  Now that I had to get out the old version of Skype to this new crap. I am no longer able to make what was the purpose of the Skypes for... VIDEO CALLS! Whenever I try to start a video call my Skype immediately crashes and closes. However, in versions previous it was never a problem. So why should it be a problem now? I use Windows 7 Ultimate, was using the same machine for the past 3 years without any problems with the webcam until this new update. So where is the improvement? of course, that is not stated here then why force us to receive this update from distastful? Please enlighten me?

  Hi again. I finally found this solution only took me 3 days. All because the left hand is not the right hand. You must ensure that you have install the driver of camera from microsoft: 6.1.7601.18208

  I found this by installing a driver from windows update when you access the properties of the camera. Hope this helps everyone. So far, I've found many users with the same problem, but do not see a single post with a solution that works. Good luck to all.
