  I don't understand why you don't want to create another cliché.  When you say you want to "update your original cliché", do you mean to regularly add new changes based on prior changes or do you mean that you want to have independent sets of changes to the initial snapshot?

  For the first case, simply create a new snapshot and then delete the old one.

  For the latter case, you will need to create separate snapshots.

  I changed the price of my application (from free) and now users who have downloaded previously are not able to upgrade.  Any ideas?  Is this a limitation of the App World?  Only one problem with the PlayBook App World?

  I usually release a free app at first in order to get through complaints and major bugs.  Then once in a good state, polite, change licensing to be a paid app.

  I think that if a user already has a license for the application, they should not need a new license to upgrade.  Or at least give the developer an option to load the upgrade or not.   I don't remember this ever hit with iPhone apps.

  Since the change of price, loads of users complained and gave me 0 star reviews because they can't upgrade! Yikes!

  Have you changed your signature between the free version and the paid upgrade keys. A key change prevents updates, as this becomes a separate app.

• PowerVault NX3200 (new) change from RAID 5 to RAID 6

  I have a new NX3200 of PowerVault Dell, who arrived in a couple of weeks.  I ordered it with RAID 5 (12 X 4 TB SAS).  In the coming weeks, my new Rack must be wired to the top so that I can turn on the PowerVault NX3200 for the first time.

  Question: I decided that I'd rather have RAID 6 instead of RAID 5 so that I can tolerate two 2 failures of disk rather than just a 1 drive failure.  It is easy to make this change?  I saw several YouTube videos that go through several examples of removal of the RAID arrays and creating a new RAID with Dell's PERC RAID arrays.

  Note: The slight decrease in the storage space that results will of RAID5 RAID6 is unimportant as I still have a lot of storage space for my needs.

  You can change the raid level of 5 to 6 on the NX3200 & it's pretty easy to do. Here is a link to the user guide of the PERC card that is in the system.
