New ram sort of work?

I have a HP probook 450 with 4gig of RAM. So today, I bought an another 8gig of ram and installed. When I start my PC it says that the material is not taken in charge, but when it starts, and I play a game, for example, I can see my pc performance. So I was wondering what is happening with this.

new card to ram note = Adata DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 8 gb

Note that you must DDR3L... low voltage.

You provide enough specifications GB Adata 8 module to see if it is 1.5 volts or the correct memory 1.35 volts.

The Adata I found on amazon.com says:

ADATA first Series - affordable Solutions with C/P features exceptional Ratio Performance. The first series 1600 Mbps DDR3 204 pins (SO-DIMM) are the standard pins design modules to 1.5 volts

http://www.Amazon.com/aData-USA-204-pin-so-DIMM-AD3S1600W8G11-S/DP/B00DOJNNLW/ref=sr_1_9?s=PC & ie = UTF8 & qid = 1411593566 & SR = 1-9 & Keywords = 8 gb DDR3-1600 + PC3-12800

Hi all

New to this forum sorry if this was asked before, I did a search but could not find anything so here goes.

I just bought a new RAM for my Satellite Pro 6000. When I install it nothing happens the laptop won't boot. If I put the old stick in no problem. The ram I bought is unb 512 MB PC133 CL3 and old RAM 256 MB PC133s. I think little small to read with these old eyes.

I was told I might need an update of the BIOS but cannot find one for my laptop under 1.4 for the moment.
Any help would be thank Lindsey

I think that the new RAM is not compatible with the motherboard or laptop.

The manufacturing of the new RAM you said does not for me so I would buy an another RAM, such as Kingston. Kingston makes high quality RAM and many users here buy Kingston RAM to upgrade its RAM.

By the way: do you use the RAM or only the new? Normally, if you use two memory modules live, you must use it with the same specifications.

The update of the BIOS, you can find the Toshiba site, but this doesn t affect the compatibility of Aries.

• New RAM not working not not on iMac 2010

Hello

I have a 21.5 ' mid year 2010 i3 iMac, and, after all this time, it was time to upgrade the RAM.

I bought 2 x 4 GB Patriot SODIMM PC3 - 10600 1333 MHz 204-pin, by following the instructions in the Web page of Apple memory upgrade (install memory in an iMac - Apple Support).: 4 GB RAM SO-DIMM memory DDR3 SDRAM 1333 MHz. I installed it according to job with factory 2x2gb RAM Samsung sticks. After a reboot, everything worked beautifully for about 6 minutes. The identified computer sticks again and showed me a full 12 GB available. Which was great, since Yosemite + a few browser windows and Spotify only lasts up to 3GB. I have enough to spare. However, it restarted and again and again and again.

I decided to test only the new RAM and started with the combination of Patriot 8 GB. It froze on reboot and fully started once, but it restarted less than 2 minutes later.

Result: now I'm back to the original combination of 2x2gb. Always deal with the lack of memory and without understanding what's wrong with the new RAM I bought at Fry's. What about compatibility? Is there an another specification? Of course, I know, there may be a malfunction of hardware, but I would like to address this issue before making another run to the store and risking another model or brand.

For reference: I've tried it before, but because of the lack of information from the seller, I was conquered by a stick of RAM 1x8GB, which is not supported by my model. So I replaced it with the 2 in question.

Thanks for any help.

It is generally recommended to stick with quality RAM to buy from a seller that tests and ensures their RAM to work with Macs - the two most recommended are OWC (macsales.com) and Crucial. They both offer helps you determine which RAM you need and offer the lifetime warranty.

http://eShop.MacSales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2010/DDR3_21.5_27

That should be your - sure.

I'll be back on the RAM for a refund.

• eMachines EL1850 new RAM not working not

Hello everyone!

I wanted to upgrade RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB, so I looked at the label placed on the current RAM and tried to find the best match. I bought and tried 1 x 2 GB Kingston and 2 x 2 GB Corsair (more), but unfortunately none of them worked. After installation and turn on the PC, it was a constant noise for a long time and I couldn't do anything. Nothing on the screen. Then I tried one at a time into the two slots with the same result.

What's wrong? What I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your time and help!

The current RAM:

UNIFOSA 2 GB GDDR3 - 1333 128MX8 1.5V EP, GU512303EP0202

I tried (all new) RAM:

Kingston 1 x 2 GB memory DDR3 1333 MHz Non - ECC, CL9, 1.5V, memory unbuffered DIMM (link)

Corsair 2 x 2 GB memory DDR3 1333 MHz Non - ECC, CL9, 1.5V, memory unbuffered DIMM (link)

Motherboard: G41T-AD V: 1.0

BIOS: P01. B3 (the latest version)

Upgrades successfully achieved to date: replaced Intel Celeron E3400 with Intel Core 2 Duo E8500

Fortunately, I found someone who was trying to sell the same Unifosa modules, 2 x 2 GB. They work perfectly!

I want to thank all the people who have tried to help me!

• New RAM should work, but doesn't work!

Hey

I have / had a SR5019uk, I have somewhat changed i.e new cases, big New/more drive, more RAM, better graphics (Nvidia GeForce 8400GS), better CPU(Athlon 64 X2 5000+).

Now, I put the hand on some new ram that will improve that PC without end but it doesn't seem to work when I put it in with 2 sticks of the current RAM

RAM in = 4 x 512 MB PC2 4200 DDR2 533 Mhz 4-4-4-12

Go to:

New RAM = 2 x 1 Gb PC2 5300 DDR2 667 Mhz 4-4-4-12

I put it as follows: 1 Gb / 512Mb / 1 Gb / 512Mb<---- 4="" slots="" as="" you="" can="">
Allows dual channel

Everything I read says that it will work together; everything in the range of 533 Mhz, but I can live with that for the extra 1 GB of RAM
Read also the Mobo card and he said he can support the two types I listed

Mobo = Asus M2N68 - LA
HP/Compaq name = father-GL8E

But... Nothing.

Beep beep Beeeeeeeeeeeeep! ... <---- is="" all="" i="" get=""> To the Mobo

Help!

Looks like a serious machine. This information can be useful in determining the cause or the source on the beep codes and what they're trying to diagnose. Let me know what happens. This, by the way, is my own opinion and not that of HP.

• Portege R700-19 t - new RAM-> start is no longer

Hello together,

so I bought two new RAM sticks for my old laptop
Toshiba Portege R700-19 t

But since I installed them, the machine does not start in an operating system more.
The installed Windows 7 64 bit goes to a black screen before the windows at Startup logo (even in safe mode). And after a few seconds, the fans will quickly but nothing seems to happen.

The next thing I tried was a (12.04) ubuntu live dvd. But it does not either. No error message or anything, just an automatic restart after a few seconds of black screen.

The next thing was memtest86 + v4.20:
It crashes immediately sometimes a black screen and sometimes at this http://i.imgur.com/eJqIyDp.jpg .
I tested my new two sticks together and alone, still the same problem. The old ones that work perfectly and not crash of memtest.

In the BIOS is the only thing on the memory and then it sees the correct "Total memory size 8192 MB.

Plug portable-mem from toshiba:

• Max Speicherausstattung: 8 GB
• Technology: DDR3 RAM (1,066 MHz)

link to the shop where I bought it: https://www.alternate.de/G-Skill/SO-...roduct/1154622

In my understanding of both new sticks should work well with my laptop, or am I missing something?

concerning

For me, the question is clear enough; the laptop does not start because of new RAM modules.

The new RAM modules are not totally compatible, or the RAM modules are defective.

I recommend you test an other modules; for example modules manufactured by Kingston.

• Satellite P10 - 554 dvd - ram does not work

I got a Satellite P10 554, and as I said above the RAM does not work.
It should be a software problem, because if I reinstall the drivers it works a few minutes (it did until now yesterday it stopped completely)
It is impossible to install the new drivers or update a firmware somehow
(pilot: after rebooting, the old drivers are loaded again (but I uninstalled them))
(firmware update: I still got the message: invalid drive to update f/w)

I hope that someone of you can help me ;)

Hello

What did you mean with the work of t car doesn?
You are not able to burn or read the media?

The error message says it all. I think you re not able to update the firmware because the firmware is not supported on this drive.

Try to remove the drive from Device Manager, and then shut down the laptop.
Usually after restarting again the operating system should recognize the drive again.
If this does not help, you can try to remove the drive from the laptop. Turn on the unit, then go into windows. The reader should disappear. Then stop and reset the drive in the notebook. After this procedure the laptop must load the firmware again.

It will be useful.

• Tecra S3 - cannot use the new RAM modules in the B slot

Hi all

I just bought two RAM modules of 1 GB to replace my old 512 MB one. This, as far as I know, is the maximum allowed by my Toshiba Tecra S3 (PTS30E-01000QSP).

When I put a module in A slot, the machine works perfectly; If I place a second in location B, the computer tries to start but, at a time given, it freezes just (no activity of the HARD drive or changes on the screen) and the fun begins racing on as if some process crashes in the CPU to heat that make it up. At this point, I was always afraid that the heat can damage the computer and be turned off by pressing the on/off switch, so I can't tell if the problem is solved simply waiting.

I swapped the two modules on A slot and the two work well when they are the only one on the machine. Pretty funny if I place (as is the case now) has the old 512 MB in the location B as well as a single module of 1 GB in slot, it works!

My BIOS has been upgraded to the last, that I could find in these same pages (version 3.20 if I'm not mistaken), but it made no difference. If I enter the page of the BIOS when the two 1 GB modules are present, the BIOS recognizes that they are there. This behavior occurs when I try to start Windows or Linux.
Honestly, I'm puzzled. Someone has an idea what can happen and how I could place the two modules on my machine?

Thank you very much and sorry for the long post

O.

Hello

The modules you purchased exactly for your Tecra S3? Maybe that they are not compatible with the laptop and it hangs after a few minutes.

Normally, the Tecra S3 can handle up to 2 GB and that means 1 GB in each slot. For modules of Toshiba part number is PA3411U-1M1G.

In my opinion you should try it with other modules with original 512 MB module everything works so I guess your new RAM is the cause of this problem.

• Satellite L30 10Y does not start with the new RAM modules

Hello
regged just with this forum I have a problem to upgrade memory.

I read through a few problems of memory here and all users that it is a problem of memory comaptible. I got Hynix 512 MB RAM in my laptop and I bought 2 x 1 GB memory Hynix these two are match sticks to the installed memory, but when I installed my laptop wouldn't boot at all. It would only boot if I had a stick in both.

I tried to switch ports top and btm and even when a stick was installed it says in XP, Vista and Windows 7 (yes I tried all systems) 896 MB of available space. I even tried to use my other Hynix stick, but he won't start and showed more stick of 1 GB (896 MB usable in Windows 7). After reading all the threads I wonder if it is a hardware failure or is there a fix in the world of Toshiba or perhaps in the world of Toshiba, the L series is almost obsolete and not worth to help people who unwittingly bought their goods.

I apologize for being slightly down on Toshiba but a laptop that shows what he can work and is not a company should hold his hand up and say that Yes, there is a fault and help deal with the problem.

You see 896 MB, because the rest is reserved for VRAM for graphics card.

Sometimes RAM may simply be incompatible, because of incompatibilities of calendar or RAM chip/controller design differences.

• Satellite L30-10 X - where can I get the new RAM for upgrade?

Hello, world from Toshiba!

I finally decided to spend my current RAM (2 x 512) memory in better and more useful work 2 x 1024. I'm willing to spend the right amount of money for the best solution and I really wanted to get the upgrade memory on the official website of Toshiba, but for some reason any he does not list my model (L30-10 X) in the list of laptops, in fact I can't find at all.

Could someone please direct me to a site that sells official Toshiba products, or if you please inform me of a potential market of memory RAM (for example, Kingston, Corsair, PNY) which will work in my laptop?

Thank you in advance!

Hello!

I think that your model is not on the site of Toshiba, because it s an old but why you don't find your model on the Toshiba site, if you want to increase the RAM? Official website of Toshiba, you can order new RAM modules.

I tried a bit with Google and I founded the part number for 1 GB RAM DDR2 400/533; It s PA3411U-1M1G.
If you're looking for with Google too you should find a few online shops where you can buy it. Alternative contact you service provider allowed. They also sell new RAM for your laptop.

And in my view you can also use RAM from Kingston for example. I have good experiences with Kingston.
As far as I know Toshiba doesn't produce its own RAM. It s RAM other manufacturers like Kingston, but only with another label.

Good bye

• Satellite L675-10T stucks in a black screen after the new RAM upgrade

Hi all

I recently decided to upgrade the memory in my laptop pretty.
I went online, has adapted Rams and ordered.

What I got are 2 of them:
http://www.offtek.co.UK/RAM-specification/Toshiba/Toshiba-laptop-memory/satellite-L675-10T/pid921300

The installation is very easy, but as soon as I turn on my laptop, it stucks in a black screen with a straight white line underscore.

I guess it's an incompatibility problem?
Could you please help me?

Thank you.

I think you're right, it seems that the modules are not totally compatible, even if the online retailer page says they are
You can remove the new RAM modules just to check if the laptop to boot up properly I guess correctly the unit upwards.

Solution? Use a different RAM modules I had good experience using modules from Kingston, they might be a little expensive, but I think they should work correctly.

I had to open the back, remove the battery and reinstall the ram. I found it to be a tight fit and that he had not slipped on. When I restarted it again, I had no problem. I wanted to check if this is the case whenever I turned off the laptop and he did it again and it was. However, when I simply restart the laptop, there is no that. My laptop is to save memory as being installed. I tried to reverse each ram slots and I had the same problems. I did not a ram at a time, but that's my next step. I cleaned inside the laptop and my laptop for recording the ram every time after that I have remove the battery and try again.

I must return the ram, if no problem since I'm able to. It's the ram, I've had because it was what they had worked on my laptop:

Hi gang,.

I am looking to buy new ram to my laptop 13 inch MacBook Pro to early 2011 running Intel Core i5 to 2.3 GHz I have 4 GB, but I'm looking to upgrade to 16 GB DDR3 of ram. During my research, I noticed that people are talking about control to see if it is 1.35v or 1.5V. How can I know that I need?

Ram that is currently in my laptop is 4 GB 1333 MHz and it's the upgrade I'm looking, which has 1, 5V:

Either will work. There will be a saving very, very small with low voltage. If you get your Crucial RAM or OWC, your Mbps interests will be well served. These companies are the most reliable sources for Mac RAM.
