  The default value is generally Adobe, but on my computer, I opened a PDF file and the file opens in Internet Explorer, with an intake in Adobe.

  You can try the 'saved Password Editor' found on the page modules. I find it rather useful myself.

  I don't get the changes I make in CS4 to save. Make changes and sometimes before I save and close a project changes will be lost. These changes are in the headlines.

  Make changes and sometimes before I save and close a project changes will be lost. These changes are in the headlines.

  How do you know that changes are lost if you have not saved the project until you shut up?

  BTW: Save the project until you shut up (usually CS4 invite you anyway)

  What it is in the Titler, the changes have not need saving.  They update automatically (unfortunately) in the project, but then the project needs to be saved

• New Firefox, will not save the homepage and will open and display all add-ons every time!

  Okay - years old now, I used Firefox ONLY - he had the best extensions and modules from any other browser out there. Add to that, it is safe and very fast. This is my default browser.

Once again, back to where it was, opening, as if I just downloaded this browser. Now, I spent literally HOURS trying to solve this problem and I am so frustrated that I'm almost ready to uninstall it! My one complaint is that I've looked everywhere to try to find this same problem and it does not. Is true, I am the only one having this weird problem?

  Hi, when I open a pdf file that has been analyzed in horizontally and I use the "Rotate" option to fix the file I then click file save under and re-record it so it opens correctly, to send it.

  This is quite correct. See turn rotates the VIEW only - what you're watching. It does not change the document. You need to TURN the PAGES, a feature only in paid Acrobat (which also has the rotation of the display, unchanged).

• Why won't save the addresses I enter the address book?

  Since we had Thunderbird, we were not able to add all of the addresses in the address book. Strange thing is, we added an address when we started, and the address is saved! But after that and since then, no other addresses are saved when add us them. Here's what happens: we add a new contact, enter the information and click OK. Thunderbird is always open, contact seems to be stored in the address book and can be accessed. But as soon as Thunderbird is closed and reopened, the address disappears and we are left with only only one address, that we've added when we started and nothing more. I hope someone can help with this!

• Timed Access - won't save the changes of time

  I am using access delayed for several years.  It worked great until today.  When I try to change the time settings, it seems to work.  For example, I got our xbox set to turn off at 11:30.  I changed it at 23:31.  I hit 'Fact' several times until you are prompted to update.  It seemed to work - I even went back to check.  But then less than a minute later she came back both previous.  I use an AirPort Extreme and just updated to 7.7.7.  I also expanded the network by using an Airport Express, which has the same parameters of time on it.  I tried to time changes using AirPort Utility on my iPhone and on my Windows PC.

  Two options that have both worked for me:

  1) return to 7.7.3 firmware

  (2) keep installed 7.7.7 and delete all the access settings timed, updated to save installation and let AirPort Extreme will restart. Then enter the settings again.

  Can't tell if it will work for you, however.  Good luck if you want to try it. Keep the Express turned off until you have AirPort Extreme up and running properly. Then, turn on the Express.

• TouchSmart won't save the home page settings

  Here is an oddity, I had case found and could use some help with a solution. It seems not to be possible to change my browser home page when you use the Touchsmart software. If I run the browser friendly updated the touch, it seems not to be an option to reset the HP default home page. If I run regular IE since within the Touchsmart software, normal home page layout tools are present but do not seem to work. I tried to put new homepages as well compared to the setting "Add or change Home Page" under the icon of the House and through the Internet Options in the Tools menu. In each case, the next time I open the browser, the default value of HP is used. If I open IE after that the OUTPUT of the Touchsmart software, and then reset the homepage works exactly as you would expect.

  All the world has noticed this problem? Is it possible to change the home page of the modified browser? More importantly, is there some way to make the settings of the home page to stick when launch IE through Touchsmart?

  I know that I can always just launch IE outside the Touchsmart, so this isn't a very big deal. I'm just curious.

  You think that a browser in TouchSmart home page is basically just a link. To make you own 'Home Page' to the TouchSmart:

  1. open TouchSmart

  2 - touch customize

  3 - touch add a tile

  4 - Select Web site, and then click Next.

  5. fill your homepage address http:// and give it a name, such as 'Google' and press OK

  6. you should see your new tile with the default globe icon in the list of tiles and it is worth noting.

  7 - Press OK to return to the home page. You can then drag it to the main view.

  If you want to hide the link from HP (called Navigator), return to Personlize and turn off highlight the browser called tile.

  This problem may occur if the Pagefile.sys file is corrupted. I suggest that you rebuild the Pagefile.sys file by following that the steps provide by Frederik long button 11, 2012 in the link below.

• PDF fill-able file won't save the changes

  Please excuse me if this has been covered before. If so, please point me to the appropriate thread.

  One of our customers with attempted legal service fill in the information on a PDF file that was downloaded from a site in the State. When information is entered into the PDF form and saved, the fields that have been filled to remain blank.

  Downloaded the same form on my computer, do a right click on the selected file unlock to make sure that the economy was not blocked, entered some test info, but no effect.

  I can't seem to shape on dropbox, but keep in mind that Yes, the form must be enabled using Acrobat (at least) but there are too many restrictions on this type of form is not certain that a State agency he would use for a form of general use.   I found a work around!  It is not terrible but works at least for the moment.  Do not try to save or the app stops and you lose everything.  Instead, once you have made your handling or changes using the screenshot moves by pressing the button home and switch on the side at the same time.  This will save your work to the camera.  Better than nothing...

• Password Manager won't save the logons under Win 7

  T61p win7 pro 64-bit.  Just installed software CSS and fingerprints.  Everything that puts in place and the fingerprint reader allows me to log on.  Try to set up a log of fingerprints either quicken on in password manager and it does NOT record.

  Asks me if I want to.  Create a name etc but nothing saves. ???

  Fixed!  Is returned in the directory: swtools/apps/fingerprint and noticed a second file named updater.  Ran, rebooted.

  Works.  Never would have seen at least that I returned.

• For some reason, Firefox is not saving my WHOLE story. The back button works, but I can't open recently closed tabs, save the tabs for previous visits or discovers even of the history - it is simply not there. Why my computer won't save the history?

  I can navigate backward and forward in a tab, or in the session browser, but as soon as the tab or the session closes it is like all the record is erased from my computer. I don't know if the problem is my computer or firefox, but it doesn't seem to be anything like this mentioned there and I would really appreciate the help.

  One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.
