New bug Safari in Version 9.1.2 (11601.7.7)?

This can actually be a bug in the OS X El Capitan, and I'm going to cross post this info to the community under OS X.

Since the upgrade OS X and Safari this morning 30/07/16, I lost a specific feature across all three of my browsers I use, Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

(So far) the problem seems to be limited to the platform of Crowdfunding to Indiegogo and results in the embedded YouTube "Video Pitch" being invisible for me when I am connected to the Indiegogo site. https://www.indiegogo.com

To correct the problem, close the session, manually clear browser history and refresh to be able to view all the videos of Pitch. If I log in, I see is not only the embedded video pitch for my campaign, but one of the pitch videos. The problem is in the mode "view of campaign." If I select "Edit campaign", I see the fine pitch video. I tried to remove the video and to re-post the link nothing helps. I also tried to use the option "overlay on the Image for the video. I don't see view campaign mode once connected is a white space where the launch video should be. Th of the site is very well.

Once again, this problem is the same on Safari, Chrome, and Firefox and only occurred after I have updated to OS X.

Important to note I have not encounter any similar problem look at a YouTube videos embedded in other sites Web password required, like Wordpress, Blogger, etc. Indiegogo only and only when connected.

Also important to note: I use Safari as my main browser, and the browser I used to set my Indiegogo campaign and that I continue to use to change.  I've only seen the campaign in Chrome a few times as a guest, but I had ever seen in Firefox before this morning, yand the exactly the same problem occurred in all three browsers. This seems to indicate a conflict related to how Mac OS interpreter Indiegogo site.

I have a ticket open with Indiegogo. They suggested ordinary solutions, clear browser history, delete cookies, refresh, etc. But there is clearly a bug in game because it took place immediately after the upgrade to the latest version of El Capitan and occurs in the same exact way through three different browsers.

I have a workaround, which is to use two browsers, one to edit my site, the other to see as a guest (not connected).

Here's my version:

Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G 31)

Safari: Version 9.1.2 (11601.7.7)

Chrome: Version 51.0.2704.103 (64-bit)

Firefox: Version 47.0

Try a reboot.

Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

Isolate a problem by using a different user account

If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

    Historically, when PrPro has moved to a new version, it is has rarely updates for older versions. Can not say which is ALWAYS the case, but is usually.

    Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

    Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

    Uninstall your current version of Firefox, if possible.

    • Do NOT remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.

    Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

    I don't have the new FireFox Button in version 4.0 on my work computer to windows 7. I check the last version and it says I have the latest version of FF 4.0.

    To get the new user interface, you must hide the menu bar. Do, in the view menu, select Toolbars, then click on the entrance to the "Menu bar".

    If you need to access the menus, you can press Alt or F10 to display temporarily.

    I use on my MacBook Pro (early 2011) running Mac OS 10.11.2 Reset Safari Version 9.0.2 (11601.3.9).  Safari has acted a bit wonky lately.  It happened at the wrong url, suspended for several minutes (beachball), etc.  In older versions of Safari, I could access the Safari item in the menu bar and pull down to "Reset Safari".  This option is no longer available.  So, how can I reset Reset Safari Version 9.0.2 (11601.3.9)?

    But I don't want this drop-down list to be editable at any time, so I used the following commands in 0.9.1 to toggle the menu drop-down:

    iceCoDD1.enabled = false;
    

    Disabling still works, but re-locking does not work. It has no effect. The element remains Gray and unclickable.

    Is this a bug or expected behaviour?

    The second thing 'strange', that I noticed about qnx, drop-down menus, which was already present in 0.9.1 is positioning (z-index). The open menu is displayed behind all elements that were added after the drop-down list (addChild). I currently use this ugly workaround (at the end of my GUI function):

  • New Bug: Multiple video playback...

    I discovered a new bug that has to do with the video playback.  It seems that if you have more than one video integrated into an article, the software only allows the user to click a button to activate a video. If she is tempted to click a different button, if a video is already played, nothing happens.

    Scenario: I have an article that has videos integrated in a MSO. 1 State has a video and a button to launch full screen, 2nd State has another video and a button start fullscreen, 3rd State, not video, 4th State has a navto action which launches a linked video (iFrame, embed tag).

    1. I can play the video on the 1st, then the State 4th, jumpto and State play the external video, but I can't go back and play the video on the 2nd State

    2. I can play the video on the State 1, but I can then play the video on the 2nd State, yet, I can still play the exteriors on 4

    3. I can ignore the video to State 1, go to State 2 and play the video and of course still can play the video on 4 ext

    4. I can play the video on State 1, close the video, so I can't play the video from the sidelines.

    5. I can play the video on the State 2 (if I do not play the 1 State), but I can't play the video once again to State 2 from the button.

    I think this covers most of the scenarios. I need attention to this quickly because it is a large-scale project that was supposed to go live yesterday, but has been post-poned because the system has been for so long.

    ONE THING OF NOTE IN THE WORLD!  Before you report a bug, make sure that you have rebuilt your. File IPA (your app) as the new update can only show the improvements with a new Viewer implemented.

    You should probably just download the demo version of the EP 12 and see if you can live with it.

    PSE 1 can run on windows 7 x 64, if certain conditions are met.

    I use the Version 9.0.3 (11601.4.4) and X.11.3 El Capitan, normal notice even tiny text and I'll have to hit ⌘ - + 4 or 5 times just to get the size of normal play.

    No, I don't feel that.  You can press control + 0 to get the page back to actual size quickly if you find that does not happen.

  • FileReference save - bug Safari for Mac

    Hey guys, I'm running into a bug with FileReference save on Safari for Mac. All other OS and browsers work fine.

    I do something like this:

    My '_completeSaveHandler' function will never fire on Safari for Mac, and the pdf file is not saved.

    When I run the above code, I get the OS' save dialogue, and when I click 'Save' to save her dialogue, dialogue closes and nothing happens.

    Clues why this would only occur on Safari for Mac?

    I added a listener for the IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, and I get no error.

    The encoder Jpeg (using the lib of adobe), and save jpg feature works for all browsers on Mac 10.7.5, except for Safari.

    It seems that Safari doesn't save any file type - as I tried to save a PDF file (using the alivepdf library), and same story - works on all browsers except Safari Mac.

    Note that the FileReference save work in fact for all browsers on PC, including Safari 5.1.7 on PC.

    No online FileReference don't save examples work on Mac Safari 6.1.5 10.7.5, either. For example, try the example with Mac10.7.5, on this page (there is a SWF a little under the title "Examination of the sample request"):

    I'm 10.7.5, OSX Safari 5.1.7 on PC and Safari on Mac (same number on 6.1.3) 6.1.5.

    Update: I tested on a Mac with the latest OS (10.9.3) and FileReference record works on Safari with this version of the OS.

    So this bug is a problem specific to 10.7.5 OSX and Safari. I believe that Safari uses a webkit engine which is cooked in the Mac operating system, so it's probably a bug with the real operating system.

    Come play with the new version. While it fixes a few bugs (scale, for example), it introduced a new severe bug.

    I find that as I work, various elements (images, created in-house, imported forms not sure about type) variably change their VISUAL transparency settings. What I mean is that an image set to 50% transparency will change to something like 100% or 90%, or down to 0 or 10% - in itself.

    It makes it VISUALLY ony. Which means that the value of the digital settings remain the same 50%, but visually, it is obviously changed. The only way to restore the settings I've found is to go to the dialog box change the value to any other number and then change it back. He will then hold (especially) setting.

    I have not tried to publish/preview if this error display is active, so don't know if it spreads in the workflow.

  • NEW BUG! -7.1 new update for SOUL still obliges to RE-Transcode Bluray files

    As the title says...

    Before the update, you could Bluray (BLURAY H264) files and they appear in still as "do not transcode", but after the update all the exported files of the SOUL in the same Bluray H264 format appear as "not" transcoded in Encore and you are forced to re - transcode all over again for a 2nd time! Is this a bug? How can I get around this?

    NOTE: All export made of SOUL before the update still shows as "Conversion not" in still... only new exports (later updated) force that you re-conversion a 2nd time.

    More than the old version... the bug is in your understanding of the way it is supposed to work ;)
