New ink cartridges do not work

I inherited a printer HP Deskjet 3070, which has already been used. I bought new ink cartridges, but when trying to install these has received the error message that I need to use the cartridges of the establishment to assess the ink levels and once this is done can change for the new cartridges.

Unfortunately, the printer cartridges comes with do not seem to be setting up those and now the printer accept the original or the new.

Does anyone know how I can go forward - it doesn't seem to be any problem with the printer?

  • Branch HP4500 black new ink cartridge does not work

    I have the HP Officejet 4500 series printer. When I repaled branch HP 901 black cartridge is new, the alignment page went without black, undetected illustrated message text.     I just bought a new ink a few hours there are the target. I played the installation video and proceeded to the installation of the new ink cartridge. Once I had finished the following pop-up came, "remove and install the specified cartridge, ensuring that it is completely installed, and then tap ok."     Hi, sorry to hear you're having this problem with your new HP power. If you still receive the message after several attempts of insertion of the new supply try to clean the electric contacts following the instructions of Solution 3 in this document support.

    If this does not resolve the issue try reset the printer (Solution 6 in the same document) and if this does not solve it yet take the offer to return to the store and get it replaced.

    I see that you have some problems with your desire 4500 e - all - in - one printer which rejects a cartridge. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet, not a surge protector. When done, make sure you use real not reloaded cartridges. If the cartridges are genuine and not filled, this document explains How to fix the errors of rejection cartridge with your printer.

    I'm having the same problem.  New cartridge.  I bought a pack of three for $59.00.  I think to install a new one and return to the rest of the three Pack if one is defective.  Don't know what else to do.

    Please perform the below mentioned steps, which should solve the problem.

    1. Check the level of ink on the ink cartridges, it should be full of > 25%.
    2. Press on the SETUP ( button tool key icon), and then
    3. Press TOOLS , and then select CLEAN PRINTHEAD.

    You may be able to execute the above mentioned as follows at least for 2 - 3 times.

    If the problem persists, call the HP TECHNICAL SUPPORT for assistance.

    If you're not in the United States, and then connect to www.hp.com , bottom left it is an icon of the world map, click it and then select the region that you belong to, which would then provide the support options for you for this region.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500: new ink cartridges does not

    I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500.  It's probably 2 or 3 years.  He says not what 8500, but I think it was
    a diagnosis 'as model A909a.  My level of printing showed that the black ink cartridge must be replaced.  I knew too because what should have been print black was printing a red light faded.  I replaced the black cartridge with a HP product, but it is always print red and get more faded.  Any ideas what could be the problem?  Thank you!

    UPDATE!  Good news!  Somehow I discovered that I needed to update the software. I think it could have been through the option "Scan Doctor".  When I tried to install the software on your computer it wouldn't.  But I went directly to the HP software download site, informed my hardware information and that worked!  I downloaded and installed the updated software and that fixed my problem of black ink cartridge.  I'm so happy and proud of myself!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500: New color cartridges do not work

    I have the model A909a. It was working fine until I replaced the old ink cartridges. Since I put in the new, black works well enough, the magenta works occasionally and work of yellow or cyan at all. They are not expired. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions.     As you have tried cleaning print head, the question could be the print head.

    You may need to replace the printhead (cyan/magenta or yellow/black)

  • HP Officejet 6700 main Premium: Blue ink cartridge does not work

    Hello, I have checked the ink cartridges levels three color and just installed a new black ink cartridge.  I did a test of color, which shows any blue.  I did all three levels of cleaning the cartridge heads.  The screen still shows that I have adequate levels of ink, but no blue out at all!  There was a drop of blue outside the cartridge, so it's not like it is clogged.  Thank you!

    That's really all that you can do and really all I can do you! The print head is probably the issue.  Please contact HP phone Support and see what they can do to help.

    As noted above, the printer prints just black.  It is a new cartridge.  Not my first rodeo, I replaced the cartridge several times, so I don't know how to do it.  I get no error message.  When you check the ink level, he recorded as complete.    What is happening with this?

    Otherwise, if the printer is out of warranty, one thing that might be worth a shot is to soak the printhead...

    (1) get a pan and put 1/2 "of very hot (not boiling) water in the bottom.
    (2) remove all ink cartridges, then remove the print head Assembly.
    (3) gently put the printhead nozzles down in water and soak for 5 minutes.
    (4) remove the print head and gently dry the electrical contacts.
    (5) replace the print head in the printer and then reinstall the ink cartridges.

    I have a longer printer hp psc 1210 and never had any problems until recently.  I ran more ink color and black print just for a few months, but now that I finally bought several cartridges color it does not print colors and I get an error message saying that the tri color cartridge is not compatible.  I checked and this brand is compatible with my printer, I tried to take the cartridges out and put them back in and unplug the printer.  I tried to clean the electrical contacts, and always the color will not print.  I even bought another another brand color cartridge and tried and still no luck! What can I do else?

    I understand that you get an error of ink cartridge rejection. I would like to look at this document here the addresses of ink cartridge for your printer errors. It will show you how to remove and inspect the cartridges with the printer disconnected. It will also show you how to clean the cartridges and the printer falls. Since you mentioned that you cleaned the contacts on the cartridges. compare the methods you employee against the instructions and make sure to follow with the falls of the printer in order to ensure that all the build-up has been removed from cleaner.     My printer photosmart D5160 HP need of ink so I bought the black (98) and three color (95) and install. They have not been rewarded. I used the tool kit to see if the ink levels are detected and no cartridge is detected. Red Exclaimation of printer lite flashes. I have several times gone out cartridges, cleaned the contacts and install. I turned off the printer, waited 10-15 minutes and turned it back. Still nothing. I had this problem 2 years when I replaced the cartridges but ultimately the printer detects them. I have a problem with the cartridges I bought or is it the printert? Everything was good with printing until I became a faded print copy and decided to change the cartridge. No error message, no flashing lites. As soon as I removed the old cartridge and reinstalled - it's at the beginning of this flashing red exclaimation lite.

    I got a solution to my problem thanks to Advanced Tech Support with HP. Did you know that the printers are defined at the regional level? Yes, indeed. USA is region 1 and region 2 is Europe. It is defined by the settings of the software. HP has kindly give me the region codes to reset my printer to region 1 USA bought German so he will accept cartridges USA version. Perhaps in the future these regions will disappear and the world community, that we all will be Preval? In any case, Bravo to the team Advanced Support HP that has therefore reactivated me.

    I had my recharged cartridges and use afew times my 6700 report they are empty and they are not.

    Replace the cartridges per HP cartridges to see if it solves your problem. If it isn't your refills are defective.
