new printer software CD ejects the iMac

I have an iMac 3.06 version 10.11.6 and just bought a printer HPMFP 447 but the iMac just guard the disc to the software. It's not the record it loads on my sons macbook, anyone with ideas on what to do?

Most printers are already supported by OS X and it is not necessary to install drivers from the CD of manufactured goods.

    Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    Type the following in the black command prompt window and press enter
    spooler request SC

    You should see something like this:

    What is the 'State' displayed for you?

    Open the Services applet (start > run > services.msc > OK) and scroll down to "print spooler".  The status should be started and the Startup Type should be automatic.  What are the parameters of your correspondents?  If your print spooler is stopped, you can try to launch it by clicking on the link, but I suspect that it stops again.  Please report the results of your efforts.

  • HP solutions Center not in new printing software

    I recently bought the HP Photosmart e-all-in-one 7510 device, it replaced my HP J6480 all-in-one. One of the programs with the software J6380s has been that something called "HP solutions Center." I ended up uninstalling the Solution Center and all the HP software to fix a bug. I installed successfully the new printer and software, however, the digital dashboard is very rudimentary. It lacks several features that I really enjoyed with Solution Center: 1. the is scan searchable .pdf documents 2. several photos with a scan (can not do this with the basic software provided with the 7510) 3. easier handling of scanned documents, (crops, rotation, etc.). The printer is a great, but without the software to drive... I tried to find a 'Contact HP with a suggestion/comment' link, but unfortunately, everything is suitable for technical support. Everything works fine, so I really don't need to contact technical support. Does anyone know if HP will integrate Solution Center in an update of the player/softward futre. It seems that all new everything-in-one have more solutions as part of the software Center. Thank you

    One of the latest HP products come with different software, no longer aiming the center of HP solutions and will most likely not include it in the future.

    1. I'm afraid you won't be able to save a searchable PDF using the specific printer.
    Unlike products Officejet, Photosmart products does not include OCR application as part of the HP software, which means that text or searchable PDF editable scan are not available. for this, you can use any 3rd party software scanning.

    You can try Vuescan to 3rd party software, in my opinion, it should provide this kind of functionality.

    It can also answer your problem of 3rd.

    2. to scan multiple pages into a single file, the pages in the feeder from the lace top and then analyze by selecting the Document in the file option.

    You can also do this from the flat bed scanner by launching the software from your PC.

    Click on scan a Document or Photo and select the Document in the file option.

    Make sure the show the preview scan option is checked and click on scan.

    Use the button "+" under Add / Remove PAges to add more pages, filnally, click on save.

  • Cannot print any document of the iMAC

    The only file type that allows to print's email (Gmail account).  When you try to print any type of document from MS Office, PDF, or HTML, the page file is empty.  I restarted my iMac (el Capitan OS) and my printer (Epson XP-400) without change.  Problem just started today (12-16 August).

    Try to reset the printing system by following the instructions to solve problems of printer on your Mac - Apple Support and then reinstall the printer and repeat the test. You can restart in Mode safe after resetting, it deletes some caches.

    1. Uninstall the printer - click here for instructions.
    2. Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
    3. Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
    4. Finally, click here to reinstall your printer.

  • I can't find the hp printing software to activate the scan of the computer for my hp6800 printer

    My printer is working, but I want to be able to scan. But I can not find my HP printer on my computer software - outside of "all apps" or in the "remove programs" Control Panel I scanned the C drive with 8600 and can't find it. Where could else be?

    I started using this computer two months ago, and the printer just worked. It is attached wireless. It appears in the devices and printers Control Panel.

    Can you give me the number of the FPU / product number located on the back of the printer, just around the serial number?

  • 5530 Evvy replaced printer - need to replace the driver and software?

    Recently, I had to feel my 5530 all-in-One printer replaced while it was still under warranty. The replacement came with new driver software and everything, but since it is the same model that I decided not to install it and use the existing driver installed on computers instead. (Replacement not be come with directions for uninstall, said by the way.)

    The new printer is connected to the wireless network (using touch screen) and is recognized by computers on the network, but I can't get anything to print, since the existing driver HP software does not seem to 'find' the printer. Do I still need to uninstall the driver and reinstall? And what about the other programs installed with HP printer?

    The computers are all Windows 7 64 bit.  I'm not very technical, so it makes me a little nervous.

    I am trying to install my printer software and was the error message 101-1335 on a cabinet "data1.cab" being corrupted MSI so the install fails. I am using XP but noticed that someone who uses 7 becomes the same msg of error for its product from Kodak. How can I fix this please?

  • Reinstall the printer software?

    I have a HP Envy printer which has worked beautifully for a few years on my Windows 7 desktop pc. All of a sudden, it does not print. Message says it is 'offline', but the printer says it is connected to the home network. I see that an icon in the notification area indicates that the scan to PC app is "not available".

    Interestingly, I can print from a laptop Windows 7, which has been installed from the same CD - and notice it says "Scan - to - PCActivation App works ("Scan of the computer is on.").

    I was hours with a HP one after another tech support person. They made me pay $99.99 in advance, through all sorts of help desk services, and then abandoned. Whenever I asked a technical support if could perhaps help to uninstall and reinstall the printer software, they dismiss the idea. The fact that I can print from another computer seems to exclude a printer problem. Do anyone think?

    Download the drivers from the site / install them. See if they work.

    I have reinstall the printer, but I also disconnected and reconnected the router. The problem has been fixed, but unfortunately, I can't be sure who did the trick. However, I strongly suspect that my intuition, encouraged by your suggestion, was correct, and that the relocation of the "worked" printer software Thank you very much.

    I have a vertical yellow line on the touch screen of my new printer Photosmart 7510.  The yellow line is part of the screen (pixels).  Install my printer on my XP Windows last night.  This is a new printer, right out of the box.

    This problem can be solved, or should I get a replacement?

  • Photosmart 6520:6520 series software visualization of the HP help viewer help

    Looking for information on color management, I clicked on the help icon and got the HP Help Viewer.  He said that I had to install the online help to display the Viewer.  Following the instructions, I clicked on the link to HP support and downloaded the software "Full Feature software and drivers" and installed.  I have reopened the software HP, click on help, got the Help Viewer and got the same screen saying I need to download the online help.  I went back to the site, tried again, but I was told that I have already downloaded the software.  Any ideas on what is happening here?  Thank you...

    Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

    No idea at all what's happening; It is not supposed to be rocket science and should work.  I suspect that you do it entirely right and he doesn't cooperate.  Rats.

    You might be able to pull up the stubborn the source help file...

    The executable file (program) could be in your bin folder where "HP Officejet Pro 8630" is replaced by the model of your printer / name:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \HP\\bin\HelpViewer\hpqlpvwr.exe

    I guess if it's really messed up, you can try to remove your existing printer software and reinstall the software of feature complete.  I don't see why that would 'fix', but who knows?  Maybe that installation is klaxonnée and needs to get out and be replaced.

  • DeskJet 710C still not eject the last page

    Recently I've stepped over XP 12 Xubuntu. During all seemed to install and my deskjet 710 C was acknowledged (USB configuration). However the printer still not eject the last page, when I use the color cartridge and the last lines do not print correctly. (Black and white is fine)

    (The printer will also print colors wrong of a jpg file that has been inserted into a document in pdf, but I don't know if that is related).

    In addition she also will not eject the last page when another computer on my network printing through sharing. (Last page does not eject if I try to print from another computer, either in color or black and white).

    It is perhaps interesting to note that the paperformat by default after that installation has US letter, while I use A4. I tried to print after changing to A4 and after having changed to A4 and reboot...

    Help, please...

    Found 2 low-tech solutions:

    I used an old parallel cable and printing has managed since then!

    The problem of color was a cartridge empty, followed by a new but default cartridge.  The third cartridge worked.

    I can print everything from anywhere in my network now.

  • Print airport extreme, printer laser HP P1005 and iMac snow leopard computer wireless

    HP P1005 print when connected to the iMac.  When the printer is connected to the Airport extreme, and a print job is sent to the printer, the printer is recognized by the network, but the printer starts to work on hold.  It will not be printed.  I spoke with Apple and HP support, and they say I do all the right things and then refer me to another.  Is there any help out there?  Thank you.

    Thank you for passing that along.  Those are essentially my instructions in my first post:

    -Reset the printing on your Mac system:

    • Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
    • Right click (control) the area of the print queue and select Reset Printing System.
    • Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.
    Reset the printing system is another way to COMPLETELY remove existing instances of the printer (as with USB connection).  I wonder why it didn't work?
