• New Firmware, id3 and ReplayGain problem tags

  I have problems getting a few metafields id3 showing correctly with the new firmware (1.02.26F).
  With the previous firmware, I used 'id3v2.3 + id3v1' type tag and it work perfectly, but with the new firmware it does not recognize the ReplayGain values. So I tried with id3v2.4, but now it does not recognize the metafield value type and with some files show strange values for track/Album Gain (e.g., dB-46 shows, 440, instead of + 3.56 dB. It is interesting-46.44 - 3.56 =-50; or dB - 48, 10, instead of + 1.90 dB. (- 48.1 - 1, 90 = mmm... okay, all mp3 files with track/Album Gain greater than 0.00dB show '-50.00 + realvalue'). If I play these files with ON Replaygain, volume will be very slow (as expected) and it is not possible to change the output volume (i.e., the output volume is the same what the Volume slider position is located, except in muted, which will cut.) I guess, because the gain is too important, volume slider to maximum is not enough to ensure that the output out of minimum volume).
  I mean, mp3 files with:
  -' id3v2.3 + id3v1' and "id3v2.3" types of tags, will not show Replaygain values;
  -' id3v2.4 + id3v1' tag types, does not recognize kind metafield.
  -the types of tags "id3v2.4", recognizes no Genre, artist, Album and title metafields.
  ReplayGain values - > 0.00 dB, will display an incorrect value.

  In addition, in the track info:
  -None of them show year;
  -List them all track number as xy, where x = TRACK number and y = TOTALTRACKS metafields.
  -Ditto for the number of the disk. XY, where x = DISCNUMBER and y = TOTALDISCS.

  I tag with foobar2000.

  In regards to the Vorbis comment, works perfectly.

  Apparently there is incompatibility of all a rocket with foobar2000 mp3 QS.

  For the bug ReplayGain, Fuze will have problems reading the values with the "+" inside. I remove the workaround Nice '+' with Mp3Tag as shown here .

  This will also fix the value TYPE showing a minor issue "unknown."

  Date field still will not appear in the track info, although (zero size).

  Regarding the TOTALTRACKS thing, is how foobar2000 stores in id3 as explained here:

  [HydrogenAudio] Mapping tag foobar2000:ID3

  TOTALTRACKS: Stored in the same frame with TRACK number, separated by ' / ': for example "' 4/9.

  TOTALDISCS: Stored in the same frame with DISCNUMBER, separated by ' / ': for example "1/2 '.

  so Fuze displays the correct values, but it cannot show ' / '.

  Basically, marking with foobar2000 mp3 files:

  "ID3v2 writer compatibility mode" - ONE-> Fuze won't read ReplayGain values calculated by foob2000.

  'ID3v2 writer compatibility mode -' OFF-> Fuze will not recognize kind metafield.

• New firmware, new problems with EA4500

  I logged this morning to a new firmware on my EA4500. I have disabled the automatic upgrades when I got the device because at the time of the hidden networks was not supported by the firmware of the Wi - Fi chip.   Try the Revert to previous FW?

  Safely update FW, I recommend doing the following:
  1 save the router config to the file first using IE or FF with all modules disabled security.
  2 factory reset the router with all devices disconnected or turned off accept for 1 Wired PC.
  3 reload or update the FW using IE or FF. Just download the FW file to your wired local LAN PC.
  4 factory reset the router and then set up from zero all first and test with loading saved configuration from the file. Check if problems are solved before loading the saved configuration file.

  The first time that you access the books, it's confusing, but take a look on all small three points at the bottom of the screen after you type the central point.  This reveals that there are three screens partitions via slide to right or left on the touch screen.

  To navigate between the choices, some books with a single tap Center, then sweep right or left to go between Audible / books / Podcasts.

  If nobody here can offer you the right answer, I recommend you contact the France Toshiba service provider and ask them. They have direct contact with Toshiba France and can verify this information or perhaps send you a most recent and the most recent update for your Toshiba TV.

  Still more to add:

  -Secret function (undocumented) on firmware version (low pressing button more in combination with the wheel upwards at the same time) must be placed in the regular menu (say under menu of PARAMETERS such as the VERSION of the FIRMWARE.
  -Also autofocus (enabled/disabled) must exist in the menu
  -Combination of bottom more button and jog now could be used for manual focus adjustment (if auto-focus is turned off in the menu)

• KDL46V5100 and new Firmware

  I downloaded and updated firmware ER4.12 - E328 on my KDL 46v5100 connected to Frontier Motorola 7216 - 1 FIOS box via a HDMI cable. Sporadically, he loses the image and sound after the update. • The new Firmware...

  Well... I downloaded the new firmware three times and it still doesn't work. What is happening is: I click on the icon (I put it on my desk), he asked me "do you want to run this file? But he said that I had to clear 6 MB of free space on my camera - I did everything what I deleted still shows up on my device so that I could not download the firmware, then I just gave up with it because I've had enough with it does not properly.   The original video had problems with bad Soldered joints on the battery terminal wires. Sorry to say, this is what it looks like happened to yours. If you are adventurous and handy with a soldering tip fine iron (or know someone who is) you can probably fix it.

  You can Google "dismantling the Sansa Clip" and find all kinds of Youtube videos and other pictograms on the way to get it out without damaging it and put it back together. Otherwise, I fear that it is ruined; transfer the files out of it (as long as it always connects to the computer) and get a new player, maybe a Clip + or Zip if you like the small size and as a bonus, these new players have a SC slot to expand memory.

  Have updated the new firmware and have found a bug. Earlier, I tried to delete a video. The video has been removed, but the entry (name) was still in the list. When I tried to play the deleted video once again the player has frozen. Had to do a hard reset to turn off the player. Only an update of media corrects this.

  For me it should have been found and corrected until the firmware has been released. Hope this can be fixed quickly. THX.

  [SOLVED]

  Backup everything on your drive and format the drive again using the FORMAT command in the menu of settings on the "rocket". Put the content back on your rocket and the problems disappear.

  This message keeps poping up ("Please designate the path of the new firmware") when I try to update the firmware on my router WRT110 wireless, even if I used the button BROWSE to select the new .bin firmware file.

  Have you tried another browser to update the firmware? How about you try it on another computer? If the two do not work, try to power cycle the router (unplug the power for two seconds) then once the power led is solid, try the update again. If the update will still not proceed, reset the router by pressing the reset button on it by using a PIN or a paper clip for 30 seconds. It shut down again for another couple of seconds. Once the power led is solid, try the update again.
