  Although I have studied this issue in forums, I'm still without resolution. New default event for the calendar of 'Calendar' in the game on my Mac of calendars even when it is initially unchecked and hidden in the calendars list.

  Well, here's the scoop:

  To set the default calendar, open the calendar, choose calendar > Preferences, and then click general.

  I found my problem.
  The USHolidays calendar was read only and some how has been chosen.
  When I select my home calendar I can now add new events/tasks.

  Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

  Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

  I migrated the data from my old computer to my new MacbookAir (Yosemite 10.10.4). But I find the ical now birthdays and holidays from UK and won't allow me to add new events to the calendar. I prefer not having to open iCloud but want to personlize the calendar with my own events and subscriptions. How can I "unlock" the calendar?

  When I add a new event to the calendar, I type the name of the event in the field, change the time, add notes, etc. When I press return, the new event indicates briefly on the calendar as what I typed, but most of the time, it is up to 'new event '.   I use dynamic registration of events to manage my user interface events in an another VI.  Whenever I have add a new event, the event registration refnum breaks and me have to recursively go through the code and replace all occurrences.  Is there a method of transmitting refnums record event so that it does not happen?  It should be a strict type def?

  Right-click on the wire on the record node, select Create indicator.

  On the Panel before, do a right-click on the reference control, select-> Advanced-> customize. A control editor will appear, select in the top bar on the ring 'Typedef' instead of 'Control '. Register the control.

  Now, in each VI, you use the reference, you need to replace the control. Check the Help window for each wire if it is bound to the control typedef.

  Now, to see if it worked, change your registration, everything must be interrupted.

  Create a control (of new ref) and replace the old typedef control (.ctl file) with new reference control. Automagically everything should be updated and working again.

  For the "what's new" to go to another screen when sorting by Favorites, you need to open 6 other applications several times, then you have opened "what's new". If it does not move, first try to restart the watch and if it does not help, try to reset setting-> reset SmartWatch.

  I actually just talking about that the other day. Unfortunately, the timing is all or nothing. I have connected, but more deleted contacts from Facebook. I still get alerts on their birthdays. I don't want notifications for each group, only some of them. I decided that I should just disable all this, which has resolved for now. If all goes well at some point in the future, we can select which show people, or at least have more control over the notifications on the lock screen.

  Re: your 'friend' Lincoln... do you by chance a calendar with the parties on this subject? Tuesday's (president Abraham) Lincoln's birthday.

• How to: set the time zone on a new event before adding it to the calendar?

  I want to add a new event to the calendar, but when I do gets set to a time zone from the casablanca time which means GMT, I want to solve it the current time zone of users.  What is happening now is that if the user manually changes the time zone then the start time of the event changes too.

  OK, never mind, my Simulator has been updated with the different time zone, I thought he would pick uop, the right one.  Once I manually put itt o the right zoneit works as expected today.

  If you want the code to run repeatedly, you will use an enterframe event.  a typical example would be to animate an object on stage:

  I've updated to iMovie 10.  He created a new library.  When you use Show Package Contents, I see events and clips are original media.  When I opened the app, I see the events, but there are clips 0 indicated in each event.  How to recognize the clips?

  Looks like you have imported content in your new iMovie library, but there is no actual clips showing events you have in your library. I thought there might be a problem with the new library, or something could have damaged the library when the import was made, so I would like to start by creating a new library, once again the disk inside your movies folder:

  If the problem persists with the new library, then I create a new user admin on your computer and see if you can reproduce the problem there.
