• Flash playback problems since upgrading to Firefox 40

  I asked yesterday and received no response, so I'm posting again. Here a lot to hear some thoughts on what it is and how I could fix is, so I can update to the latest edition of Firefox. Anyone? Thank you.

  I was invited to move to Firefox 40 today, and as soon as I did, I started to have problems with video playback on YouTube and various other sites. The video has been slow, the sound is distorted. I have the latest version of Flash installed. Everything worked perfectly before the upgrade.

  Just to see, I went down to Firefox 39.0.3 and playback problems disappeared. So needless to say, I will not be upgrading anytime soon. Is this likely a Firefox problem, a problem of Flash, a problem with my computer? I am running Windows XP. Any help, thoughts would be appreciated.

• New on dreamweaver... local problem of downloading files on remote site...

  all new to dreamweaver (mx... by the way)... having problems with an ftp connection and downloading the files from the local site to the remote site... all the information appears to be entered correctly in the Manager section of site (local site, remote site... I need test site?) I have no problem to download all the old files Web site in dreamweaver , but then when I go to register a new, it will not download the remote site...
  what I'm really trying to do is to update an existing site, flash slideshow by adding a few new JPEG images and remove some 'old' and then update all image.xml by a new text files to coincide with the new photos in the slideshow. but when I go to save any work that I have done, it will not save and upload them to the remote site.
  any help to solve the problem would be useful...

  The error means that DW still think your Checkin/checkout is enabled.

  Follow these steps:

  1 using the site manager, create a NEW site definition that points to the same
  local and remote sites than your original.
  2. to connect to the remote site.
  3. find and DELETE all instances of *.lck at the remote site.

  Now, try to import the file. What is going on?

• Camelio S10 HD video playback problem

  I looked at all the other issues first, honest! I purchesed my shiny new camelio S10 and it works perfectly, bar when I try to play videos filmed in HD on my pc. Ive tried the following alternatives

  1 not hd, version 4 star, works very well
  2 playback on the real camera is perfect for hd and non hd
  3 ive tried using the supplied software, quicktime and one other player called dirx
  4 ive tried all above on another computer

  None solves the problem of the HD video being dried after about 4 seconds, regardless of the size of the file, and then it just jams and plays the odd field, which remains frozen on screen HD perfect but used to move

  Any help would be really appreciated.

• New X120e: slowdown in hard drive problems

  Hello. I bought a brand-new x120e last month and I feel stutters intermittent video (but not audio usually). He plays very well for a few minutes, then I get massive frame drops and resumes after a few seconds. This problem can be seen with mpeg videos 4 code of SD resolution. Initially I suspected that my videos have been corrupt, but they are actually perfectly fine (even video will be stutter at various points. They are also very well on other machines). I tried at least 10 different videos, and the problem can be seen in each of them.

  I tried VLC, windows media, classic CCCP Media Player, player and they all have the same problem.

  When I look at the CPU usage history, there is no unusual spikes or falls in the use of the CPU for stuttering (constant at 20% or more).

  I had the same problem with the stock drivers. I installed the latest update of drivers and bios Lenovo site but same problem (I also tried the drivers far more directly from AMD, but uninstalled prompty them because they seem to break the brightness of the screen.) Unfortunately I forgot to try video playback).

  I tried to disable all the options from the Catalyst Control Panel, but no improvement in video post-processing.

  I'm sure this isn't malware or virus related - I have MS security essentials running home and I didn't download all applications other than steam, chrome and above media players.

  Flash (youtube, etc) and video Netflix seem unaffected.

  I suspected that maybe my HDD wakes up from his sleep after a few minutes of inactivity, but I doubt that's it. Power management settings are defined so that my hard drive goes to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity, but the saccade occur more often than that. (Besides, I don't think that video playback counts as inactivity)

  While I was watching the resource monitor during playback of movies, and there are spike use highly visible hard drive for stuttering. I tried to increase the size of buffer in VLC settings and that seems to help a lot.

  But I found a behavior more disturbing while experimentation. It seems that whenever there is any vibrations or movements, the drive slows down. This could be constantly observed by typing or moving the laptop while the benchmark of HARD drive is running. It is about half of what he would normally get.

  I don't know if this is a defect or some sort of safety mechanism, but I have half a mind to replace it with the SSD. Users of laptop lenovo saw something like that?

• 16-bit playback problem

  Hi all

  I'm having a problem with the reading of a 16-bit image using labview. The story is that I record 16-bit images with labview BUT subtract the value of the lowest gray before record (i.e..-32768). Thus, the new range of grayscale is 0-65 536 instead of 32768 to 32767. So far so good, the problem occurs during playback of images using the vi anthers that we use. The images are truncated 32767 and anything between 32768 and 65536 is lost! Reading of post-processing is kind of meaningless since the info is already lost.

  Can someone help with this problem I will appreciate it.

• Sudden Timeline Lag and playback problems.

  Running the trial of Adobe Premiere to see if its for me. So far I am enjoy it more than Sony Vegas, seems to be much easier to learn and less prone to crashing. I use it try changing a few videos for about a week now and all of a sudden it has started to be very slow. Initially, I had the reading window on the full resolution for both still and during playback, I then noticed that he started trolling, so I dropped down the resolution at 1/4 for both. Fixed it for awhile, but now he starts trolling the 1/4th the quality and I don't see a way to solve this problem. I have not plugged in the additional audio devices or removed something. First just seemed to stop being free of lag. Now, it takes about 5 seconds for her to start to play after I press space and even then he falls officials and freezes the video.

  I also tried to work on a different project that did not freeze for me and he began to do the business of freezing, dropping frames, etc. I don't know what could be the cause.   Well first really not very well on a single disc system especially hard it the drive is 'green' drive or a disk drive 5400 RPM. If you want good operation and we'll add another drive, any good SATA III SSD transfer rates are about 3 times higher than hard drives.

  Where you see the "/ / this is really a search" is never executed because "collName" var returns a string "< more_lower_case_text_here > _player_s_17463_t_2011-08-17t11_05_00-04_00/AVManager" where the "upper case T" is now tiny too! which causes the "seekTime" to be "NaN" from the glance upward in _offsetTable [collName] does not refer a valid number.

  Anyone else seeing this? Anyone can reproduce this?

  PS. I'll try a temporary solution to the bottom of the archiveIDs box before my app it sets in the ArchiveManager, but I would like to know if I'm crazy or we can expect in the future a bug fix

  I can reproduce.  I'll put it on our bug queue.  As you mentioned earlier, must use all lower cased archiveIDs until this is resolved.

• iOS 10 music playback problems

  Is anyone else having issues with playing music after that 10 updated ios? For example, when listening to music a song will suddenly stop and start a new song. Or the next song will not begin at the beginning that it will start a few seconds or in the middle. I have an iphone 6, with, if that makes a difference.   Yes, I've noticed this also. Sometimes the music will stop playing just when I leave enforcement of music - not when I'm in another application, but when I go to the home screen. Sometimes songs start to half way through. Other songs, which are supposed to start for example 1m30s (play this way in iTunes because of the opening of gossip), start from the beginning. Sometimes when a new song starts, the iPhone continues to play the old song, as if it's over - it's right there at the end of the progress bar.

  None of these problems are constantly appearing. They come and go.

  Details: iPhone SE, without Apple's music subscription, all the music is synchronized from my computer on my iPhone. Reading most done by a bluetooth speaker, and reading the most comes from smart playlists.

  I didn't like the new firefox 40 was the problem. To make it worse in chrome videos have been hanging out at all, but when I restarted my computer it could not restart correctly. I've seen this kind of problems with the RAM sticks before so I said to give it a try.
  The sticks were very hot and one of them showed signs of oxidation.
  I cleaned the with an eraser and now the computer works fine again.

  I have 4 GB ddr2 800 adata vitesta 4x1Go sticks.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).
