new tab file not found

Everytime I open a new tab said:-
Firefox can't find the file in C:/users/Sri Vaibhav/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/xspleh3q.default/extensions/{B821BF60-5C2D-41EB-92DC-3E4CCD3A22E4}/chrome/content/newtab/newtab.html.

It's a problem with Panda Security toolbar extension.

Thanks for posting the details of your system. I'm skeptical about the "CompTool0234 Community Toolbar". Could you disable some add-ons and see if that helps.

    On this tab:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Plugins category

    Disable «Conduit Plugin»

    On this tab:

Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

    Disable the CompTool0234 community toolbar.

Then very probably a link will appear to restart Firefox to make the change. Does make a difference?

  • The new tab (+) does not work, or the file/new tab feature

The new tab (+) does not work. The function of the file/new tab does no more work. Both had worked correctly until noon today. I haven't added any software, plug-ins or extensions today, I do not have the Ask toolbar. I tried several of the suggestions made on this site, nothing helps.

This problem may be caused by an extension that does not work in the current version of Firefox.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

  • I downloaded and used a test of Lightroom, several days ago.  I've used and have a library, but now, when I try to use it today, my pictures seem to be there in the library but when I try to start working on a new picture, I get a "file not found messages

I downloaded and used a test of Lightroom, several days ago.  I've used and have a library, but now, when I try to use it today, my pictures seem to be there in the library but when I try to start working on a new picture, I get a ' file not found message.»  How can I go back in my files?

There are a number of options available when you choose to import files to your catalog in Lightroom (library)

1 copy / copy as DNG, this option allows you to copy files of origin from their existing location, for example a folder on an existing, promenade, internal, external, a reader of card or a camera SD card connected to the computer via a USB port, to a location of your choice, in a folder of a HARD internal, external HARD disk drive or a network drive on your choice.

    2. move. This option allows you to move files of origin of their location, for example a folder on an existing drive, internal or external to a new location of your choice, in a folder of a drive HARD internal, external HARD disk or a network drive on your choice. (the Move option you cannot move files from a card or your camera.)

    3. ADD., this option allows you to add image files to the catalog of their location, for example a folder on an existing drive, internal, external or network drive and the original images remain in their current location.

The original image file will be located at the location of your choice.

There are no image files in your catalog (or library) file the original files are in the location you choose.

If you choose to add files to your catalog from an external drive, then unplug the player from your computer, then Lightroom which will show the 'file not found '.

  • Open a new tab does not work

Yesterday the + tab opens a new tab when you click it. Today, it doesn't. New tab file does not work either. I use OS X El Capitan. I really want to use FireFox as my browser - it's much faster than Chrome. But I'm not going to open a new window every time I want to start something new.

Continue the behavior mode without failure of Firefox? https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/troubleshoot-Firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

If Yes, then we can rule out assorted settings, Extensions and themes. Next step is probably malware analyses, but I don't know what scanners are good for Mac OS.

If not, then it is time to start weeding the themes and Extensions 1 by 1 until the culprit is found.

  • Error file not found in Temp. Firefox does not start

When I try to start Firefox (Windows 8.1 desktop computer) I get a full white screen with only the following error message:

    File not found
Firefox can't find the file at / c; /Users/ username/AppData/Local/Temp/name of file (more than fifty characters long, all the numbers and letters without anything that looks like a real word and ends in /BGAW05 .htm).

It of only a button to Try Again that never works and some directions to verify the name of the error file, or check if the file has been moved, renamed or deleted. I check to see if the file is no where on C: and it doesn't. It is there no file in Temp even remotely close to that name. I run Firefox with several tabs that are registered and come back when I restart Firefox. So maybe this file in Temp was associated with a deleted tab.

As I said, this error message comes up full screen, covering the taskbar and not reduce it, restore, close buttons, as if I was running in mode Metro, I never do and will never do.

Because of this error I can not even start Firefox now, so I had to become a user of Internet Explorer.

How can I get Firefox to stop looking for this file?

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I found a solution to my problem. Looking in my info on solving computer problems, I noticed that some problems can be resolved by the administrator. I tried with Firefox and it worked. The only damage was that I lost the current tabs. But Firefox seems to work fine otherwise.

  • New tab will not open

When I click to open a new tab, the new tab does not open. Some web pages open new tabs correctly. I tried safe mode and new tabs will open correctly in the corresponding mode. I use Norton to anti-protection against viruses. What is Norton causing the problem or am I looking for another cause?

Type of topic: addons< enter > in the address bar to open your add-ons Manager.
    Access key; < Control >(Mac: < command >)< shift > has)

In the Manager of Add-ons, on the left, select Extensions.
Disable some add-ons, then restart Firefox.

Some added addons toolbar and anti-virus are known to cause
Firefox issues. Disable all of them.

If the problem persists, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the
the problem disappeared. After, you know which group is the origin of the problem.
Reactivate the last group ONE AT A TIME (reboot FF) until the problem reports.

Once you think you have found the issue, that disable and reactivate all the
others, then restart. Let us know who the suspect is detective.

  • Firefox tells me I'm aware, but he also says that I am under 16 version. I can't download a more current (says file not found).

When I got Firefox > on Firefox, it tells me I have 16.0.2
However he also told me that I am up to date.
Based on a quick search, it seems that you are on twenty something!
I tried to download a new one (for mac, British English), but it says "file not found".

    Don't know what to do.

The current versions of Firefox requires OS X 10.6 or later, so if you want to continue using Firefox beyond Firefox 16, you must upgrade to OS X 10.6.8 or later version.

Firefox 16.0.2 is the last version that works on an Intel Mac with OS OS X 10.5.

Not related to your question, but...

You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update if necessary:

  • Said file not found when I try to open my mail yahoo or other sites

page says file not found: the path that you are trying to access is invalid or inaccessible - verify the path. This happens when I want to open mail from yahoo, msn or any other site.

Sometimes the site page will be displayed in the address bar but the page is empty and have to "Refresh" page.

I don't like the new Firefox, can I go back to the previous?

Press F10, or press the Alt key to bring up the 'Menu Bar' temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.

Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "tools > Options" If the menu bar is hidden.

  • new tabs are not open

When I clivk the + sign on the tabs toolbar or select NEW TAB on the file menu, a new tab will not open if I select fire fox Help menu help, a new tab open and I can then go to my home page and use as usual, since the update to 3.6.15

The Ask toolbar is originally only in versions of Firefox 3.6.13 +. Obviously something in this extension is not compatible with a Firefox security patch. Disable this extension or uninstall it.

  • "File not found" message while trying to download games.

Original title: downloaded games on this computer

Whenever I have to download a new game, I get the message "file not found". Games Download fine on my other computer, but I would like to be able to use this computer also because of the convenience of not having moved.

    Hi buzzyh51,

    a. what operating system is installed on your computer?

    b. are you referring to the Games downloaded from a specific Web site?

    c. other computer also has the same operating system?

    d. get you any specific error and the error code?

    e. is the relevant issue in a particular game?
    f. What is the size of the file when it is downloaded?

In the meantime, follow the steps below.

    Method 1:

Temporarily disable any security software and then try to install the game, follow the steps mentioned below

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

Turn off the User Account Control (UAC) and then try to install the games.

Access this link to turn off UAC: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Turn-User-Account-Control-on-or-off

Note: User Account Control (UAC) can help prevent your computer from unauthorized changes. UAC notifies you when changes will be made to your computer that require administrator-level permissions. These types of changes can affect the security of your computer or can affect settings for other people who use the computer. We recommend that you leave UAC to help your computer course.

    Method 3:

Put your machine in a clean boot State and try to install the game and check what is happening.

    Response with status.
