, this should help also...

  • Satellite A300-1BZ - new battery does not charge

    Hello

I bought a new battery (PA3534U-1BRS) because my old battery (3 years) hold office as well as it should!
The new battery will not charge, the Red battery light suggesting everything of fine, but then begins to Flash after 20 minutes.
When I turn on the computer the battery indicator on the taskbar in Vista tells me the device is turned on, but the battery won't charge.

The company where I bought the battery has issued me with a replacement, but I'll always have the same problem.
They have listed the battery as a genuine, and there any labelling even as my old battery.

The battery would be false or toshiba has changed the specifications of this battery in particular.
The reason for my last statement is the fact that my old battery contacts look more apparent than those on the new.

I have no reason to believe that the company is not kosher because I returned the first battery to address personally after realizing that they were on my doorstep!
    Fake or not compatible?

    The comments appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Maybe you used the battery is not compatible, but AFAIK the PA3534U-1BRS is designed for Satellite A200 A300 L300 L300D
    So it should work.

However, I recommend buying a battery of origin of Toshiba ASP.

Contact a local Toshiba authorized service partner and order a new compatible battery for this laptop.

I think the new battery should work.

  • New battery is not charged or recognized on my laptop satellite

    Hello

I recently bought a new and said to be the original (on ebay) battery for my laptop Toshiba Satellie. I have aready replaced my battery once with no real battery that hold less then a year. However, I got the "no battery is detected" when I have insalled first battery, and now I get the notification ' Plugged in and not charging.

I looked and tried several solutions found on the internet, including the re - install the driver ACPI battery and some ways to restart, but was not helpful. I suspect it has to do with my power adapter that is not in its best condition, or the battery itself is defective.

    I'd appreciate any suggestions.

    Thank you
    Eliya

    Hello

I think that the battery is not compatible / incorrect or defective.
First of all you n t need the drivers to operate battery
So if you didn't have the same problem with the battery, then I would say that the battery is not ok.

This means that you need test the other batteries...

  • battery is not detected, plugged in and not charging

    Hello

I have problems with charging the battery and my Windows 7. When starting, the battery is detected in the BIOS and load (led lit without flashing). As soon as the computer stops on my drive HARD and Windows loads, the light starts flashing, indicating that the battery is not. In Windows, the battery meter displays "no battery detected" or "plugged and no charging current.

At first I thought that my battery was simply grow old, but accident I forgot to plug in the power adapter and the computer came out of the battery for ~1.5h, even if Windows does not recognize a battery. This still applies, which I have not found a solution for another.

I tried to run the material off another copy of Win7 and the same thing happens. I did not have time to try Linux or Windows XP, since I don't own or. I also tried to uninstall the battery ACPI Control Manager device, but without success.

Any suggestion would be great, because I have not found that any forum messages similar to the following.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

  • My new airport does not detect my existing WiFi network, I can connect only via the LAN.

Bought a new airport 1 TB TimeCapsule and I wanted to add to my existing via a WLAN network. It does not detect it and I can connect only via the LAN. What I am doing wrong?

Unfortunately, unable to connect to a 3rd time Capsule part wireless using a Wi - Fi.

You need to connect to the time Capsule to your existing modem/router using a wired Ethernet cable connection, permanent... like the Time Capsule Setup Guide illustrates.

If you really don't want the time Capsule to connect using the wireless... she can do... If it gets a signal to another Apple wireless router. So if you were ready to add another Apple... as an AirPort Extreme router... and connect it to your existing Ethernet cable router/modem and configure AirPort Extreme to broadcast a wireless signal... .then.. .the Time Capsule would be able to connect in this way, assuming that he is where he can receive a good quality of AirPort Extreme wireless signal.

  • Portege M750-11W - new battery will not work

    Hi all

can anyone help, I got 2 batteries for my protégé m750-11w and they do not work and I wonder what I have to do a BIOS update for them. The batteyr in my protégé is PA3191U-5BRS and two new batteries are the two PA3191U-1BAS, and he says that this battery work where the - 5BRS was in use.

I updated my BIOS from version 1.6 to version 3 already and the battery still does not work I just get a blinking white cursor in the upper left.

Someone know where I can get an update of the BIOS except this battery?

    Thank you

    Tom

    Hello

This means that Windows doesn't start with new battery and you see only the blinking cursor?
This strange s you have connected the AC/DC adapter?

In my opinion, you must fully charge the battery before starting Windows. After that try it again.

    I bought a battery.

I put it in to the laptop and the battery light flashes just orange.
I tried to delete the adapter sector and battery and immobilizes the butter of power for 30-40 seconds before you put the new battery back in once, connect the captain and pressing the power button, but nothing happens. She is all orange blink.

I made a comparison with the batteries and both have the same numbers and codes.
I don't understand why it will not work :(

I assume that there are some compatibility issues if you order the original Toshiba battery with the same previous reference.

I have a cq5110y that I am trying to upgrade the graphics on.

I just installed a bigger power supply and is working on the installation of a Sapphire Radeon R7 240, but when I turn on my computer it does not detect the new hardware.  Am I missing a step?  Or is the card DOA?

The steps to install the new card were quite simple--plug it into the PCI-e slot and connect the monitor.  There was a note to disable any integrated first graphic, so I put the display to PCI-e in the BIOS.  Is that all I had to do to disable the integrated graphics card?  I think that this could be my problem?

Your Compaq Presario CQ5110Y desktop uses a chipset NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 seems limited to the PCI Express 1.0 version.  PCIe v1.0 is compatible front of PCIe v2.0.  PCIe v2.1 and above is not backwards comptible with your motherboard. Your Sapphire Radeon R7 240 seems to use a PCIe v3.0 card and is therefore not compatible with your computer. Please return the card for a graphic card PCIe v2.0 solve your problem.
