  It's pretty normal. All your images are always on your old computer and you transfer those to your new computer. Just transfer them as well as your catalog file and opens in Lightroom on the new computer. For presets, you need to transfer files, preferences and presets that are hidden in folders hidden on the Mac. Therefore, with the Mac, when I update the machines, I'm usually just restore from a backup on the new computer (very easy with Time Machine backups) or directly from the old machine (a little harder). This will give all files and settings and the software installed on the old machine immediately and you can just continue. Is not something that Adobe can really help you with either said by the way, but you might have someone from the Apple Store help you with that, if you are not comfortable with moving files to a new computer.

  Cc of Lightroom is simply a version update of Lightroom 5. CC requires a monthly subscription that pay you apparently. You did not use the software you pay for if you use 5 Lightroom on the old machine.

  If you use OS X El Capitan on your MacBook Pro MacBook Air will have the same OS X so I see no reason why he would not compatible. If you connect to it via an ethernet cable from the Pro and you want to do the same thing with Air, you will need to buy a NIC for Air

  I will literally ' crazy for this problem. I have an iPhone6 with OS 9.2 with has been used in the past months with my macbook. First simple to match my macbook with the iPhone and in about five minutes, I was able to use iTunes without cable using my wifi, sending messages, using FaceTime and (first of all the most important of them) was receiving cell calls when my iPhone was not near to me directly on my macbook.

  Recently, I bought a new Mac 2011 (same year of the macbook) and move all the files and the settings, I've already had my MacBook on this new device. I upgraded two devices for 'El Capitan'. I am able to use FaceTime and I message but not the calls on my new Mac when the iPhone is close to me. I tried to go into 'settings' of the iPhone like I did with my macbook the first time, when I go settings > application to other devices > allow calls on other devices, the only option I have is to allow calls on my old macbook, but I can't find my new Mac. I also tried to restart the network on my iPhone settings but nothing seems to change... Anyone know why I can do? Please help me!

  Not as strong black and white contrast on my new Macbook Pro retina adjustment last version of El Capitan. The black color is certainly lower than in my previous MacBook Pro. The contrasts are not as sharp and the screen has a grayish tint which I'm having a difficult time of adjustment. It is not my eyes. Any tips? Thank you. WillyG

• New MacBook 2016 freezes often

  I bought this new 2016 MacBook a few months ago and it works all the latest OS X patches. I used to keep open Mail, Chrome, Evernote and Safari. Often, at least twice a week or more, this MB freezes. I could be browsing on Safari or reading emails when the trackpad jams and the cursor disappears suddenly.

  I removed most of the applications from loading at startup to keep only Avira and 1PW. Always it blocks for no apparent reason.

  Each time to restart the computer, the system asks you to send the diagnostic tests for Apple and I write a short text explaining what I was doing.

  I was wondering if someone else runs into this kind of questions where appears the black screen of death or the trackpad blocks.

  This looks like a serious problem. My suggestion is to call your Apple store and make an appointment to check it out for you.
