  I finally (after 5 attempts) through the swamp on the other side.

  Here's what I did...

  1 uninstalled all of the CS4 program.

  2. manually deleted the folder under Program Files Adobe

  3. Ran the CleanCS4 program, who told me that I had to run microsoft windows install clean up utility

  4. has opened a new Director on my office profile

  5 install CS4 here

  6 open photoshop

  7 open acrobat.

  (I think that's everything now works).

  Tried the software. Its the same thing as what I downloaded when my own outdated software did not work.  I tried to add a USB in addition to the wi - fi connection. The computer then saw the drive.
