  I recently signed up for a single user version of the CC 49.99.  I managed to download the Dreamweaver on my PC with windows 8, but I can't get the download to start on my Mac Book Pro.  I have the Mavericks on the MBP.  I have a wireless connection, but I also have a wired connection I have tried.  The two did not work for me.  I also tried to uninstall the creative application of cloud has then used the adobe cleaner program.  After having done these things based on what I read in the forum, I can't always DW to start anything.  Any help would be great.  Thanks in advance.

  I get the popup "update" whenever I connect to my computer and it gives me an error message but no code error. The update starts at 0% and stays there indefinitely.

  By quitting their stand alone suite (CS5, 6 etc) and later support for it, Adobe has FORCED me to use their Cloud Creative suite subscription. Now, all of a sudden the updates will not download and install and Adobe wants me to follow a set RIDICULOUSLY long and complicated steps to solve the problem? It's a complete and absolute nonsense!

  Go to your desktop and double-click the file name fixme.reg

  or

  Click Start.

  Type regedit in the search field and press to enter.

  On the registry change windows click on file and select import.

  Navigate to the location where the fixme.reg file and select the file.

  Click ok on the windows screen once the registry is merged successfully.

  Restart computer and check if updates installs.

  I also had iolo which weaken my Windows Installer and I had to uninstall it.

  x 86 is commonly used instead of 32-bit (and no, I don't know why)-if it's one you need for a 32-bit system.  I looked up the update here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2539636.  Then I went to http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=27017 and I think that what you want is NDP40-KB2539636 - x 86 .exe.

  You really don't need the CD of installation anyway.  The only thing you need is the serial number that comes with the drive.  Just download the trial version and install it.  Activate with serial number, which're you good to go.  You may still download in order to have the latest version.
